I’m ending this blog

I’ve had fun. This blog has done all the things I wanted it to do technically. I’ve learned the basics of visual story telling, improved my line-art and taught me a lot about colour. It’s also been fun to see familiar faces in the notes every post.

However, this blog is starting to hold me back. I’ve stopped making art studies, so while I’ve improved my line art, I’m starting to lag behind on other aspects, like shading and human anatomy. I also find it more stressful then enjoyable now, so I think it’s time I stop for my own sake.

If you want to follow me, you can find me on my main blog. I’m right now working on an original story featuring Celtic and fairy mythology. The art sucks right now but, now I have more time, It’ll probably improve drastically. I’ll probably post Sonic in the future as-well. The styles that some fan creators have made are really inspiring.

I don’t think I’ll delete this blog. I’m kind of a digital hoarder. I’m sorry to say goodby. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and asks you gave me :)

(Oh boi why did I agree to colours! Well, I hope sort of looks good. experimented with the Hard Light setting for shading. This comic is for improving my art so I guess I just gotta power through it.)

(Finally, Sonic is in this comic (in flash back)! He will appear eventually, along with other movie (and non-movie) characters. Anyway, we have officially ditched Shadow and the RP can get super fun/bum.)

I’m sorry Anon. The next few pages are gonna be plot heavy, and I felt like I needed to “clean the slate” to prepare for it. I also want to make it a tradition to remove inserts during plot stuff, since I don’t want too many of them clogging up the story (I do have an endgame). However, I can see how it probably sucked to have your insert explode as soon as the fave you were waiting for finally came back.

Don’t worry though. Like I said on the previous ask post: Tails is fine. The zap didn’t hurt him. He can be brought back at any time with an RP ask, like the ones you were doing before. The next arc will have lots of opportunities to RP with Blaze, and I honestly hope your there do to it. (I wish I could know who you are so I can tag you in this. I want to make sure you see this massage.)

Style consistency? What’s that? Anyway, like I said last post, I’m making this comic full colour from now on. I felt that the desaturated blue/gray was getting ugly and I wanted to play with lights and colours.

Sorry this took so long. I guess my body was like “It’s Christmas bitch, take a break!“ I'm happy that I did, but I can’t wait to get back to this blog.

I made a conscious effort to change Shadow’s robo-parts, since I’ve had people say that they look too much like guts and, yeah, they’re right. I hope they’re different enough now.

URGENT! I HAVE RAN OUT OF ASKS! PLEASE SEND MORE!!! 

( Finally! This one was exhausting. It took me two days to script this, hence why it’s a bit late. I tried to use up every ask I had in my inbox since we are moving to a new location and a lot of them are specific to the area.

Secondly, I would like to apologize to Tails-anon. I know you wanted to RP with Blaze but you’re gonna have to wait a bit. I did try to make a script with her being nice to Tails but it was way too out of character (she’s understandably a bit on edge right now). Fortunately, the next chapter will have a lot less Shadow and a lot more Blaze, so I’m sure her and Tails will have fun soon.

And don’t worry, Tails (probably) isn’t hurt. He’s in the space between worlds (or where ever you guys live).

Finally, I am here to say that, from now on, I’m making this blog FULL COLOUR! I’m using this tumblr as an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try new things (like line art and backgrounds). Colour I feel is the next step and eventually I would like to get to shadows. So the next post will be a character sheet. And maybe also a Christmas picture if I feel jolly. Merry Christmas everyone!)

Sorry for the massive amount of dialogue in this one. When I started scripting, the asks I had made this scenario perfect. I hope the formatting doesn’t put people off to much.

But yes. My ask box is now empty. The plot literally can’t go on without asks, so please don’t be shy. Ask them anything. I do try to fit in all the asks, even if it takes me a while :3 )
