Vox Machina has taken over my life so here's a sketch dump. As you can see perc'ildan and Vexleth are my favorite ships (though a group poly would be absolutely amazing), and a little sketch of everyone's favorite vampire daddy, Sylas.

Therapy
((Trigger warning suicide idealisation)
"Do you ever have suicidal thoughts or tendencies, Ms Sinclaire?"
Rose was ordered to see a Psychiatrist due to to many failed missions. She was quoted "unstable." So here she is sitting in an overly white office- that smelled too much like antiseptic- being diagnosed.
She hated being a test subject for some shrink to analyze.
"Sinclaire? Do you or do you not have suicidal tendencies?" Or thoughts, was left unsaid because truth be told this wasn't just about intrusive thoughts but more so on her impulsive actions that are borderline suicidal.
She frowned losing herself to a memory.
-----
Rose leaped from a burning building as it exploded behind her. She reached out but missed the helicopter's landing gear by a inch. She started to fall, the speed increasing with each second.
//Reaver, in position for extraction//
The wind whipped across her face as she watched the helicopter get smaller and smaller. She felt serene in that moment, time slowed to a crawl.
Nothing but white noise, the feeling of being weightless. The feeling of no stress, no pain. No expectations. Just freedom. Shutting her eyes, she waited for the impact.
//Use the fucken grapnel, Sinclaire!//
--------
Rose came too from the memory, hands twisting together with nerves.
"Not going to lie to you doc, at times I do think about it.."
That was an understatement.
--------
//ROSE!//
The voices in her earpiece turned more and more frantic, turning into incoherent buzzing in her head.
Closer and closer the ground came rising up to meet her.
Within the last two feet, she got tackled by Spades- one of her teammates. They barrel rolled across the concrete floor. Spades used his body to soften the blow.
He towered over her pissed off. His blue eyes were ablazed, shining bright with a smokey black glow fueled by his emotions.
"What the fuck were you thinking?"
Rose stared shocked to have 'the devil in black' direct his anger at her. To have any of her close friends genuinely furious at her, had her reevaluate her impulses.
She was ashamed, and somewhere deep down, a part of her that she desperately wanted to ignore was vastly disappointed.
"I.. dont know..."
-----------
The psychiatrist held her digital notepad close, writing a few things down.
"But its not like i'll act upon those temptations..."
The doctor looked up at that in curiosity.
"Im curious as to why you chose to use the term 'temptation' as opposed to 'unwanted' or 'uncontrollable'. Would you like to elaborate more on that? Why do you think it's a temptation?"
"Because that's the only way to stop it.."
The young psychiatrist blinks, trying to understand what that meant.
Rose curled in on herself, something bad festering inside her.
"Stop what?"
Rose closes her eyes shut trying to block everything and everyone out. Trying so hard to just melt away, be anywhere else than here.
Trying to stop the darkness from consuming her.
"Ms sinclaire? Stop what?"
To stop what I truly am.

Children Recruits
"What the hell is this!" Rose charged through the entrance of Akumu's private office, almost breaking the door off its hinges. She stopped in front of a large desk, her eyes a blaze towards the hulking figure sitting on the chair.
Akumu didn't pay her any mind, not surprised by these antics, and continued to calmly read through reports and files from his other assassins.
"Mind your tone, Scarlette. And those are the new recruits. Did you not read the files?" His eyes shifted from the paper he was reading to Rose, a tired look upon his face.
"Yes, I read them! Why are they KIDS? I will not train literal children to be killing machines." Rose couldn't keep her anger in check, her voice echoing outside the office. It annoyed Akumu how brash Rose can be. No matter how many times he tried to "train" it out of her, she was still the same.
"They have potential in their abilities. Besides, they are all orphans. They had no purpose until I offered one to them, and they took it. They were willing." Akumu waved her accusations away, as if he was just handling a child throwing a tantrum.
"They are children they don't know what we do or have enough experience to even make this decision!" She wasn't going to be the reason why these children go out there and get themselves killed.
"You did," that snapped her out of her thoughts, "when I started training you. When i had offered you the same deal," She clenched her hands into fists, "you took it."
"... I lost my father to a demon who forced me to kill people against my will, oh, and my mother is a monster. But, yeah, great choice I made." She spit out. Every word felt like acid. She tensed up as Akumu sighed deeply. He moved to rub his temples, a headache coming on.
