Discord: Technically speaking, I could just tell them. My problem is I want to keep this from deterring Keira from whatever lies ahead. I don't want to put a damper on her confidence.

Moon Dancer: It just might! I guess we'll see when we get in there.

Timber: It does! I'm excited to see what happens here!

Keira: Well, you're not far off from it being a garden! There's a lot of plants and stuff and- actually, maybe it'd be better if every pony just came and saw for themselves.

Heartistry: Heh heh. Might be a good idea. Still, it was worth a shot.

As they continued through the corridor, they came to a stop. The walkway was broken off and there was a room branching off. The group stopped, unsure of what to do for a moment.

Heartistry: Let me see if there's something on the other side!

Keira: No, Hearts! Wait!

But before Keira could stop her, Heartistry took off flying.

It only took a couple seconds for every pony to find there was some sort of magical barrier that prevented her from crossing over. With a solid "thump", the pegacorn came crashing back down.

Moon Dancer: Hey! Are you OK?

Heartistry staggered around a moment before shaking her head and coming back around.

Heartistry: Yeah, I'm fine. I just wasn't expecting there to be a barrier there.

Seeing that her friend was OK, Keira decided to take a look in the room that branched off, hoping maybe there was a solution to why the road was cut off.

Moon Dancer: Well, it's probably safe to say our magic won't do anything here for this.

Heartistry: Well, does any pony else have an idea of how to get across?

Timber: Discord! Why don't you snap us over there?!

Discord froze up, knowing he couldn't do anything to speak of.

Just as he was about to admit he was powerless in this temple, Keira came out of the room that was to the side.

Keira: Hey, Timber! I think I need your help here. There's a lot of plants and seeds in this room that I think you might know about.

Timber: A plant puzzle? Well, that's not something you hear of often. But sure thing, Cousin!

As Timber, Keira, Heartistry, and Moon Dancer piled into the room, Discord let out a quick sigh of relief out of view and earshot of every pony before following them in.

this seems like a pretty long hall way I wonder how long it will take to reach the end?

Keira: That's a good question. I'm not sure how long this could go, but as long as every pony is here together with me, that almost doesn't matter. I'm really enjoying every pony's company!

Heartistry: Yeah, I'll say! I don't know how else we could've gotten around if not. I didn't see any torches or anything like that.

Timber: No, no. I agree. That wouldn't be good at all. But hey, every pony got a laugh out of it! I can't say I made a mistake in making everyone laugh!

Moon Dancer: I can't help but to wonder if her dad was in fact here at some point. It almost makes sense that he would've since she's been lead here, but who knows.

Keira: From what I know, he was. And my mum was just as great of a teacher to me.

well discord, since your magic does not work, best well follow keira and the others

Discord: Yeah, no kidding! I'd rather not get left behind, especially here!

On that decision, every pony used their magic to serve as a torchlight as they made their decent down the stairs in front of them. While Keira wasn't looking, Discord attempted to summon a torch or a flashlight, but much to his surprise, his magic did nothing in this temple. He was about to say something, but seeing how Keira was so confidently leading the others, he decided against it and followed along sheepishly.

The light from the horns of every pony wasn't exactly bright enough to light a room, but it certainly worked well enough to act as torches. There wasn't much that could be made out in the dark corridors ahead of them, but onward they pressed.

Heartisty: So how did your mom know the song?

Keira: My guess is my dad must've taught it to her. I didn't get to know my dad since he passed before I was born, but I think it's kind of a gift from him in a way.

Moondancer: That's a nice way to think of it, but do you know if your dad was ever here to begin with?

Keira: It's hard to say. I still need to find that last talisman, but I almost feel like we may find it here. I mean, like you all said before, Discord's magic must've gotten us here for a reason.

Timber: That's the spirit, Cousin! Hey, think we'll find any Diamond Dogs in here?

With Timber's joke, every pony couldn't help but to laugh a little bit. As they continued on, Discord tried his best to be emotionally supportive to every pony else, still aware that he wasn't able to do anything with his magic.

Moon Dancer: Well, that's true. I hope every pony else is ready!
