Mun Fun - Art Edition! (OOC POST)

Hey everyone! It’s the mun Ellis here, and I decided on a little ad break from Axel’s Thoughts to give you some art I’ve done of him! It’s not the cleanest it could be, but I wanted to make art of him in his usual outfit and here’s the result. I’ll do another Axel’s Thoughts later, this was just something I wanted to share OOC.

“Do I have enough bucks to buy more lollipops? These bets are starting to get out of hand- I mean, who the hell crams an entire bag’s worth of lolipops into their mouth so easily? And who else crams an emergency bag into their cake-hole? Well apparently it’s the two idiots of the force. Okay, I shouldn’t think that about them.”

“Lockhart’s been teaching me how to pick the locks of things cause I was jealous of her but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like a level lower than novice. I mean, come on! She picked 25 locks in 2 minutes! This is why I do paperwork.”

“I just watched Lockhart pick 50 locks in the span of 5 minutes and I don’t know whether to be impressed or terrified. I definitely choked on my lollipop a little, that’s for sure. Looks like King owes her 5 bucks.”

“Eros is both the most interesting and most confusing boss I’ve ever had in my life, and mind you I’ve worked in retail. It’s just... As teens say, the vibes are weird. They do say that right? Time to google.”

“It’s funny how everyone assumed I’d be a criminal cause of my epithet, but really I’m a copper filing paper work and reading up on cases I’m not even involved in. Irony and me are practically friends by this point.”

“I think I’m finally the stereotypical cold detective and I’m proud of myself. I pop lolipops in my mouth like I’m you-know-what, I have a long brown trench coat, I hope I’m smart and I lurk in the shadows cause I like to be mysterious and have a certain atmosphere...

To be fair SJDP needs at least one person like that though. I’m just filling a role. Like an actor of sorts. And okay, yeah- it’s fun.”

“I wonder if Officer King even sleeps sometimes. With her intense record of arrests... It’s impressive as hell, but also insane. She even got that Murdoch guy, and the Amulet! Sergeant Eros should check on her, make sure she’s okay.”

May I have some cop fam headcanons for the soul?

Eros is just... the weirdest possible boss. He’s boss, dad, weird-uncle, and kinda annoying clingy co-worker all in one

He also LOVES to spend time watching (and then getting involved in) his employee’s drama in his free time. Which is a lot of the time. What exactly does he do again—

Meryl knows Eros and Percy’s baked good preferences and regularly brings them pink cake and granola cookies respectively

The free treats do not stop Percy from spatting with her

Eros seems to simultaneously enjoy watching them fight and enjoy trying to fix their rivalry; seriously, he keeps sticking them on cases together and Percy is somehow still clueless that he’s doing it on purpose—

They HAVE been in combat all at once, fairly early on— right after Meryl got into the force. That was when Eros really established himself as a force to be reckoned with, which is why the girls treat him as an authority figure rather than the way he acts 90% of the time

Neither Meryl nor Percy have seen underneath Eros’s shades. What lies beneath is too powerful for them to gaze upon

Do you have any suspects or leads?

“We have a few suspects, but the timeline of events have been messy so leads have been almost tangled, if that makes sense.” Axel saw it like a game of catch, if it involved criminals of varying skill.

“All I can divulge right now is that the last person to have the Arsene Amulet was a Bliss Ocean operative- but its in good hands now thanks to Officer King... And a helpful ally.” His face didn’t change to that faint slip of fear that it does for most people when Bliss Ocean was mentioned. If anything it turned into a challenging smirk. His orange eyes glowed an epithet glow, which he tried to dull down. 

After the fiasco while he was fresh on the job, he didn’t want to remind people of his epithet. Not if he could help it anyways.

Interview on the Arsene Amulet case (Asks open!)

“Right, so now I’ll be taking questions on the case of the Arsene Amulet, as Miss Percival King couldn’t join us today.” He glanced over to the empty seat beside him. Seems as if she got too wrapped up in the Murdoch case, but he couldn’t get too mad. He just sighed a long sigh, as cameras flickered.