"I am still your father whether you want to accept it or not.. as for your mother, we've already discussed that. It'll take a few more sessions to recreate her as she was. She will be back with us, I promise." Rose was taken back by the soft look in Akumu's eyes when he spoke of his wife. In a way, Rose was unirrationally jealous of it. That softness has never reached his eyes when it was aimed at her, even when he was in a good mood.
"But, if you don't want to train them fine. Tara has been looking for an opportunity to be promoted. I'm sure she's mentioned it's your position she's applying for, yes?" Akumu knew he hit a nerve when he saw that crease on her eyebrow. He leaned back on his office chair, intertwining his fingers together on top of his crossed legs; the look of professional superiority.
Rose wanted to wipe that arrogant look off his face.
When Akumu realized Rose wasn't going to reply, he kept going. Kept pushing.
"She believes you aren't cut out for the position. You've gotten soft, left to many witnesses, and she wants to prove her worth... I've been considering it." He mentioned it so casually as if it wasn't something Rose had to prove her own worth over and over again for.
Rose's flame died out. Her resolve crumbled by that new information.
// Knowing Tara, those kids won't last a week under her care.. I can't let that happen to them.. if that means playing the role of a good dog, then-//
"-fine.."
"What was that? Speak up I did not train you to mumble." He heard every word.
"I said fine! I'll mentor them..." Rose swallowed her pride. It burned all the way down to the pit of her stomach.
"Good girl. I knew we'd come to a compromise. Now leave my office before I have you escorted out."
Akumu picked up a pen and started going through documents again in a show of ignoring Rose, but really, he was relishing in that self loathing look on her face and the power he felt placing her back on her shelf.
In the end, nothing was resolved, and Rose felt more defeated than ever.

Caught
(Akumu doesnt do blackmail)
Rose sat bolted down and chained onto a steel chair, powered by old alchemy. She watched the figure pace back and forth.
"I'm telling you right now that you're wasting your time."
"Quiet."
Darkeethus paces more, tossing things around and muttering to himself. Rose was a bit concerned for the mental state of this man.
"Getting his attention this way never works. Trust me. We will be sitting here for weeks, months even. He doesn't do blackmail."
He grabbed her by the hair and pushed her head down, cranning her neck, and pulling the chains taunt by the pressure and force.
"I said SILENCE!
I know he'll come. You're his best soldier. His right hand. Killing you will lose him millions that he can not afford, but i won't have to do any of that if he just listens."
Rose frowned, unimpressed, and looked up through her bangs. Her neck was a little tight after being shoved down so roughly.
"You think so highly of me. I'm kinda flattered. But if you knew him like I do, you can stop wasting both of our time and shoot me already. He's not going to bother-"
"-saving his daughter?"
Rose's voice gets caught in her throat, almost making her gag.
Rose looked back at Darkeethus.
"W-what?"
His lips stretched into a disconcerting smile.
"Oh it took a lot of digging and lots of righteous sacrifices, but I know who you are now. I know how you came to be.
Scarrlette."
Rose started sweating. Things usually get complicated when they know who she really was.
He turns so his back is facing her.
"Or should I say a clone of Scarrlette. A faulty product, a failure."
There were questionable tools on the table that made the bottom of her stomach tighten. She knew what they could be used for.
Darkeethus messed with a few of the objects on the table, inspecting each one closely before giggling manically to himself. He turned around, holding a weird scoop like tool very surgical with sharp edges. He showed it off to her, causing her face to pale when she realized what it was.
Darkeethus leans over the bounded redhead.
"Now let's see, what can we remove to show him we are serious?," He makes a show of pondering as he tapped his chin, "Oh yes! That beautiful eye of yours."
Rose feels the panic start to bubble up in her chest as the scientist holds a different tool, which is supposed to keep the eye socket open.
"Wait, wait! You wanted him to listen to you, right, I can relay that information to him! I can bring him here guaranteed, with no eyeball removal."
Darkeethus thinks for a second making Rose assume he's actually taking the offer. Her hopes shattered when he shook his head.
"No, this way will do, my sweet."
The tool started to move close to her eye, hovering a few inches away.
"Shit fuck shit shit."
Sweat starts to bead down her forehead.
She shuts her eyes, teeth clenching in anticipation. A small, "Agghhh!" Escaping her lips.
