“Didn’t think I’d see you back here so soon.” Baekhyun smirks, his coy voice shooting shivers down your spine and you find yourself faltering in your movements. This wasn’t supposed to happen… You should turn back.

You stopped, took a breath to steady yourself before taking another hesitant step forward. It was too late to turn back and you were left with no other choice. This… man was far from being your first choice to turn to help. But things had been done, your loved ones were in danger and he was the only one who could help you… Only there was a price. Your soul belonging to Byun Baekhyun, King of the Underworld 

At your discomfort, the demon’s grin only seemed to grow and uncontrollably so. The flash of red against his dark eyes had you stuttering once more. 

“I - I thought about… what you had proposed.” Your meek voice only seemed to fill Baekhyun with more enjoyment as he let out a chuckle, his smirk never once disappearing from his face. “And… I’ve reached a decision.” You breathed in deeply. “Do you swear that my family will be safe? That nothing bad will ever come their way? Can you promise me that they will be released from here?” The demon hummed in amusement and his eyes twinkled with something you couldn’t quite make out. Gulping, you awaited his response; your fingers twitching at your side. 

It never was ideal to your show your fear so openly… and to a being like him no less.

“And in return, you will belong to me. For the rest of eternity, correct? To do my bidding, to be my loyal servant? That is the deal, isn’t it, little one?” His hand rested lazily against his cheek, his gaze piercing and suddenly empty. You clenched your fists, beads of sweat already lining up against against your forehead, before you managed a stiff nod in return. 

His eyes held you in place, turning cold and dread soon filled your entire being. You felt… entranced and you couldn’t, not even once, turn away. You struggled to form words as you began to open your mouth before he held a nonchalant hand up that had you pause completely. You waited. And that familiar expression of satisfaction lit up his face as he finally spoke.

“Then, we have a deal, little one. Tell me, how should we finalise that deal?”

“I have news,” he says to the group. There’s an unsettling amount of sausages, eggs and rolls on each of their plates. All varying amounts of coffee, milk and tea in their mugs. Kyungsoo is reading the Daily Prophet. He doesn’t pay attention to Baekhyun’s arrival as he stares down at the boys.
