He didn’t like the bounty hunter. He didn’t trust him. He only ever needed to hear his reputation in order to get that far, but it wasn’t like Archangel’s was that much better.
“Is that what you do then, Fett? The wrong thing for the greater good?”
He made a noise of acknowledgement and eyed the Turian before him with a raised brow that was concealed behind his helmet. Slowly the man stepped down the stairs from Aria’s little eye in the sky and began his approach towards the bar.
“I go where the money calls me, and I don’t think that is the wrong thing. But on particularly troublesome nights, yes. I will tell myself that is the case. The same way people like Shepard and I imagine even yourself go about.”

“Your guess is as good as mine, I only get to see him every few months. But seeing as these leftovers are fresh, I’d say we just missed him, and he might be on his way back… Ah, there they are,” she smiled in finding some booze, flicking the cap off and offering the bounty hunter a bottle.
“But you’ll be gone before that, won’t you?” A chuckle left her at his condolence, “Nah that place ended up being a horrible fit for me, now I’m free to do as I please.”
A brow raised at the bottle being offered, raising a dismissive hand towards the woman. Perhaps the only time the bounty hunter didn’t drink would be on the job - despite how tempting it would be. “I think we both know that I don’t intend on leaving without speaking to your.. partner?” He asked quizzically before shaking his head once more. One thing Fett often did was let his guard down in the presence of women, and this would be that case. Gloved hands slowly equipped the rifle back onto his back while he rendered her no longer a threat. “I can pay you handsomely if you were to call him and bring him here promptly.”

Fett hummed low in thought as he listened to the woman, chewing on the inside of his cheek as he contemplated on what to respond with. “You’re not a c o m p l e t e fool, if that is any recollection. You tried your best, no? Did you learn from your past, I suppose that is the most important thing. I’ve done a handful of things, maybe even more than what I am willing to outwardly admit, that I find myself to be foolish but I learned thanks to the help of my former partner that sometimes we have to be fools in order to progress in this silly thing called life.” A pause. “Ahh, feel free to ignore that advice. It sounded better in my head.”
