As for clarification, MSPFA is a website where you can create your own webcomics! Its usually used for homestuck related things but im using it for CR related things because im quirky like that /hj

Announcement for Cookie Run: Heartbreak

Hi hello, Colin here.

So, a big part of my blog growing up here on Tumblr was my CR AU called CR:HB, and I believe it even made quite a bit of an impact in the fandom seeing it somehow made it on A COOKIE RUN ICEBERG VIDEO-

That being said, I admit I haven't touched the blog, nor the comic, or even anything in particular related to it for quite a while. Reason for that is that.. I just couldn't keep up the constant activity at the time. I've had quite the problems in school, problems with my aunt, problems problems problems-

And other than that, I've also took quite a break from CR overall until a while ago, as you've likely noticed from my blog activity. I've been more fixated on other fandoms and things, and with how much controversy has been going on in the fandom I just wanted to focus on something else-

However, recently now, I've started to both play the game and get more interested in my stuff again, my Cookie ocs, and my AUs.

Now, there's a few things I wanna say in advance:

"Is CR:HB coming back?"

Yes, but maybe not in the way you think.

Most of you likely know the AU originated on my secondary blog, @cookie-run-heartbreak, where the majority of the AUs story has taken place and was supposed to keep taking place.

Now, I was thinking about how I could continue on the blogs story, and I've come to a simple conclusion:

I can't.

Now don't get the wrong idea, this doesn't mean I'm scrapping the story. I've simply been thinking about the written and planned story a lot now, and I don't know about you, but personally here's what I think about the story so far:

It's overly edgy garbage.

Yes, I know it's called Heartbreak and being edgy was one of it's core traits. But it just doesn't sit right with me.

As I've grown as a person, artist, and most importantly writer, I've realized just how awful some parts of the story were and I'm surprised no one ever said anything about it.

The how things just happened with no explanation, how some characters barely bad motives, and just... so many things that were there for nothing but SHOCK.

It doesn't feel right-

Now maybe it's just me, maybe I somehow managed to still make something good despite edginess, but I'm not too sure here.

Now-

What does that mean for the blog?

I don't know yet. I've been thinking about if I should reset the story and start anew and better, but I also know people wouldn't like that. I know that, and part of me doesn't want to do it either.

However, I DO plan to start the story anew on the MSPFA for it! I'll update the next few pages of the comic soon and I'll try to keep it updated regularly!

So for now, the blog will continue to be on a halt. Until I figure out what to do.

And perhaps I'll even ask for you guys opinion, since the story was so heavily focused around peoples actions as much as the characters.
