THE  WORKSHOP  WAS  surprisingly  empty  except  for  the  lone  figure  sitting  at  one  of  the  tables  in  the  back  of  the  room.  the  table  had  books  spread  out  all  around  it;  some  books  were  big  tomes,  some  were  small  journals,  and  some  as  small  as  only  a  handful  of  pages.  the  young  man’s  form  was  hunched  over  as  he  eyes  scanned  passages  from  two  separate  books.  it  wasn’t  until  he  noticed  someone  standing  at  his  table  that  remus  looked  up,  “oh  hey.”  he  said,  tone  cheerful,  “WHAT  ARE  YOU  UP  TO?”

                         it ought to come as no surprise by now that if there was no other place imaginable ( and sirius had quite the imagination when it came to his friend ) where he might find the studious grisha boy with a tendency to be reclusive,     then sirius had to look no further than the workshop.     even at impossible hours of the day.     he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the boy,    even as he approached his bench with practiced nonchalance,     his posture and his limbs arranging themselves in such a way that he looked both bored and purposeful.     ❛    i think the question of what are you up to is more pertinent in this case,     don’t you think?    ❜     turning around with his back to the edge of the table,     sirius used his arms to pull himself up.     ❛    missed you.     at dinner.    and -    ❜     he made a vague gesture with his hand.      ❛   everywhere else.     surely these books can wait until tomorrow.    ❜