When suddenly shadows start to form behind the mad scientist. It clumps up like millions of bats until a physical body is created.
A clawed hand gripped Darkeethus' shoulder tightly.
Then, he flings him back with ease. Darkeethus hits the wall, and pieces of wood shattered. His body slides down as blood poured out of the gash across the back of his head.
The new figure stared at the scientist that they flung, making it difficult for Rose to see who it was. Her eyes caught sight of the black hair, and the way it flowed flawlessly in the wind. She was shocked, and maybe she could even say relieved. Was it really him?
"A.. Akumu..?" She tried.
Red eyes looked over their shoulder to the bound redhead.
The figure turns around, and the second time that day, her hope shattered. It was Akumu's pet vampire, Liam Von Goethe.
Rose tried not to feel too disappointed, her smile wavering.
"L-Liam! What are you doing here.."
"My leige does not have time to deal with whatever this is, so he sent me."
He crossed his arms, looking at her.
Liam doesn't say anything else after that and stares. Rose starts to get uncomfortable with how awkward the stare is.
"Are you gonna untie me? Or just stare..." Rose asked, feeling quite flustered under that gaze.
Liam stands there with a hand on his chin as he studies Rose.
Another voice chimes in. "Beautiful.."
Liam turns his head to the scientist. They were sitting upright, leaning heavily on the wall, face covered in blood, a large contrast against their pale white hair.
Darkeethus stared at Liam in complete awe, one eye swollen shut.
"You're absolutely beautiful."
Liam became flustered a deep frown stretching his lips.
"Are you an angel?"
Liam scoffs, a look of disgust on his face.
"Che, you're delusional from blood loss."
"And you." He turns to face Rose his clawed hand reaching out.
"How much more will he tolerate before he sees you as a liability, I wonder.." Rose looked up at him with a frown as he caresses her cheek. It made her stomach twist from how gentle he was being.
He stared a little while longer before suddenly getting up. He dusted his cloak off from imaginary dust and started to leave.
Rose watched him go for a few minutes. The door slammed shut behind him, shaking the walls with force.
She looked down at the steeel chains and bolts, powered by alchemy, keeping her in place.
"Fucking asshole didn't untie me."
She tapped her temple with her shoulder, hitting her intercom and waited for the call to go through.
"Yo?"
"I'm calling in that favor you owe me."

Meeting the Big Three
( Rose is introduced to Akumu's business associates who helped build the Empire, however she soon finds out very unfortunate information )
They entered a large luxurious office with Akumu's hand placed behind Rose's neck, guiding her inside. "This is Scarlette, my daughter."
Kaili laid on the couch, stretched out like a large, content feline, his robe partially covering anything important, not that he would care nonetheless. He puffed on his hookah, and exhaled the smoke towards Rose's face. If she was bothered she made no move to show it.
Kaili found that intriguing.
"Ah, so this is the reason."
Kaili leans down to get a better look. He holds her chin up and tilts her head side to side, inspecting her features, blowing another purple cloud of smoke towards her.
"Hmm, doesn't seem like much. Tiny."
Akumu stood proudly with his chin in the air his grip from the back of her neck slightly tightened- the only indication that he was annoyed.
"The way Ive recreated her- she is exceedingly adequate."
Akumu looked at her, red eyes flashing with pride.
"An ideal weapon. She will be the model face for the New Order."
"She is just a mere child living up to her father's expectations."
Akumu and Kaili look over their shoulder towards the desk, unaware of the fourth presence in the room.
Uriel sat on a rather large chair, arms crossed.
"What makes her so special besides blood?"
Uriel stood up almost towering as he walked towards them wings spread.
"She's untrustworthy. Has she mentioned the Rebellion, who may I add, has been sabotaging all of our efforts of expanding?"
Uriel grabbed her front, lifting her small body in the air with ease. He glared down at her, the look so intense she had to look away. The first mistake she did.
"Yes, I know."
Uriel looks at Akumu confused, dropping her to the floor with a thud.
"You knew?"
Uriel spazzed as Akumu looks on calmly.
"Yes. Of course. She may not realize it..."
Akumu shifted his gaze to the redhead on the floor an aura surrounding him that made Rose's skin crawl.
".. but when they say the Overlord has eyes everywhere they meant I can see through each and every one of my contractors."
