A strange ship arrives, clad in steel and so low to the sea that the waves just barely reach the deck. Massive in length, it trudges through the waters with a trailing billow of steam flowing from it's chimney. As odd as it was imposing, it flanked the smaller boat in an attempt to line up it's ramp to the doorway. An arcanine and umbreon were waiting on the other side, flanked by sailors who were carrying gift-wrapped cargo.

"Permission to board?" Asked the Umbreon...

What are some ideas and concepts that you scrapped for this blog?

I can't remember if i ever mentioned how this blog got a hard reboot of sorts. The plot/location was pretty much all different, and right now the thing that stayed the most same was... Percy. His whole character is still the same. The bitterest nerd homophobic homosexual you've ever met. You haven't really seen him in action right now but you will

The previous askblog setting was more of a meadow by the sea. It was gonna be revealed that the place is basically abandoned, Percy being the only one there aside from a few fae-like pokemon. It was all a mystery about how the moon had been in this state, causing the place to be in a perma-night that made non dark/fairy types sick. The locals had moved to underneath the sea to survive. There was some soft magic system with glowing aesthetics (as you can see the lillies on the field are giving off light) and how moon/solar power was valuable. There's some lore to do with typing retained but I'll keep off of that for the sake of spoilers

Adelaide hadn't existed til the hard reboot. Instead we had a whimsical, eccentric and somewhat.. mysteriously off putting Sylveon girlie here. It was gonna be revealed later she was responsible for the state of the moon and also was a lunala in disguised, who got lonely in her role and decided to abandon it to live a life of her own.

Twilight also technically didn't exist. Instead there was a Vaporeon by the name of Irving, kind of the deliveryman for Percy, and an estranged friend. They were way too timid to really confront percy's bitterness but that was part of the character development

I REALLY liked their design, though. It felt very close to canon but still had markings/uniqueness to it. So as you can see, I reused it for Twilight! In the tragic end though.. these three and their dynamic wasn't strong enough for me. There wasn't enough blunt challenges for Percy's attitude, but then i brought in Adelaide who is much more of an assertive force. I think Irving and the Lunala!Sylveon lives well in twilight though.

I'm sure there's more... In fact a lot more but I would be going on a while! Perhaps i'll be more extensive sometime, but thank you for asking!

i am open to munday this time! Just for a little fun because it's been a while. nothing special, so no pressure either.

my laptop also pooped itself worse lol. It was okay for a week and then it had the worst sudden power cycles so far last night. ah the woes and the misery. I'm at a loss at this point but I'll be able to draw still... just... i'll be on edge and it's likely ill lose progress a lot. but it'll be a two steps forward one step back deal.
