hi guys! I just recently started playing RO for Steam, I was wondering what's the difference between TalonRO and RO steam? Any gameplay differences? It'd be awesome to be able to meet up since you helped introduce me to the game, I haven't gotten far at all on the steam version though, still mega noob so I was wondering if I should switch to TalonRO while it's early? love you both ^-^

[ Sorry, I couldn’t answer this in-character, since I don’t treat them as being part of a ‘game’. But anyway--- I know absolutely nothing about RO steam. I have never heard anything about it. So I really can’t give you any sort of comparisons, help, or opinions. I only play on TalonRO. Thank you, though! I’m glad you enjoy the characters of this blog. ]

It’s not your problem if others follow your personal (or other) blogs and get spoiled. That’s entirely on them. These are your blogs, your characters. You deserve to have fun with them. Don’t let unreasonable people like that spoil your fun. They’re not worth it.

Thanks, anon. I just felt a little bad, because it wasn’t something that crossed my mind before. But like you said, I couldn’t have guessed that would happen or know that they were following me. And I was basically only posting/reblogging some cool commissions that I got. Anyway, thanks for the support! I’ll consider with the feedback and either make a second blog that’s set in the future or just try spoiler tags or something. Hopefully then if people don’t want to see that stuff, they have options to avoid it.

I might as well ask this question since it’s fresh on my mind with the message I received: How DO people who follow this blog feel about characters spoilers and content? Would you prefer to be surprised even if I never get to all the plot and character developments/backstories because I don’t even know how to approach most of it in a way that makes sense or do you like to see the content in general? Should I just keep the blog as it is? Expand into a second blog for the spoilery stuff? I don’t know. I’d like to hear your thoughts if you could take the time to share them with me. Feel free to send the answer in an Ask anonymously, if preferred.

i'm a little disappointed you spoiled some things for the characters on your personal blog. woulda been fun to find out.

I’m sorry? I mean, I haven’t reblogged or posted any of that stuff here, but I have a LOT of content and things I have written/drawn that I haven’t shared here or on my personal blog either, specifically to avoid the spoilers. I’m just pretty terrible at handling things like that. It’s hard to stay motivated for this blog and to take things slowly. I don’t even know how I’m going to get to like the dozens of important things that haven’t been discussed or touched upon (though sometimes alluded to in some Ask responses) yet. And I have a really hard time keeping up with huge projects. So yeah, I apologize. It’s just hard to keep things under wraps when I’ve already done so much with the characters in what would be a ways in the future for what happens on this blog. But I did keep it to my personal blog, anon. I didn’t post or reblog any of it on this blog (sans one piece long ago). I was very careful not to. But I’m sorry if you had some things spoiled. I can’t honestly say when I would have the motivation/inspiration and drive to really get this up and running again, though. And I don’t want that to keep me from having fun creating content with the characters that doesn’t require careful planning and reveals, but just lets me enjoy what I’ve created and concocted in my head (and in writing/etc) for years and have fun with it the way I want to. Again, I’m sorry, but... I just can’t take into consideration that some people might be following my personal blog and see art I commissioned or other things. I am flattered that you were invested in the content here, though. I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you. I just want to have fun with my OCs.

Let’s Play Ragnarok Online! [TalonRO]: #19: Magnus Extortionist 

Today, we take Yune (and Farona) to Glast Heim Churchyard to do a little character leeching! The Magnus Exorcismus skill (I was just making a pun in the title of this video—it’s not the real name, haha) is holy-property priest magic that does pretty dang good damage in the affected area, but takes awhile to cast without lots of expensive gears and high dex. Yune makes good use of it with some undead mobbing and by the end, little swordie Farona finally reaches Lord Knight ranks! Hurrah!

…Yune is still OP.