"Specially yours."
That was Rose's second mistake.
After the meeting Rose left in a hurry. She left through the fire escape, leaving a decoy behind that'll buy her some time as she made her way towards the secret base underneath the sewer systems.
It wasn't as gross as one would think. It was well decorated, reconstructed to fit over forty plus people. It held a great ventilation system- a few bunkers, a small lab, two training grounds, a compact cafeteria, and a highly classified tech room from things Rose brought in to help them.
Rose shoved the double doors open in a haste entering the meeting room for the rebellion.
"We need to relocate now."
Morgan got up from reading through files, confused from the sudden demand.
"What the hell? Why do you want us to relocate? What is going on?"
Rose packing, advising everyone else to do so which they did without a second thought.
"No time just get all of this shit and go somewhere, anywhere."
"Sinclaire?" Morgan watches her pace, shoving things in bags, or placing them in a pile.
"ROSE!" Morgan puts hands on Rose's shoulders to stop her from pacing.
"What is going on? What happened?" Rose looked away, guilt written upon her face.
"it.. it was me.... I'm the reason why he knows where we are each and everytime...if he can see through people who've made contracts with him what will he do with me? Someone who shares his blood? I'm a liability."
Morgan frowned knowing where this was going. It meant theyll be away from one another. No contact. No way of knowing if they are safe. Or when they'll be able to see one another again if ever.
Rose placed her hand on Morgan's cheek, gently coaxing the blonde back to reality. There was a saddened look in Rose's eyes as if she knew exactly what Morgan was thinking.
"I can't stay here and ruin this for everyone. We've worked so hard to get this far."
Even if Morgan knew the answer she still asked, "Will you keep in touch... outside of the rebellion?"
".. I can." Morgan perked up with that, "But it will be limited." That was Rose's third mistake.
Rose gave a small sigh and cupped the blonde's face.
"A kiss for the road?"
Morgan pulls her in, gently holding the back of Rose's head. Morgan gave her a kiss that deepened with so many repressed feelings she held for so long and now not knowing when she'll be able to express them.
Rose pulled away first with much reluctance, not caring if some of the other members of the rebellion where watching. She stared into Morgan's blue eyes before completely pulling away to grab her things. Then she left, crushing her key card in her palm.
Morgan watched Rose leave until she couldn't see the assassin anymore. With a nod of acceptance, she turns to everyone else.
"Alright, yall heard her! Get to packing, we will leave before sundown!" She barked out the order, everyone moving immediately before the command even left her mouth.
"Yes, sir!"

Angel of Love
( it's best to hear the song "Angel of Love by Dj Mystik on YouTube while reading to submerge yourself into the story )
"Over here hurry, Sinclaire!" Morgan grabbed Rose's wrist, practically dragging her towards the stairs that led up to the rooftop.
The creatures behind them weren't human anymore no matter how human they perceive themselves to be, theire nails were too long, their teeth too sharp, and their eyes were so black almost like a demon's but not quite there. They only wanted blood and the nearest blood bank was Rose and Morgan.
Once they reached the top, Rose broke off a steel bar from one of the railings, and bent it around the door handles to seal it before they started pounding against it. Bodies slammed onto the sealed door, the metal screeching as its pulled taunt from the pressure.
Morgan looked around trying to find an escape route, as Rose backed away from the door her gun out and ready.
The metal creaked one last time before the doors were thrown off its hinges, bodies upon bodies filled the empty space, forcing Rose to back up. No matter how many she shot, five more took their place. Rose was starting to get overwhelmed, there was too many of them, she couldn't see past their heads.
Her gun was torn away from her, as the crowd crammed themselves onto the rooftop, some even falling to their deaths from the overflow. Rose was being pushed around unable to catch her footing, bodies pressed against bodies, until she realized she wasn't being pushed randomly, they were pushing her towards the edge of the building where she took the railings off.
Morgan was able to punch down a few, using her mark's ability to aid her in her time of need but they kept coming back. She shoved them away, kicking down the one behind her, elbowing another. She couldn't see the telltale red hair of Rose over the sea of mutated humans, as sweat started to drip down her forehead.
"J-Jones!" The blonde snapped her head towards the direction of her name, and after tobbling over a few bodies to climb them, she was able to see Rose. She was inches away from the edge when the bodies pushed one last time, the cement of the building crumbled from underneath her feet. Morgan's eyes widen in horror, as Rose fell backwards off the building.
