They then hired and decided to share ownership with Clint and Natasha who work the café and help hire people. Very passionate about his business and absolutely loves working there.

Clint Barton: Has a Youtube channel with Bucky where they posts storytimes, vlogs, and other random videos of them just having fun and being idiots. After he and Bucky add the café to the flower shop a coffee place reached out to them and he now has his own coffee flavor and brand. Natasha works the café with him after he couldn’t figure it out by himself.

I love how Isaiah's story so identically matches Steve, experimented on and being successful, breaking rules to save fellow soldiers, used as a tool. The core difference being the color of their skin. Steve was white, and went down as a hero in history. Isaiah was black and the same actions that made Steve loved and honored were criminalized. Isaiah was instead stuck in a cell, tortured, and left for dead basically, presumed dead. This is very real, think about white people being called survivors when scavenging after a natural disaster and black people being called looters in the same situation. This isn't just a plot point. It would be amazing if people can come away from this show with a bit more understanding.

So from what I understood (please correct me if I'm wrong) is that when the rest of his team were held as hostages, Isaiah Bradley went out there to get them back. He put his life on the line to save his men, even though there were explicit directions against doing so. He did so because they were his brothers and friends.

He was tortured, experimented on and jailed. He was erased.

Except, that's exactly what Steve Rogers did in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Steve was pardoned. He went illegally to Austria to rescue his team and he was treated like a hero. He wasn't insulted and had his history erased- he was glorified. He was given a medal. He was remembered, and that act went on to show as a reminder of how noble and good he was.

Isaiah Bradley didn't receive the same treatment.

And I hope you think about that.

Notice how Walker assumes Bucky is in charge of Sam?

Sam is taking charge, telling Walker to stand down (like he has been this whole episode) and Walker tries to undercut him by asking Bucky if Sam is allowed, essentially, to lead.

Bucky's face says it all. Sam isn't his partner--he's his Captain.

Just because John Walker’s best friend and girlfriend are black doesn’t mean he doesn’t have racial prejudice or doesn’t commit micro aggressions.

It’s very evident in the way he acts like Bucky is in charge of Sam and constantly dismisses him. And also the way he disrespected the Dora Milaje touching Ayo without permission, calling their weapons pointy sticks and telling them they don’t have jurisdiction in Latvia as if he, an American, should have any.

Steve Rogers: a product of the New Deal. Optimistic. Hates bullies. Wants to build relationships and work with people to do the right thing.

John Walker: a product of the War on Terror. Cynic. Is a bully. Wants to tear down problems. Has tunnel vision on what he thinks of as the immediate problem. Cannot stand the idea that he's not the strongest and smartest person in the room.

Sam Wilson: product of America's war on black people. Medic. Social worker. Wants to heal the world.

One of these men is not like the other.

 Something I think needs to be discussed is how john walker kept calling Sam Bucky’s partner. Just like he called Sam Steve’s wingman. This is meant to bring Sam down, to make it seem as though Sam Wilson cannot handle himself. “You’re going to let your partner into a room with a super soldier?” It shows us that John thinks that Sam is nothing without Steve Rogers or Bucky, which isn’t true.

Sam had control of the situation before Walker interrupted and tried to arrest Karli. Sam brought a knife to a gunfight and won. Sam faced Brock Rumlow by himself and won. Sam Wilson is more than capable of taking care of himself, and Bucky knows this, “He’s dealt with worse.”

John hated the idea of Sam taking control so much that he manipulated Bucky and made him worry about Sam. “Your partner needs backup in there. Do you really want his blood on your hands?” Sam is the only person that Bucky has left (even though he doesn’t treat Sam the way he should). John knew that Bucky would blame himself if something were to happen and he used that as an advantage so that he would have control of the situation, and not Sam.

It shows how little John thinks of Sam by constantly downplaying how important Sam actually is. He REFUSES to realize that Sam is just as powerful and important as Steve and Bucky, and tries to sideline him as being a sidekick and it fucking pisses me off.

John Walker getting a best down from the Dora Milaje wasn't just great television or even "fan service". There a lot going on in that scene which will be dissected just below

The Dora enter the scene when John Walker has just threatened Sam. One of them throws a spear into a beam between them, protecting Sam who is obviously didn’t want to fight.

So John Walker started the fight by threatening a Black man who helped defend Wakanda. #WinterSpoilers

John’s behavior toward the Dora is insulting and passive aggressive & FILLED WITH MICRO AGGRESSIONS (Like when he referred to their spears as "pointy sticks). He touches Ayo without her permission in a gesture that white men often claim is friendly but is actually a condescending way they assert their authority and power over others, especially women.

YOU DO NOT PUT HANDS ON A BLACK WOMAN WHOM YOU ARE PAINFULLY UNFAMILIAR WITH. It is not cute neither is it an ice breaker. Just F*cking DON'T ✋🏾🚫🛑

We’ve seen John uses that gesture before, along with his nonchalant “aw shucks” act before. At this point we, the audience, should be aware that it is a mask that covers calculated violence and can’t be reasoned with. Ayo sure sees it. #WinterSpoilers

Which makes it very interesting to see so many people cast the Dora as aggressors in this situation. It shows how much we’ve internalized white supremacy that we see a white man we know to be dangerous threaten a Black man but frame Black women as the aggressors.

PS I understand that by virtue of how the fight scene is filmed it looks like the Dora, Ayo especially, have lethal intent. But if anything the fight demonstrates that if the Dora Milaje want someone dead he would be dead. They left those men alive. 🤷🏽‍♀️

And by returning the shield, they demonstrated that John Walker was of ZERO THREAT to them.

The Dora Milaje showed restraint and more importantly, class.

For those of you idiots saying "Don't make it about race", I say screw you. This show if anything shows how America views itself as the altruistic saviour when in truth they're little more than soiled cattle muddying & soiling everything they touch.

They had a black super soldier who gave everything for his country. He was jailed, experimented on and tortured for it. Captain America was glorified and hailed as the world's greatest hero for pretty much the same thing.

The bitterness in Isaiah's voice and Sam's anger and the cop scene right after.

That was a heavy, heavy scene and I'm glad they didn't sugarcoat it in any way. Because the reality of it is that, if you're not white, you're going to be held to a different standard. A different set of rules. And it always, always ends badly
