Biting her lip, Tifa frowned.

"Vegeta..." she murmured. "I understand." Not that she wanted to think about his demise anytime soon. But she knew the significance of what he was saying to her. Of course she'd take up the mantle any way she could. "I won't let you down."

The praise Tifa heard from Vegeta had her stand tall, proud and glad to have earned his attention that way. "My Prince, I don't understand..." she replied, frowning a little. Yes, Vegeta and Goku had died a few times and come back at this point, but she didn't like the finality in his tone.

"I am saying, that I pass my will and pride onto you once my time comes," Vegeta replied, though he could sense her concern. "Don't worry, I don't plan on dying anytime soon. Nor sacrificing myself like I did with Majin Buu, That is why we continue to train, to become strong, too strong for the next threat."

@cc-gohan “Hey Tifa, I heard from Dende that you visited your parents in the Otherworld, how did that go?”

Tifa saw Gohan approach, her eyes lighting up at his question.

"Yeah--! Yeah, I did..."

It had been an incredible and shocking experience. One moment, she was home, the next, she was traveling the Otherworld, told that she had been granted this chance to see her parents. Her mother was beautiful as ever, healthy and strong as they embraced for the first time since Tifa was a child. Her birth father was someone she was too young to meet. He had died on their home planet. She only knew him from stories.

Meeting him had her heart swell.

It was an odd thing, seeing her birth parents together. But also seeing her stepfather, too. Somehow, their three spirit made it work in the afterlife. Her dads(?) got along like buddies, her mother telling her not to think too deeply about the whole thing. What mattered was they were at peace and all proud of her.

They couldn't linger too long, but the time she spent with the three of them, telling them stories of her growing up and getting strong, of meeting Prince Vegeta and being taken care of...those were moments she would always remember. She did ask her human dad while he didn't resurrect, to which he explained he was at peace with his life and wanted to remain in the Otherworld with her mother. It was sad, but she understood, after seeing how happy they all were.

"It was..." Tifa tried to say, a smile on her face as she recalled the interaction. "....perfect."

Staring at the Saiyan, Tifa's eyes narrowed, her energy strong and crackling around her as her emotions rose.

She had no idea who this was, and it was the first time she saw someone like her on this planet, beyond Goku. "I will never surrender to a tyrant," she spat, standing her ground.

Otherworldly Favour [Gohan x Tifa | HanTi, Drabble]

Sometime after Majin Buu was destroyed, Gohan had his father Goku teleport him to the Sacred Land of the Kai’s. “Sorry about the sudden visit, Supreme Kai. Could I ask for a favour?” he asked.

“Of course, you helped save the universe after all. I overheard that Goku asked King Yemma to reincarnate Buu as a good person. So, what can I do for you?” the Supreme Kai answered, curious to Gohan’s favour.

“I’m lucky to have my family around, even recently with my dad being revived thanks to the Elder Kai. But Tifa, she never got that from her birth parents, I was wondering if you could pull some strings so she can meet them? She deserves at least that much,” Gohan explained, hoping it wasn’t too big of an ask.

“I agree, she played an important role in taking down Majin Buu as well. It may take some time to track down their souls, but it is not impossible,” the Supreme Kai replied with a smile. “You are a good person and friend Gohan, even this favour you ask is selfless. So once that is arranged, would you like to accompany Tifa to meet them?”

“No thank you, I want Tifa to have that quality time with her parents, and the last thing I want is for them to think I’m dating her if I tagged along haha,” Gohan replied with a blush and laugh, then made a slight bow in gratitude. “Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it, Tifa would too, just don’t let her know that you got the idea from me, I feel I may have been too invasive…”

“Very well, it will be done as you wish.” With that said then a brief exchange with Goku, Gohan was teleported back to Earth with Goku’s instant transmission.

“So strong and smart, yet still naïve. I doubt Tifa would believe I the Supreme Kai thought of such an idea myself, but I suppose we will see,” the Supreme Kai thought to himself. Yet it was still incredible to know, that the saviours of the universe came down to such mortal youths.

Tifa had been walking around, trying to gather some intel while the others checked on gear and supplies, when she caught sight of the soldier.

Immediately, her eyes narrowed and she held up her hands, ready to defend herself if needed. With knowing that AVALANCHE was being hunted, no one associated with ShinRa could be trusted.

Watching him carefully, her gaze narrowed. "What are you doing here then?" she asked, cautious.

In hindsight, Noctis supposed he should have ditched the uniform but he'd left his post rather suddenly during the chaos of what had happened to sector 7. He hadn't been able to stay after that. He'd seen enough that night to start to question his belief in Shinra. He didn't just want out, he needed it. He'd have to find something else to wear before long. The SOLDIER uniform brought too much attention to him and Shinra didn't take too kindly to deserters. It was just lucky for him that they had more important things to deal with.

"Easy, I'm not here to fight," he assured her, slowly raising his arms to show he meant no harm. It was pure chance that he happened to come across them in Under Junon. "I'm just laying low until the next ship to Costa Del Sol departs."

A curious FF7 rebirth question if that's alright to ask? Does Tifa have long black hair like she does in Advent Children. Curious thought with the idea since I read somewhere Tifa has a dolphin theme like with her moves and hair?

((So Tifa does have more of a Dolphin motif in her design in Remake/Rebirth, much like her style in the OG game. I think they added to it in Rebirth with her move set design in battle.))

((Her hair is shorter in Advent Children [I think to convey her aging] and while we do see her limit break moves to a degree throughout the film, it's not as connected I think as it is in the games.))
