I am a chronic turn signaller. People will be like “there’s no cars around.” Wrong, I’m
1. letting pedestrians know.
2. I’m doing this in case I missed a car or person somewhere, or
2b. I’m gonna be stuck at this intersection til a car or person shows up
3. It makes it a habit

When I first donated to PCRF in December 2023, it was barely 10% close to its goal. Now in March 2024, they're also 100%. Everyone of you has helped support a better future for Gaza.
They're so close to their goal. Please donate or share this post so that they can get to their goal🇵🇸

What a fun and whimsical show! I sure do hope nothing bad happens-

I think the AIDs quilt may be the most harrowing image of the AIDs Crisis there is to me, just seeing pictures of it sends shivers down my spine. Every single tile was a life that was taken too early by an apathetic world and yet there were people who cared enough for them to make the quilt to carry on their memory. It is honestly one of the most beautiful and meaningful pieces of art of the last 50 years to me

wake up sheeple !! the notion that katara is the overbearing, responsible member of the group was a lie peddled by Big Toph to distract from the fact that the actual overbearing, responsible member of the group (sokka) also happens to be her favorite.

I stole this from Facebook a bit ago for "there are less rules than you think," because it reminds me of my student morale project in college: I added a bunch of house plants and blankets to the science department to make the student spaces comfier and less sterile in aesthetic (black and white furniture, white tile floors, white painted walls). Everyone was like "Can you do that???" And I was like 🤷‍♀️ bet there's no specific rule against it. At worst, it's littering. Like literally the worst anyone will do is throw the stuff out or find me and tell me to take it all away, so why not try? In the end, people got so attached to the plants and blankets that they worried they would all leave when I graduated, so I put out an application for a plant caretaker to succeed me. Whole thing continued on after I left, and while I was there, students constantly told me how much the plants improved their day. My crowning achievement was overhearing someone say they'd rather study in the science department than their department because it was so much cozier in there.
So, do the thing. If you can't fathom a rule against it, odds are there isn't one.
And if you want to be extra sure? Do a little research. Google it. Read rule books. Read policies. Check, and if there really is no rule against it, go forth and do something slightly weird like guerilla interior decorating your college department.
