What is the saddest Larry era? Why is it that last year of the band being together? Louis and Harry were broken up but still deeply loved each other. There was this tension in many interviews thanks to management but also thanks to life. Louis was going through a rough time with his mom, then becoming a father, and the ending of the band. Signing another 5 years with the awful company. Louis was out partying a lot which was not on Brand of him he was spiraling. "Should be laughing, but there's something wrong And it hits me when the lights go on Shit, maybe I miss you" You can see Harry desperately wanted to help Louis but you can't help someone who won't let you in and who didn't want help. They both just looked so sad. "It's not you and it's not me" that year was definitely not them.
