-- Reformatting the blog theme - Posting refs to proper posts - reformatting cast / rules page into proper posts - as mentioned before, some older lore posts may be deleted for revamp. - reconfigure how relationships page / "jody's log" is kept and function. - probably more Apologies for the mini mass of OOC that'll be coming for a bit. Something I've been meaning to do (as ive done it for most of my blogs slowly over time)

Diane remains silent for a moment, almost tempted to bite her fingernails in the awkward silence. Diane sighs a bit Diane: They ended up taking her to the hospital and kept her under watch for about a week or two after that..... Nana visited her a lot and I tried too when I was free but... Diane:... It wasn't... great... seeing her like that... Seeing all the bandages on her... the rope bruise left on her neck it was just... Diane:.......I didn't enjoy seeing her that way... Yeah she was still alive technically but... you could barely tell.... she looked... tired I guess... I don't.... Diane looks over her shoulder a bit, making sure that Jody was busy with the puppy. She didn't want her sister to overhear what she was saying. After a moment, deeming that Jody was enough out of earshot, she continues to speak. Picking at her fingernails and avoiding eye contact. Diane:... It's always awkward to try and talk about when someone you know tried to... kill themselves... There is no... NON awkward way around it. Y'know? Diane: But it happened.... and it... wasn't.... great to see... It just.. wasn't great.. wasn't great at all..

Diane leans back in the lawn chair and stretches a bit She yawns and leans her face on one of her hands Diane: It was just so sudden, y'know? I mean Nana mentioned that Jody seemed down in the dumps but I don't know. She looked fine to me. She always seems off, how the hell was I supposed to know she was in that mindset? Diane: Freaked us all out a bit. I know Nana... wasn't the best for awhile... She eventually asked me to help Jody out more often. So she wouldn't be alone as much... Diane yawns once more, flicking her tail tip back and forth in discomfort. Diane: It's annoying, that's for sure. I don't like this whole "monster hunting" thing. I just wanna live a normal life. But I guess if it makes sure that it doesn't happen again... I guess it's what I gotta do. Diane: Just part of being a sister I guess. Diane takes out a nail file and begins gently filing some of her nails down, humming to herself quietly. However, across the yard, Jody remained still for a moment. Her hands clenched into fists. Posture stiff and unmoving. Tuffsie rolls around on the grass and gently bumps into the scrafty's leg. Quickly, the growlithe takes action and begins to playfully attack Jody's foot. The lizard's posture gets less stiff and she sighs. Gently crouching down to the puppies level and spinning the puppy around in a playful manner. (( gonna be real for a moment.

Rethinking some stuff on this blog and I think I might… delete some older lore stuff.

Wasn’t done in a way I wanted and >insert other various reasons<

And I don’t! Like it anymore. Didn’t like how it was done in the first place.

So. What does this mean? Why does this matter?

I’m just gonna delete some of the old stuff and merely pretend it never happened. And then redo is as I see fit.

Gonna try to cut corners in ways that won’t make it so I have to delete a million things… and will try to avoid cutting anything that would make other important posts absolute nonsense. May not be the smoothest but doing what makes me happy so there is that.

It’s either I delete those posts, pretend they didn’t happen and then do them again in a better manner…. Or I reboot the entire blog.

One option is gonna be hell of a lot more work SOOOOO gonna try the other way.

Anyways, just wanted to say that publicly so it’s out there lmao

TLDR; I don’t like how some old lore posts were done. I’m deleting them and pretending they didn’t happen. Gonna redo some stuff fresh and new. ))

Solo continues to scream and flail his arms around violently at your insane suggestion. He falls back into Diane's bed and shoves his beat red face into the blankets to let out a loud muffled scream of pure anger, continuing to slam his hands in anger into the bed. He is... clearly throwing a temper tantrum of some kind. This fact is not unheard by Nana, who can hear the young man screaming from the kitchen. Nana rubs her temples in mild irritation, hoping that maybe all this screaming will fizzle him out enough to coax him out of the bedroom calmly... Or at least allow her in there to inspect him. Nana grew worried over the boys condition. Scrafty did have thick skulls, it's one of the things they are known for.. But knowing that Jody probably didn't go easy on him, caused Nana some anxiety. Last night the boys pupils were even different sizes, which was the clear sign of a bad concussion. She desperately needed to inspect him and give him some proper treatment for it, if she was even able. Amongst Solo's continued screaming of anger coming from Diane's bedroom, Nana couldn't help but single out something he had said. A leg? "They took my leg"? Nana had noticed that the shiny scrafty did only have one leg... But wasn't aware that he probably came here with a prosthetic... Nana took a sip of her drink and leans against the counter, trying to ignore the sounds of smashing coming from the room. She would have to ask the sisters if they had seen Solo's prosthetic anywhere, maybe finding it would help ease the young man.

