Welcome one and all to the iridescent ocean. A beautiful beach paradise hidden away in the dimension of the entity only seen by those who stray too far from the campfire. Those who choose to wander may find themselves venturing into this strange realm of white sand beaches and bioluminescent waters. Be warned though… You may begin to adapt to the new environment in new and strange ways not yet seen in the realms the moment you enter those glowing waters.

Ok what is the iridescent ocean event?

The iridescent ocean event is the new (maybe) annual mermaid event for dead by daylight blogs and roleplayers!

Dates?

May 1st through June 1st. Basically think of it like a dbd rp blog wide mermay event.

Who’s running this shitshow event?

You may know me as survivor susie or daily cheryl or just Doe or Diana.

Will there be a discord?

Yes! The discord will be opened mid April (20th probably. This date is subject to change.)

Please note that I am a slow artist, the more difficult your commission is, the longer it is going to take.

Some of my favourite comm types to draw are coloured sketches with backgrounds, emotes & icons, and reference sheets! Some of my favourite things to draw are mlp, wacky monsters, DbD related stuff, and characters with wings!

Please note that I can decline taking a commission without reason and do not owe you an explanation (though I will likely give one anyway and will normally let you know if I feel I am not fit for the requested comm)

I offer discounts to my Patrons!! And also offer discounts for drawing characters that were adoptables from me.

If you'd like to commission me and aren't 100% sure what exactly you want, that's fine! Send me the ref of the character, and a short 1-2 sentence long description of their personality and I can do something with that! Of course, providing pose reference and stuff is greatly appreciated though and does tend to have the piece turn out better, but it's not necessary

Extra character pricing an additional character is +50%-75% of the original price

Let me explain if that's a little confusing

A fullbody flatcoloured sketch of a character is $35 If you would like a 2nd character that character would be +50% to 75% of $35

+50% would be for characters that are more obscured (like if they are hugging and the 2nd one's body is mostly covered by the 1st character)

+75% is for when the 2nd character is less obscured

So 50% of $35 is $17.50 so for a 2 character flatcoloured fullbody sketch it'd be $52.50

Here's a good example of the multiple character prices unless that's a little difficult to understand (I get it no worries man, hope I can help!)

This is a lined flatcoloured bust/halfbody The first character (on the left) would be full priced at $35 The 2nd character (on the right) would be +75% of $35, so $25.25 The 3rd character (in the middle) is more obscured so they'd be +50% of $35, so $17.50 So all together it would be 35 + 25.35 + 17.50= $77.85 Of course we could discuss a piece like this and depending on what you're wanting I can potentially give discounts so it could be cheaper, but that is wholy dependant on what you're looking for.

So originally I had just started doing adopts again because I was low on money these past few months and wanted some money to save for our FurEh trip with friends.

Well unfortunately life doesn't like to see us being proactive apparently because it decided to give us two great gut (and wallet) punches in the form of my car and our dog, Percy.

Percy was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease last month. I was able to cover his initial vet bills but the unfortunate part about kidney disease Is that there isn't a cure. We most likely have less than half a year left with him. And I want to be ready if things take a turn for the worse.

The money that is for him would be put aside for the inevitable and heart breaking future vet bills. For now he is still spry and doing okay so we are doing our best to spoil him and keep him happy with what time we have left.

My car also decided to go caput a little over a week ago, we had hoped we could repair it ourselves but we can't. For only Repairing the most important parts it will cost us around $1100 to get it drivable again. If we want to repair everything on the car it would be more like $3000.

So I am here unfortunately asking for help. If you can't donate money I completely understand. If you would still like to help, sharing this post would still help so much. Any money sent through this link, twitch streams, commissions, etc. will be going towards fixing our car, Percy’s vet bills and then, if somehow there is more left over (and if there is then holy cow, wow) It will go towards our trip to FurEh, I think we're really going to need it.

I am also working towards opening my commissions soon if you would like to help out that way, keep an eye out! And of course there are still the available adopts as well!

tl;dr Percy is in the late stages of an incurable disease and our car broke down, both of these are costly and any help is greatly appreciated! ❤️

SOME demons can fly *Finley turns around to show his wings F: But most demons can't fly, like me for example. Only high level demons and certain specialized demons can fly.

Finley: "My wings are pretty large, but for a demon they'd need to be bigger for me to be able to fly."
