Will/Have you ever preserve a child? Or what if a specimen has a child?

I don't preserve children or specimens with children.

Y'know how you don't typically preserve newly hatched insects, and instead wait till they're bigger and more interesting? Yeah, that's why I don't preserve children or their parents.

Plus, it's much easier to pin down adult specimens! Also I don't have any child-sized display cases at the moment... 😅

Nah, they're different from other humans. I don't feel right calling them specimens, or preserving them 😅

At first I used to think that they just weren't special, but that's obviously not true. There's just something, different about them y'know?

Hello! May I ask: If a specimen has a pet of sorts, would you preserve it as well?

No, of course not! That's a living breathing animal!

But since I don't want them to end up in shelters or bad situations, I try not to preserve specimens that have pets.

And If they did have pets and I didn't know, I have an entire section of my museum dedicated to caring for them until I can find them verifiably good homes 😊

I have preserved a total of 65 specimens! And it'd be 66 if this Woman I'm trying to euthanize would just go to sleep already 🙄.

Also Chris is fine! Luckily the repeated amnestisizing hasn't had too much of an effect on him 😅.

Do you display your specimens with different poses? or just a generic pose for everyone?

I try to challenge myself and give my specimens different poses!

They tend to relate to what makes them special. Like a librarian that's posed with their favorite book.

Some poses are more challenging than others, but that's what's fun about it! 😊
