I think what the original post is trying to get at is some sense of subjective equality, not the sense of objective superiority that the Church has always defended (although I don't know the post does a good job).  For someone called to marriage, what is best for them is to be married and to be so in a godly way, seeking to bring one's husband or wife and children closer to God, and to allow oneself to be made holier by the presence of one's husband or wife and children. It would not be subjectively superior for a man who is called to the married life to pursue the path of the priesthood (and I would suggest not objectively superior either insofar as it would be against the will of God).  The objective superiority applies to the vocational office, and the person of the religious only insofar as he or she manifests that vocation - not that immoral living impinges on the validity of the Sacraments (i.e. Donatism). tl;dr - Objective superiority does not mean we should all pursue religious life, as it seems clear that different vocations are each critically important and possess some equality of dignity (in the sense of being morally right and just before the Lord), although the religious life attains a higher level of perfection.  (I think there was a better word than equal that the OP could have used, but I can't think of one at the moment).
They’re different-
Single Laity: Giving yourself wholly to God and His work on Earth.
Religious Life: Giving yourself wholly to God and His Church.
Married Life: Giving yourself wholly to God, your spouse, and your family.
But equal-
Single Laity: Using your...

This past year, I was privileged to celebrate a Passover seder with some close friends during Holy Week. It was both a reminder of the persistence of the faith
A good reminder (hopefully) about the day to day of the spiritual life, and a lesson from our Jewish brethren.

"A young husband should say to his bride: ‘I have taken you in my arms, and I love you, and I prefer you to my life itself. For the present life is nothing, and my most ardent dream is to spend it with you in such a way that we may be assured of not being separated in the life reserved for us.’

I CHALLENGE YOU TO A BATTLE OF WITS
The game is this: I set up five pairs of identical looking shots: pineapple juice or lemon juice, Chinese sugar tea or apple cider vinegar, flat coke or soy sauce, water or distilled white vinegar, and tomato juice or Tabasco sauce.
I challenge a player in the circle to a color. They pick one and I take the other, with our best poker faces. Other players have to guess who got what.
It’s like the Princess Bride/A Study in Pink but no one gets poisoned!
