i just learned about jellycat, but winsetta bunny was discontinued, so i want to ask, when will dickensian bunny be available? and will it still be available by christmas?

Dickensian Bunny will be available either by next week or by September! It is part of the Winter/Holiday collection so it will definitely still be available by Christmas.

Midseason Collection 2021 and personal update!

First of all, the Jellycat Midseason Collection is finally launching tomorrow! I hope you are all as excited as I am to meet a whole bunch of new Jellycat friends. This collection will consist of about 100 new designs, which I will gradually post over the next weeks!

Second of all, as some of you guys may know, I am busy in university studying biology. I am specialized in zoology which also happens to be my other special interest besides Jellycats! Meanwhile, I've been trying hard to finally move out and into my own place but since I am unable to work and study at the same time due to my autism, that has proven to be difficult. i haven’t truly regressed healthily for months

just impurely

and that’s okay

sometimes age regression isn’t a happy thing, sometimes it’s hard to regress and sometimes it feels impossible no matter what i try. sometimes i get into my tinyspace and then get bad thoughts that pull me right out.

i’ll get through this and you will too ♡

But if you do have beanie babies or boos (i have one) i don't think you should feel bad about using them as comfort items even after this. Maybe cutting the labels off or sewing something over the logo might be a good idea? I don't wanna give up my dwagon but i feel weird knowing her makers don't want me to be myself (i'm working on an autism diagnosis). But the best retaliation i can think of is using one of their toys as a comfort item that helps me stim and be my happy and possibly autistic self

They've deleted comments 3 times now that have been speaking up about it. There are still some left but this is making me very sad. I wanna get rid of my paw patrol beanie babys now :( Next for Autism is trying to completely get rid of autism and "find a cure." Our brains are different. There is no cure. Plus all the people that want a cure aren't autistic!! Nobody asked autistic people about what we thought.

pacifiers are used by age regressors/dreamers for many reasons! here are some examples! pacifiers may…

- help a regressor stay small

- prevent skin picking

- feel soothing

- help with calming down after/ during panic attacks

- prevent cheek biting

- stop teeth grinding

- force you to breathe through your nose (which can be calming if you have anxiety)

- prevent nail biting

- be used for oral stimulation

- stop you from clenching your jaw

- help an oral fixation

not all regressors use pacifiers though! and that’s perfectly okay!! but if you do use them, that’s perfectly okay too!! it’s not weird to use/want to use them! if they help you, then that’s great!!

some pacifiers can be decorated in a very pretty way! they’re called “deco pacifiers”! they’re often made by shops who are also part of the community! however, they can sometimes cost a little more depending on how it’s made! (and all shops are different, so be sure to read through their info if you’re thinking about buying one!) some are decorated with gems, pearls, letter beads, and plenty of other things! and some shops will make you a custom so it looks however you want with the materials they have available!

caring for your paci is also quite important !! be sure to wash it often! so you don’t put any icky germs in your mouth! if you are wanting to wash a deco pacifier, be sure to ask the shop how to wash it if it didn’t come with a care guide!

(and small reminder that you do not need a pacifier to be valid!! your regression is valid no matter what you use or don’t use!! <3 )

Your regression is yours and yours alone, no matter how it looks, or how often you regress, your regression is valid and perfect.

Setting boundaries as a caregiver is completely normal, and even healthy for everyone, your number one priority should be your own self, and you should never be ashamed of caring for yourself first.

Its okay if your regression isn't "aesthetic" and its okay if you enjoy things that don't fit the standard mold of regression while regressed, regression is meant to be your safe place, allow yourself to enjoy what you want without placing outside expectations on yourself.
