And another personal OC wip for a piece that's been rattling around in my head for years-

Maya gets mysteriously transported to another world but there's a catch: she looks exactly like the evil queen who sits upon the throne - and everyone wants to kill her! Thankfully, she's rescued by an equally mysterious dragon boy...but he also has a problem: everyone wants to kill him too!

Well not 'everyone', and not only to kill...but they both have a ton of problems xD Now Maya has to figure out a way to return home and also to save the life of the boy who saved hers...what'll happen to our two struggling heroes...? And are they even the heroes of this world they're fleeing?

Just wanted to send a belated Merry Christmas, happy holiday season and New Years to everyone! ^^/

I'll be updating the waiting list and commission lists soon, but also I wanted to thank everyone for your incredible patience, generosity and support over the years. I sincerely appreciate it!

I don't know if I followed up my previous post about my health, but here's the update:

In the summer of '22 I had another major health episode (in a long string of them since 2015 lol), put my twitch streaming on hiatus, and had to slow down in pretty much all areas of my life, especially as my arms were starting to give way. I also got hit with a range of symptoms related to autonomic dysfunction. However, I found a local physiotherapist who has loads of experience working with HSD and it's amazing the change that can happen when you finally feel heard by a healthcare professional.

Before I was struggling to walk, climb stairs, bend my back or hold my body upright at the desk. But thanks to a year of hard work I can now walk for 15-30minutes consistently without needing to rest, and I can even stand in place for around 5-10 minutes before becoming dizzy! My knees and hips aren't rattling around and subluxating, which is great, and we made progress on my sacroiliac that subluxated during the pandemic and limited my range of motion. Now for '24 we're shifting focus to the major issue with my back. I've no doubt it'll take a long time to work on it but we're starting by building strength in my shoulders and I am really hopeful for the future. I even enjoy exercising now I have proper guidance. >w<9

I know it seems like a lot but all of this directly impacts my work since it limits how much time I can spend in one position before my body tires or a fatigue/pain flare is triggered. I take a lot of care and passion in every piece I paint, because I love to paint, but it does mean I have to be diligent pacing myself, so everyone's patience, support and consideration means a lot to me. 🌸

I also hope that if you're in the same boat struggling with an invisible illness this might resonate a little. You're not alone, and people are more willing to help and show kindness than you realise.
