There are a lot of things I want to say to people in my family but some how I never have the courage to do so. I take into account how others would perceive me and if the things I want to say are rude and disrespectful. I guess people who truly and completely don’t give a shiz are the types of people I envy. Instead, I bottle up everything I want to say and honestly it just eats me alive. At the same time, though, I wonder why I am so emotional. There are people who do not care about anything at all so nothing gets to them ever and there are people who care about how situations affect them but don’t care about the methods they apply to protect themselves. 

I’m 25 years old now and while I am going through an existential crisis like a whole bunch of other 20 something year olds, I think the bigger crisis is that all of the family problems I have tried to suppress and avoid are creeping up on me and leading me on a path of self destruction. Suddenly it feels like the stress of not finding a decent job or answering “what’s my purpose in life?” isn’t as significant to me as it used to be. 

I’m slowly getting to see how I’ve become who I am today. I credit myself and my parents. My dad is nuts and has a serious anger issue. He usually thinks he is right about everything and fails to see things from other people’s perspectives. Does he realize that he wouldn’t have what he has today and all the yesterdays if it wasn’t for my mom? Or does he realize that and it hurts his pride? My mom “gave” him a company to work at, a job and a place to live for his brother, a separate house for my dad, his sister, and mother, a car for his sister... and these are only the things I know about. 

My mom basically raised me and my siblings alone-ish... Took us to school, the doctor, more school, on vacations, took us shopping, did a lot of the legally required paperwork. So when something goes wrong or something happens in a way that my dad does not like, why does all the blame go to my mom? And why does my mom just let him talk to her like that? Why does my mom constantly take on more than she can handle and think she can balance everything when it’s apparent to everyone that she can’t. 

Like my dad, I have temper issues and sometimes I like to push the blame on others because I do not want to face my inadequacies. Like my mom, I try to be a people pleaser and not cause conflict or face problems head on. Why can’t they just get a divorce? My mom says it would disappoint their parents. It’s 2019 for god’s sake. She says she has big dreams and goals so why is she letting someone who hates everything she does bring her down? My dad makes my mom sad and my mom makes my dad angry... what’s the point of this relationship at all?? The saddest part is how they think it’s just an issue between the two of them when that is not the case at all.

Hippocratic Crush 2 and some others~

Hey, y'all been watching hippocratic crush 2 lately? (i dont actually talk like that...lol) anyway, i have been watching! i dont quite remember the first one clearly, but this feels like a good sequel. seriously, yat geen tau is getting pretty annoying at this point. actually, the relationship between yu jai and him is. i feel so bad for yu jai actually. can he get over it already and leave her alone? i understand how he is very caring and just loves his wife so much but it keeps dragging and dragging!! 

next, look at all the newbies in this drama omg 

3, what kind of drama post would be complete if the drama i am talking about has eliza sam as a cast!!!!! okay, yeah, did i see improvement in this drama????? no, sorry eliza sam fans. dont hate me just because i hate her!!! (hate is a strong word, maybe dislike is better) we all have our likes and dislikes!! her chinese SLIGHTLY improved... but her acting is still horrible and it's as though she just recites the script. hope she improves soon, her cute face can get her far.

finally, ive been looking forward to bounty lady for awhile now and im glad its out! i watched the 1st episode and though not hilarious, it was still entertaining. yay sharon chen~ and yay wong zee wah, and yay the guy who plays his big brother ^_^ also, i really feel bad for the chubby girl.... TVB ALWAYS takes advantage of her figure and uses jokes against her in dramas. well... only like 3 so far, but it's likely that they continue to do so. people have feelings!!!! 

in terms of korean dramas,

suspicious housemaid is over!!! CRIESCRIESCRIES. the last two eps just came out monday and tuesday (today) and i am excited to watch it but sad to know it's ending. I also tried watching Heirs with like lee min ho, won bin, and park shin hye (?) or is it the girl who looks like her lol, but nope. and i watched some of pretty man with IU and the main dude with long hair is just.. a little unbearable to me. but he is the main point and lead of the drama sooooooooooooooooooo

This is a reply to you Eliza Sam post/rant when you said her Chinese is bad it isn't her fault she was born in and raised in Canada and her Chinese is off also I don't think TVB can train them to be better

