You always talk about being a warrior in your past, did you partecipate in some kind of war? You're too quiet about it, did you dishonored your order? Did you escape from it on purpose? You're keeping too many secrets around, warrior.

Cloud gives you an angered gaze. He's not happy to recall things. Most of them are locked behind so many blurred memories... it hurts.

"There's no order... it was all chaos. I don't want to remember. They hurt me so much for being a disappointment. I didn't want to be there, I didn't want to fight... but which alternative did I have? I could either kill the enemy... or kill who I was in the process. I chose the second option... now I regret it"

What is this about the tumblr staff wanting to sell art data to midjourney?

An ex-colleague of mine mentioned yesterday that there may be contacts between Automattic and midjourney in that direction, but nothing is public yet and I don't have any more info. They probably won't have anything specific to share either, since they left the company weeks ago too. That being said:

I have no reason to doubt my ex-coworker word, they are a trustworthy person.

Tumblr's CEO has been absurdly enthusiastic (comically, even) about AI, and is a big fan of LLMs and 'AI' companies.

A deal with midjourney could solve tumblr financial issues (not the same company, but openAi is paying up to 5 million/year to news companies to use their content as training data... tumblr generates several orders of magnitude more content than any newspaper or any media company and it only would need a 20 to 30 million per year deal to be profitable)

So I don't have any extra info yet, but I'm keeping my ears open.

- But! Cloud doesn't like strangers, so there's a high possibility he would either hide or wouldn't be polite. Either way, better not to be approached.

- Raki doesn't really care about the appearance, as long as Skelmersdale is neutral at least, he should be good with interactions. He's more focused on his partner though.

- James, as stated many times, stays in the library so there's a really low chance those two meet unless James is out of his workplace. Still, he may look vulgar or weak, but he won't fear to wreck things if the situation gets tense. If Skelmersdale is nice, then James will be glad to help with whatever he needs as long as it's related to wisdom (AKA don't ask James to take care of someone, or check for others) ]]
