So, today marks the 1 year passing of one of my best friends, @kincordell and my Dog, Sasha. I've taken the year off social since then to try to get my mind right... It's been tough. However, today is also the release of a pretty amazing visual that we had the pleasure to create for #PnBRocK. Go watch the video on YouTube and you'll be seeing more of me on social. You know... As a black man in America, I have often been put in a position by police where I have had to consider that I may be killed at this very moment. It's a feeling that I have to carry everyday in the country I call home... The country I'm supposed to love...but when I see fellow "Americans" (I use that term loosely because as far as I'm concerned, they are domestic terrorists) storm the nation's house and desecrate it in such a manner with the explicit goal to disenfranchise and destroy the votes of Americans... And they were met with one gun shot, 4 civilian deaths, the death of a Capitol Officer, and not nearly enough arrests... How am I supposed to feel when I'm threatened to be jailed or killed because some white person said I had a gun #TrueStory P.S. Thank you all for the well wishes. I believe they've been giving her strength to want to fight longer but Sasha is starting to lose the will to eat. She stopped eating dog food a week ago so I've been cooking all of her meals since then, but yesterday she didn't want to eat much and today isn't looking much better. She's kind of shivering today but she likes to look outside so I gave her a blanket but she has a fever and she had quite a bit of trouble walking this morning. The growth is continuing to leak but it hasn't burst, however fluid is building in her leg and around the other growth that's outside of her lungs. Update on Sasha: she's made it through the week. The huge growth has started leaking from her doggie nipples so that kind of slowed its growth in size because the pressure is less.... However, I have to keep the area clean constantly and it's still growing in to her left leg. She can still walk with a limp at the moment. She started succumbing to her condition during the weekend but she's fighting it now. Trying to find out if chemotherapy will shrink the growth at all. At the moment, all of her organs are fine. Well, I have some pretty sad news... This very well may be Sasha's last weekend alive. I've been dealing with a fight with cancer for her and it appears that she may lose that battle this weekend. My baby girl is going on 11 years old... It would be a blessing if she could at least make it to her Birthday... But that is looking unlikely.