Watching the movie with the S/O and we determined that Jody could take TheNun in a fight. Like It’s on sight. Markiplier leap punches the Nun as soon as eye contact is made

Also during the movie, every time the monster appears on screen we go “hello TheNun” in a casual tone. So we think Jody would as well.

So how is a Pokémon able to keep another Pokémon as a pet?

(( I use general cartoon logic.

Using the “Sentient VS feral” situation.

I often try to exaggerate the “feral” Pokemon more. Like how a feral beedrill is legit bee sized and not 3 feet tall. A feral Scrafty is literally a little one inch lizard skittering under rocks. Etc etc.

Mickey Mouse is friends with Goofy but also owns Pluto. It’s weird! It doesn’t make a whole lotta sense!!

PLUS Pokemon canonically eat each other. Just how it is. But I don’t enjoy the aspect of having a more Anthro type Pokemon world where they would just? Casually eat each other while all being on the same sentience level 😭

Nana taps her fingers against the countertop a few more times, contemplating everything. She sighs and takes a sip of her coffee, leaning her back against the counter as she stares into the kitchen To be honest, she wasn't quite sure what she was going to do with the sisters. Or at least, how Diane would be punished. Nana knew that Jody was dragged along, so her punishment wouldn't really be as strict. But still, their punishments were the furthest things from her mind. The events at the beach still stuck in her head, looping over and over. The pure unsettling feeling that liepard gave her, how much he knew about them all... None of it sat well in the elder's stomach. Her head lifts slightly as she hears shuffling from another room. Right. The boy. As much as Nana wanted to do everything else, she knew this had to be dealt with first. She takes another sip of her coffee and sets it back down on the counter, making her way down the hallway towards Diane's room, where the boy was kept. Nana takes a deep breath in, knowing this wasn't going to be a easy situation to deal with, most kidnappings aren't easy to deal with. But deep down she hoped that the boy was too concussed to give a proper fight.

Nana backs away from the door as the shiny scrafty on the other side bangs his hands against it. Nana rubs her temples in frustration, she understood his anger but god if it wasn't inconvenient Nana: Sorry son but I can't let you out of there until ya calm down a bit. I promise that I ain't gonna hurt you. Solo: BULLSHIT! Nana: Now I know you have no reason to believe me, I get that. But if you keep freaking out on me, I'll have to have my daughter come in and wrestle you down. Solo backs away from the door suddenly in fear Solo:.... YOU DON'T MEAN THE SHORT EVIL ONE..... Nana: Yes. I mean the short evil one. I don't think she likes you very much and wouldn't have much a issue putting you into submission. Solo nervously bites his nails and backs away further into the room, sitting down on the bed. Nana leans against the doorframe with her arms crossed Nana: I just wanna make sure that your concussion hasn't gotten worse somehow and maybe give you some breakfast. I don't want you to be here just as much as you don't wanna be here. Nana: I just wanna get all this over with just as much as you do. I know you ain't got any reason to believe me, but I'm just bein honest with ya. I see no real point in lying to you. Solo remains silent, biting his nails nervously.

Nana sighs and moves away from the doorway, looking over her shoulder at the door as she makes her way down the hall Nana: I'll leave you be for now. But know that I WILL be in there soon to make sure yer head is okay. Small Information/Recap post

Since this blog has been going for.. a bit! I figured I would just plonk some stuff down > Full Chrono Tag < Read everything from the beginning! Summary so far-

Jody is a scrafty who is cursed with "Abigor's Courtship". A curse that binds a demon (known as Abigor) and a cursed book to her. She was given this curse by her father, as a traded deal to free his wife from it. She was kicked out (along with her sister, Diane) at a young age and eventually wound up living with Nana. The curse has several effects on Jody: She is bound to Abigor, a demon who uses her as he sees fit. The curse has essentially rendered her as dead and is trying to slowly rot her from the inside out. The only way for her to stay healthy and slow/prevent the process is by completing tasks set by the cursed book. The books tasks range from simple things to dangerous encounters with various monsters and myths. She has no control over what the book asks of her, she must simply do what she is told. She does these tasks usually with the help of her younger sister, Diane. Who does various things to aide her. During their last mission, they accidentally ended up kidnapping a civilian (Solo) Currently, Solo is being held prisoner until they can properly wipe his mind of everything he has seen. Meanwhile, Nana had a encounter with a mysterious figure known as RYAN, a member of a shady cult known as "The Priesthood". She has yet to warn Jody about them. AND THAT'S AS BASIC AS I CAN PUT IT.
