I didn’t even know it was possible for a symbiote to be fat...

We didn’t know that either. The LIFE Foundation genetically modified him so that his metabolism was drastically slowed down. Delta and I don’t know what to do to fix it so he has to live with it. He doesn’t seem to mind at all. He isn’t unhealthy or anything.

Basically he acts as a reusable MRE for normal adult symbiotes that are attached to hosts and cannot find prey to eat. They simply ingest them and spit them out when the nutrients are sucked out like a sponge. Sorta like a piece of gum. He gets skinny afterwards then gets fat again after eating a ton of food.

I plan to research it more once I get back into the facility we found him in. I’m unsure if he can bond to anyone but if he can, he may have so much stamina that he may be unable to stop. A lot of potential is housed in that little guy.

Hola Delta, small question for ya: what was life like once you found your host? Did you find anything strange?

Lacking in the picture department, we will come up with a new image soon.

Well seeing as my host is not human (she is a two tailed silver fox kitsune), I have found that she does have a few strange habits. Although having to use a glamour effect to appear more human in public and having heat cycles is stranger than one may think, nothing else seems to be out of the ordinary.

We did pick up a small little symbaby who needed our help. His name is Fang and he was rescued from an abandoned facility. He is the strongest out of many others in the abandoned LIFE foundation facility and has become a glorified house pet. We do watch over the others by feeding them little morsels and making sure they are well cared for.

Regardless, we live in a nice place and...

Life has never been sweeter.

Look at him. He did so well for himself!

Gamma, along with 3 other symbiotes (Alpha, Beta, and Delta), were forcefully extracted from an unknown symbiote in The Life Foundation.  Unlike most symbiotes in The Foundation.  These 4 symbiotes were not forced into maturity.  Although they were still to be experimented on.  Of the 4 Symbiotes, Gamma was ment to be the control subject.  No experiments were to be done to him.  Gamma still witnessed the experimentation on and torture of his 3 siblings and many other symbiotes.

While still young, Gamma devised a plan of escape.  He’d play dead until some one entered his cell.  Then he’d bond and take control of them, then bound for the exit.  His plan only some what worked.  he did escape but not with a host under his control.  when the scientist discovered Gammas “dead” body they did send some one in to remove his body.  Unfortunately the man who entered was wearing a full suit of anti-symbiote tech.  Meaning he couldn’t bond to the man.  The man through him into a small vacuum tube and just trough the tube into the dumpster .  From there he was moved with the trash to a local dump where he stayed alone for weeks.

Until some one came along.  A human male who was scavenging the dump for tech to tinker with.  When the human came along to Gammas tube, he instantly opened it.  Gamma attempted to bond with this human, but realized he couldn’t.  For this human all ready had a symbiote.  This humans name is Peter and his symbiotes name is Drake.

Peter and Drake knew exactly where Gamma came from.  As they had past experience with The Life Foundation.  Drake explained who they where to Gamma and told him they could help. Gamma happily agreed.  So Pete and Drake too Gamma back to their apartment and explained to Peters boyfriend Vernon and his symbiote Eerie  how they found Gamma.  Pete wanted to keep Gamma but Vernon, Eerie, and Drake all insisted that they had to find a trust worthy host for Gamma.  Peter eventually agreed to getting Gamma a host.  Vernon knew just the person, Me!

Vernon was and old friend of mine.  So when he called me up and said he needed a favor of me.  I was all too happy to help.  When I got to Pete and Vernon’s apartment, they explained symbiotes to me and asked if I could host one that Pete had “found in the dump”.  after some questions, I agreed to host Gamma.  So that’s how we met.

Update: More information has just been uncovered about Delta.

What is now known is she was extracted from an unknown adult symbiote along with three others (Gamma, Beta, and Alpha). They were left to grow on their own instead of forced to mature but the torture was still there. Tissue samples were taken and she had been starved whenever she misbehaved.

What was worse is that unlike her siblings, she is the only one to have been genetically modified. Still agender, she is now able to reproduce sexually. Whether she wants to be male or female doesn’t matter. It depends on the host. Whoever she full suits over will depend on how she breeds. More symbiotes were going to be genetically modified this way but she escaped before it could happen. Now she is the only one who can do this. She can take DNA from anyone in order to grow a symbiote and spawn it.

Standard symbiote abilities do apply if you are familiar with them. She also has ice abilities that are quite similar to Elsa from Frozen (don’t call her Elsa though. She hates it.). A resistance to fire is there but not complete. A slight resistance to high frequencies when she freezes herself in ice.

Delta, the symbiote who belongs to Miko, is not easy to get along with. She’s angry with how the LIFE Foundation treats symbiotes and churns them out like a puppy mill. It disgusts her and she’s determined to put an end to it as she finds symbiote babies to be rather endearing to her which is unusual for an adult symbiote that’s been bonded. Having been bonded to a kitsune (which in Marvel context would most likely be an alien), her power had grown exponentially and, with that, her need to destroy the foundation. Delta has a soft spot for children and babies but a huge fear of humans. If they are deemed good, she will approach with caution. Her host will assist with that.

Update: The LIFE Foundation has files on what they had done to him in terms of his body structure and his DNA. It has come to my and Delta’s attention that while pumping out symbiotes in their facilities like a puppy mill, they planned to make symbiotes that are unable to bond and use them like living food rations that can be reused. Think of MREs that are given to military units as a quick meal. Fang was going to become a living MRE for others when food is scarce and symbiotes bonded to hosts that are used as weapons by the Foundation were on the hunt for those that opposed them. With a quick chew (like gum) or sucked on like a sponge then promptly spit out, he could give an adult symbiote the nutrition they require without killing if food sources are low. ---- The ability to bond is actually there but without a human host in sight, it is undetermined if he actually can bond with them. Tests that the Foundation had done with him using animals had proven successful. Tests on humans have not been considered. ---- His DNA is ever changing, damaged but adapting so it’s undetermined what else this little symbiote could possibly be hiding. There are many seeds deep within that were never harvested so who knows what Fang could spawn in terms of offspring. He’s strong and has incredible potential. This is the little one, Fang. He does not have a host currently but he will within due time. The art is done by @hoodnot.

He cannot bond due to having been experimented on by the LIFE Foundation. His metabolism is slow and if he is to bond, he has to learn how to do so slowly. He can, however, live outside of a vacuum chamber for long periods of time. Basically he is on par with being a glorified housepet that will eat anything and become overweight if you let him.

He is able to hypnotize using his colorful body to draw in prey and he has a second set of jaws like that of a moray eel. Think of him as a combination between a gulper eel, moray eel, and a gulper catfish who makes the noises of a dog and a cat.
