not the best day, i got kind of emotional. but i finished norwegian wood and i love murakami so much. i wish i could absorb his books and just have them in my cells.

grabbed lunch with a friend and got some exercise (since i've been locked at my desk for days now)

did day 5 of my pilates challenge

i haven't posted in a while! quite some things happened in the meantime: i took my last exam, struggled with my thesis and went for a small trip. i am now back to...stuggle even more with my thesis. 😐

to keep myself from going insane i have decided to pick up german and hungarian again! will see how that goes.

less than a month until the start of the spring semester...

also, i changed my username! maybe i should've started my post with this announcement lol.

I feel like I didn't really have a weekend but at least I got a lot of things done and also spent some time outside. The weather was wonderful, it really felt like spring... Finished writing my last paper, now it's only editing, prepared my classes, wrote a report,... And fell asleep sitting on the Hollywood swing in my garden.

04.03.24// had been really busy lately, but i'm making a progress on my phd research which is great!! also, i've finished the ninth house yesterday (it was my third attempt actually) and i absolutely loved it - guess once you hit that 50 pages mark, you just can't put that thing down!

writing every day in march // day two

went to a tiny parish town for lunch with my grandparents - mesmerised by the mist and moss and brambles, which will definitely seep into my WIP

wrote a little, but feeling very unsure of myself and i have a whopping sinus headache so it’s very hard :(

talked to my partner about my self doubt and they said they look up to me because of my dedication, which made me feel better

life lately is gloomy days and early mornings. studying for boards is a bit more stressful than i’d imagined, not because of all the material i need to review, but more because im struggling to build up the stamina for an 8 hour exam (it’s been years since i last took one and im significantly more exhausted at this point in my life than i was then). but nothing i can do but continue working! still making time for art and friends to keep myself in a good mental space and continuing to try my best :-)