"ROSE, NO!" Morgan shoved passed the mutations in her haste, not exactly thinking what she was about to do.
She jumped after her.
Rose was falling and falling fast, Morgan needed to reach her. She tucked her arms and legs in to gain speed and catch up. Rose was in shock once Morgan reached her, wind wiping past them.
"What the hell are you thinking jumping after me! Youll die too!"
"You said I had wings right? I can feel them but they won't come out!"
Morgan looked at Rose, a crazed look in her eyes. "Pull them out NOW!"
"Shit!" Rose ripped Morgan's shirt in her haste to reach two stumps on the blonde's back. They were trapped beneath a thick layer of skin. Rose dug her nails in, piercing through Morgan's skin to reach the wings, as blood stained her finger tips. Morgan hissed in pain, her voice getting more strained and high pitched, as Rose tugged hard on the wings. They tore threw layers of skin on Morgan's back, a pained scream erupted from the blonde's throat, before she slumped down unconscious.
"Jones they're out, now what! Jones?" Rose lifted the blonde's head to look at their face, only to see the other had passed out from the pain. Rose's heart started to beat uncontrollably fast, realization dawned on her. They were going to fall to their death.
"Jones, wake up!" Rose peaked behind her shoulder to see the ground rising in record breaking speed. Even if Rose survived Morgan wouldnt.
Rose became more hysterical, "Jones, please, wake up! Jones! JONES!"
Her breathe hitched, as she curled around Morgan, bracing for impact.
"MORGAN!"
Morgan's eyes shot open, glowing unnaturally purple. Arms gripped the redhead in a tight, secure hold, and planted her feet on the ground within those last few seconds, the earth around them destroyed by the impact. Morgan used that momentum to push them back up into the sky, blood soaked wings stretched wide, shattering the glass windows from the buildings surrounding them with the force of it.
Rose had a death grip on Morgan, taking deep puffs of air and opened her eyes. She was awestruck. Morgan had an air of divine authority, coupled with her large, blood stained wings, and that purple mark, was a sight to see.
She realized Morgan was waiting on her command. Those uncanny purple eyes staring straight at her with such intensity she had to look away. She looked over at the many mutations still trying to get them. There's no cure for them once they consumed human flesh, and by the looks of it most of them did.
What the hell was Akumu thinking turning them into these abominations? What was the reason behind it? Either way they can't go back to being normal.
With that her decision was made. "Kill them. Kill all of them. We'll wipe out the disease before it spreads."
"As you wish.." Came the low rumble, as Morgan held up her hands, forcing Rose to hold onto the blonde on her own, legs dangling.
Particles started to materialize between Morgan's hands, forming a large bow n arrow, created by crafted light. It glowed a bright lavander, and Rose wasn't able to look directly at it.
Morgan pulled the string taunt, an arrow crafted by the same material formed, before she released it into the crown of mutants. That one arrow, broke into millions of small shards, all landing on their designed target, sweeping them off the planet. It burned their body until their was nothing but ash left in its wake.
Morgan placed them both back on the rooftop. Once Rose felt the ground underneath her, she leaned heavily on the nearest railing, trying to slow down her racing heart.
"Holy shit..." Rose turned around to look at Morgan in all of her divine glory. "How did you do that- Morgan? Hey are you okay?" Rose quickly reached out before the blonde faceplanted onto the ground. Rose shook her but Morgan was unconscious. Wings slowly withdrew back into the blonde's body, the wounds they caused closed shut, leaving only a thin scar.
"Reever to Matriarch. Do you read me?"
"Read you loud and clear, Reever."
"I need an extraction meet me down at the docks. Ill send you the coordinates." Rose marked, as she held onto the blonde, rearranging her so Rose can safely lift her onto a fireman hold.
"ETA 30 minutes."

( Its best to hear the song while reading )
Diablo Rojo
Rose sat tied down in a wooden chair as she watched the crazed scientist paced around the room, his gun waving about. He tossed papers on the ground and smashed tubes that were in his way. It looked like a medical storage room, with plenty of different types of experimental vials tossed and disorganized. Her mission was to kill him and gather a few vials for testing.
