Hey, weird question because my friend and I were debating this. In a world of Werewolves, Vampires, and Witches, what would Tobirama be?

Witch hands down. Now, like, aesthetically he could fit vampire and would, respectfully, be a very sexy vampire and he’d be good at the brooding etc but from a character analysis POV I’m just seeing witch.

With all the jutsu he comes up with, the abilities he has, the way he thinks about things and (to me) just screams wanting to be around nature (trees and water). It’s giving witch.

Out of the founders Madara gives more werewolf because of the deep rooted emotions of the Uchiha the abilities (see the two aesthetics of regular appearance and Sharingan and other evolutions vs human and werewolf) but also the inner turmoil of fighting against his ‘inner beast or demons’ or whatever when he’s younger and village days. He’s also just a gremlin who fits that 10/10 and would totally strip in a forest under a full moon but I digress…

Tobirama would also be super committed to learning everything arcane. Like he just has that focus to dedicating himself to it and mastering everything. It fits him. Also the whole taking out someone with the flick of his wrist and uttering some words? That’s so him.

I can see arguments for him fitting into either of the three but for me witch is strongest. The other two feel more aesthetic than anything. But it’s all fun so

Just so y’all know: I can’t speak for every other fic author but I can say that I remember when people leave me kind comments. I recognize your urls and/or usernames on AO3. I remember you and sometimes in writing my fics I think to myself, “Oh, I hope this person sees this because they liked x in this other fic I did.”

Not only that—I go back and reread comments when I’m feeling low. I look at tags and reblogs and asks and wish I could hold them in my hand like a note from a friend on an old, torn piece of notebook paper.

I don’t normally comment a lot on here but since this is actually my space I feel like I should add something. If you’re looking at this (particularly if you’re Australian) thinking ‘wow this is so disrespectful I can’t even imagine how they could even think to do this.’ Well I am not at all shocked because I see this stuff on the daily as an Aboriginal person.

Let me tell you the daily battles we face. Us mob still have to REMIND government and corporations to capitalise the ‘a’ in Aboriginal the, ‘t’ in Torres Strait Islander, ‘I’ in Indigenous and ‘f’ in First Nation peoples. In official documents they’ll remember to capitalise every colonial suburb name but won’t capitalise ANY of these half the time because we are still just an after thought to them. It’s still just flora and fauna days.

We have to explain to them that if they’re using our work they actually have to credit us! Shocking I know! This includes things like artworks. Even though new intellectual rights guidelines come into play and types of laws get passed, it’s still not enough to actually protect us. So shit like this!? I am not shocked that yet again, colonisers be colonising and taking our art shoving it into an algorithm without our permission to produce something void of anything relevant to culture or our people.

It’s the same old story: stealing and exploiting mob