Yeah… (you can just reply on the post so everyone can share their ideas!) Anyway, yeah it isn’t her “fault” I guess but I mean, TVB doesn’t need to accept everyone, seriously. As a person who has watched TVB for so many years, I totally feel like I’m witnessing TVB’s downfall (which I hope isn’t true) and not all the new actors/actresses suck. I don’t watch TVB so I can make fun of the people who can’t speak Chinese or act well. Drama should be watched for its creativity of the storyline/plot etc. and of course with the good looking people in it hahahahahha. TVB is lucky to be the major entertainment group in Hong Kong.

alright, soooooooooooooooooooooo.... i'm sorry but i'm an eliza sam hater. i've mentioned her before in some other post about another drama she was in and omg she still sucks but ughhhhh TVB is bringing all these new people and like 90% of them suck. in all honesty, eliza is cute but JLFJADHFSDHJKFAEKBNH I CANT TAKE HER IN SNIPER STANDOFF (or any other drama she was in). not only does her acting suck straws, her chinese is extremely inconsistent and pronunciation is off. can't TVB properly train her (and all these newbies) before putting her in so many dramas omg. well, people who like her would probably suggest i don't watch the drama if i hate her so much... but come one, there has to be other out there who understand the feeling of hating aspects of a drama but just continue watching. a drama would have to be super terrible or something to actually make me stop watching. AND, i also feel like i can express my thoughts since i have been watching TVB for over 10 years.

WAR AND BEAUTY

Ok, has anyone been keeping up with this new drama? Anyway, I watch it on azdrama and a lot of the comments posted are rather negative. Many people say it's boring, too much talking, it's too complicated etc. Meh, I don't know. I do agree that the language is just slightly more confusing than other TVB ancient dramas...but still.. more or less the same... I also do not have much of a position on whether it is fantabulous or terrible because i do view it as another TVB drama. HOWEVER, it has more importance since it is a WAR AND BEAUTY TWO. (not that i am like a hardcore fan of the first one, but it was such a big hit) and ada choi, and sheren tang, it's nice to see them again. was charmaine in the first one? if yes, i wish she was in this one too. if not, well i still miss seeing her in dramas. anyway, the story line doesnt continue from the first one right? i wish it did. because now its just like remaking the drama.... with a new story line but same concept. hm. yeah, i also really really really do not like christine kuo. i mean, i was still slightly excited before it came out, and now christine kuo is like almost ruining it. and she doesnt even have that many lines. sometimes i feel like they cast certain people because they are pretty but kinda sucks at canto(like eliza sam), gum gong (bc he is funny i suppose, from taiwan, uber sucks at canto lol) but christine kuo sucks at acting??? and is she even pretty???! anyway, i feel like TVB drama rarely makes awesome dramsa,yet i watch almost every one. (it helps me with my chinese). with that being saaaaaaid, this war and beauty isnt terrible, and i await triumph in the skies 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

edit: i think i just messed up the names of the dramas... didnt realize they had different names =_=

A Hint of You

Ok, so I just started a new drama called A Hint of You, or 美味的想念. I liked it when I first started (I am on ep.5) but like most Taiwanese dramas, it does not take long for me to get annoyed. I've reached that point buuuuuuuut probably gunna keep watching because I'm not THAAAAAT like level 10 annoyed yet. It's just that the main girl is so annoying. sorry i keep using the same word. anyway, like the part where main guy literally accidentally kisses her because of the bus, but when they get to the police station and accuse the man of like sexual harassment or whatever she just sits there like wtf. AND, after she injured her hand and she couldnt cook she refused to admit that she is falling behind. her uncle goes into the kitchen like you are so slow, are you able to keep up blah blah and shes like yeah i can do it. then he goes back into the kitchen later and sees that she dropped the wok and all the food onto the floor and shes like nbd, there is nothing wrong, i can handle this!!! =______________= seeeerrriiioooouuusssss?????? also, the main guys gf is not pretty and she is a doctor? gtfo. and she is freaking rruuuuuuuude

Season of Love

Does anyone else feel a little bitter about the Summer season?... I think Ron should have been a little (more than a little)mad that Summer just consistently doesn't trust him and thinks he is responsible for all the threats made towards her. 

but their kiss scene really was super cute (and not awkward) and like you could feel the chemistry!!!!!!