Once the man had his back turned, she easily snapped the rope in half and tackled the man down. He was actually stronger than anticipated as they fought over the weapon clenched in the man's hand. It fired off a few rounds in the struggle, smashing the glass containers and a few vials, purple and pink liquid splattering all over the white walls.
The man bent his arm to try and aim at her head, she struggled to keep it away, the gun wavered between them. Rose yelled with exertion as she shoved the gun back towards the man, before he pulled the trigger in his haste to shoot her. Blood soaked her turtleneck as well as covered part of her face from the large wound where half the man's head should be.
She bent over one of the counter tops, and gagged, spitting blood that wasn't even hers. She continued to dry heave, wiping her spit with the back of her hand. As she started to stand up she caught sight of a flickering light hidden behind a few thin blankets.
She leaned forward to reach the edge of one of the blankets to pull it off revealing a handmade explosive, fueled by some of vials. This man knew they were coming for him, and the only way to protect his life's work was to destroy it all.
"Oh, shit.."
She quickly turned and used the bud of the gun to shatter more containers holding in the vials, as she started to gather some of them up, placing them in her pockets and any other place she can hold them. She kicked the sealed door open, it fell with a loud thud when suddenly the alarms started to ring, the lights dimmed as the red emergency lights flickered on.
She didn't have time she needed to leave now. She ran through a corridor, every hall looking identical to the last, making it difficult to truely find a way out. Rose looked back and forth between a junction she stumbled on, not sure if she should go right or left. What made her decision for her was the deafening explosion from the previous room she was in. It rumbled the whole facility, the lights flickered off, the only thing visible was the bright orange, of the firebomb eating everything in its way.
Rose's face paled when she realized what it was. She didn't have time to think which way was correct and took the left corridor. She picked up the pace, the fire behind her destroying everything as it grew closer and closer.
She smashed through doors, without breaking her stride, her heart racing with the fear of being burned alive. "Shit, fuck, fuck, fuck!"
---
"We need more water aimed towards the north end of the facility!"
"Hurry, block the pathways so it won't spread!"
Miyuki watched everyone work to contain the sudden explosion. She was searching for a certain assassin but couldn't pin point the red-hair. Instead she spotted Morgan off to the side helping with equipment to keep the water flowing.
Since their truce they've been helping one another, it's still a bit rocky between them but for Rose, they'll put aside anything. Miyuki ran up to the cop.
"Jones! Have you seen Sinclaire? I can't find her."
Morgan turned to look at her, confused.
"I thought she was with you?"
Miyuki frowned at that. This doesn't sound good. "You don't think she's still inside?"
Morgan cursed. "Shit! You can't be fucking serious?"
Morgan shoved her coat off and her shirt leaving her in a sports bra.
"I'll go get her, manage the others." Morgan hunched over, a deep growl escaping her throat. Purple veins starts to spread throughout her right arm, crawling up her neck and covering part of her eye. Large blood soaked wings tore through skin, and expanded in all of its glory, feathers floating gracefully about.
Morgan crouched as low as she can, before leaping off the ground and into the sky, flying into the flames of the burning facility. Miyuki watched her go, hoping for the best.
--------
Rose ran towards the sliding steel door, however the doors started to close as an emergency protocol. Her shoulder smashed into it, denting but not opening. She placed her fingers in the crevice of the door, and tried to pry it open, feeling the heat of the fire get closer to her position.
When her fingers kept sliding off, she knew she was completely and utterly screwed. She would've used her energy to smashed through it easily, but most of it was already used and what she has now is what she's using to get away from becoming fried machinery.
She turned over her shoulder and saw the ball of fire inching towards her within seconds, causing her to panic. She slammed on the door. "Open the fucken door! Fuck!"
She turned around and praced herself. The ceiling above her crashed open, a figure landing in front of her and in one quick motion picked her up, then leaped out. The flames crashed where they were standing mere seconds before, and followed them up.
Rose looked at Morgan, shock written all over her face. Morgan looked at her for a second, but then kept her eyes focused on the exit. The redhead looked back down only to curse.
"Oh, shit! Can't you go any faster?"
"You think I'm not trying to go as fast as I can fucken go?" Morgan growled, trying to get her wings to fly them faster. The flames started to flicker towards her feet as well as Rose's.
"Godddammit!" Rose tried to put out the flames as it licked up their legs, burning her hands. Rose kept patting the flames out but more kept burning, crawling up their legs.
