I’ve been seeing people try and drumb up this ridiculous rivalry between Baldur’s Gate and Dragon Age and can y’all please stop? Neither franchise is obligated to “live up to” or “own” the other. You can like both. Stop trying to compare them to one another.

Baldur’s Gate 3 looks awesome, and that’s cool.

Dreadwolf will probably also be awesome, and that’s cool, too.

I’ve been excited for both and I really hate that people are starting to sour BG3’s time in the spotlight by comparing it to a game that’s still a year or more from release. It makes the Baldur’s Gate community look really gross and will probably not bring out the best behavior from the DA community if it continues. Assuming it hasn’t already.

Stop fighting over video games and just enjoy that you have so many awesome games to play. It’s not hard.
