In hindsight, it really wasn’t that complicated. It was just the discomfort that came with explaining that she was a werewolf.

The details are as follows:

Wait, blog move?

The new blog system is going to be a hub with sides for each muse, rather than one multi! This way, people can just follow the muses they’re interested in, and avoid those they aren’t.

The side effect, of course, is the fact that only the hub blog can follow back since the actual RP blogs are sideblogs.

Which muses are going over?

Right now, I only have blogs made for Masumi, Bourbon!Masumi, and Eisuke, but more of my current muses will be following as I get things sorted out!

Where are the blogs?

The hub blog can be found at @growandspread, and Masumi can be found at @detectiveofmysteries. Note that Eisuke (@notsoclumsy) and Bourbon!Masumi (@whiskeybetrayal​) also technically have blogs, but they haven’t been set up yet so those two are still extremely bare bones.

Are you moving right now?

No, this blog will remain active until the new blogs are all set up, then the move will occur.

What about threads?

I will make a tag post with threads I’m keeping in the move when the time comes.

The inbox?

Sadly, most stuff in the inbox is so old I have no idea of the original memes anymore or have no muse for the prompts. The inbox will likely be emptied, with maybe a few memes being responded to.

She seemed as ever-calm as ever when mentioning how she heard recently from the news how there had apparently been a person whose status had allowed him to take advantage of innocent people. “I’m sure you’ve heard of that: Ichiryusai Madarame was arrested some days after he came clean and it hasn’t been the only case like this…” She sighed and muttered how people are only realizing now that corruption here is so deep-rooted it has managed to escalate in worst case scenarios.

She herself had come to that conclusion after working here for six months and seeing the worst sides of crime world. As if her situation hadn’t been rough enough… this amplified it and frustrated her. To the comment on how corruption could be stopped with normal methods she was quiet for a while, not precisely sure what to say. A part of her wanted to say how Masumi had been living in an idealistic world and needed a wake-up call to reality - England was no Japan nor would ever be - but a part saw a glimpse of a person she used to be five years ago. The world needed positive and not all-pessimistic souls like she already was to protect cities from crime, so she wasn’t going to be as blunt as she originally planned to be.

“…how should I put it? Working in Tokyo PD really tires you out, especially at times like this when PT cases are overpowering. My faith on this system we have isn’t as strong as you’d assume.” Was she dead honest right now? Yes, but she had known for some time that it worked in most cases.

Right, Masumi had heard about that. By the sounds of it, that was a rather extreme situation, and she could understand the feeling if there was so much to deal with, but...

“...I know, it’s bad. There’s a lot of cases, and honestly I wish people would stop resorting to murder as a solution to their problems-” Really, that was getting old. “-But I try not to let it wear me down.”

“Besides, I feel like we’ve had very different experiences with the police system. I don’t know what exactly you’ve been dealing with, but I find that the police for my area of Tokyo are generally helpful and trustworthy.”

Yup, two very different experiences. Masumi had been fortunate to not have to deal with the same things as Naoto, even if she was currently wrapped up in her own personal mess. As such, she still had pretty good trust in the Japanese police.