"Rose, fucken do something!"
"I'm fucken trying!"
The fire caught her arm, spreading more and melting the fabric onto her skin.
They burst out of the facility, flying straight up in a ball of flames, as it licked and burned their skin. Miyuki's eyes widened in horror only able to watch as the burning ball of fire started to crash down. They had glided towards a frozen over lake, cracking the ice with the force of their fall, as the two bodies became submerged in freezing water, putting out the fire like a match.
"We need medical assistance now!" Miyuki ordered as she ran towards the crater of ice.

Rolling up their sleeves
Pulling clothing off of themselves or other characters with a single hand
Using nicknames
Protecting other characters from harm even when they know they'll get hurt
Holding Character A's chin, thigh, or back
Never sharing personal secrets with others
Lip biting
Staying behind Character A with their arms wrapped around their waist or turning them around
Kissing them indirectly with a piece of paper/hand/mask in between their lips
Softly rubbing a spot on Character A's body that hurts
Tucking, brushing, braiding, and patting Character A's hair
Catching other characters giving Character A a dirty glare and then Character B does it back at them
Being above Character A as the other is kneeling before them
Remembering key details about other characters like what they like, how they interact, their reactions...
Feeding Character A and then eating from the same spoon or drinking from the same cup at the exact location where A's lips were
Reminding their friends they care about them
Becoming what they need to be in certain circumstances
Putting Character A's head onto their lap
Catching A when they fall
Winking, nudging with an elbow, playful surprises
Telling the truth even when it hurts
Teasing Character A for almost everything and then pushing them against the wall with their lips pressed together
Eagerly waiting for Character A to appear
Grabbing Character A's chair and pulling them closer
Not just being a cold-hearted person and developing empathy for others

Veire usually wonders during twilight when it's neither night nor day. When the earth is still and calm, and most living things are still in deep slumber. Her familiar Tiresias sits quietly on her forearm, his weight a welcoming presence. They stroll down a path covered in vines and fallen branches.
Her familiar suddenly bristles for a few seconds, causing the witch to stop in her tracks. Tiresias chirps purple eyes glowing brighter, the sparkles of white shining like shooting stars. Veire tilts her head, eyes dimmed as she dissociates, listening closely to each chirp. When the owl stops, she's snaps back to the present with a slow blink.
"Curious... if she could find a way to escape her destiny, does she deserve too? Hmm.. "
She hums to herself a lullaby and continues to make her way towards her destination.
--------------
I've been needing to do some major background work on Veire. She plays a big part, just need to give her more screen time.
Tiresias means blind seer in greek.
He can see their future in fragments, and then Veire translates them to the best of her ability.

New OC! His name is 3dg3.
He works for the Rebellion, yet no one has seen his face. He's really good with hand to hand combat and can improvise with any weapon at hand. He can even get pretty creative. He's also really silent, yet physically cocky, likes to taunt in a come hither kind of way.
He's very mysterious, with no information on him, no fingerprints, nothing. He practically doesn't exist. And that makes Rose on "3dg3." Sorry.
Though there is a reputation he holds as a "Green-Eyed Demon."
The Rebellion seemed to be smitten by him. Even if he doesn't talk more, like expresses himself through body movements, sign language, or sticky notes.
He's quieter than Syaoran. At least Sya gives one word answers. 3dg3 either tilts his head or shrugs. And no one knows what he really means.
He's helped so much more than any new recruit has ever, that even Morgan has become suspicious.
There's moments where Morgan has seen him in battle, and it would give her strange dejavu from times she's faught Rose.
Similar patterns, techniques, and speed. Though, his hand to hand combat was more thoroughly enhanced.

New oc Laverna
She's a nekomimi rogue, loves to steal (people's hearts), always a 'scratch my back ill scratch yours' type of gal
Won't do anything for free, very upfront, mysterious, and sexually confident.
She's actually ace, but uses her body as a tactic to get her way.

This was supposed to be a venting piece but it gave me an idea.
This could be an example of Rose's many nightmares.
Her victims would drag her kicking and screaming. Limbs reaching for anything they can grab, pulling her under inky darkness, drowning her until she wakes up sweaty, and pale with the need to puke out her insides.
She keeps sane by being a Nympho since alcohol and drugs don't affect her like they would a normal human.
