45) This billboard advertisement is simple and creative! It is promoting a brand of duct tape, and just shows a picture of a roll of tape - but what stands out about this advertisement is the fact that the billboard is "held up" by the tape itself. This is a fun way to promote the product, and the picture speaks for itself - giving you the idea that "Wow, this tape is strong enough to hold up a billboard, it must be some good tape." It stands out and draws your attention - overall great billboard! A+

44) I love advertisements like this! It is so fun and creative. This giant ad is promoting the Bic Razor, and is illustrating the effects of the razor by comparing it to "cutting grass." When you see this ad, you immediately know what it is advertising, and it doesn't even need words to describe it. Unique, effective, funny, - ad approved by Lori! A++

43) This is a big advertisement that Lego did to promote their products. They used a giant crane to hold up a giant Lego, which is for sure an eye grabber. If I was walking down the street and saw something like this, I would definitely stop to take a look! It is almost artistic, and separates this ad from a lot of other different toys in competition. Very compelling! A++

42) This is a billboard advert for Law and Order, and is really creative. They use a giant light to represent the stereotypical interrogation scene. It illustrates the show, and is like giving us a peek into an episode, but on a giant billboard! It makes me want to go watch SVU right now, effective. A+

41) What a creative advertisement! This is IBM's Color Sensitive Interactive Billboards, that actually senses when people walk up to it, and changes color to whatever that person is wearing. Interactive adverts are really cool, and cause people to want to pay attention to advertisements even more, making them something more than just a product on a piece of paper that they pass every day. Making advertisements fun for the people can really help to increase awareness of that product or service, because the people will start to come to the advertisement, as opposed to the advertisement coming to the people. 40) This is an Adidas advertisement, and I have never seen anything like it. They are using different plants and vines to grow on this advert in order to make the shape and logo of the Adidas shoe. I love this advertisement, its really different from any I have ever seen and would cause everyone who walks by it to stop and look at it - an advertisers dream! I love this idea, and it could essentially create a new form of "greener" advertising, and instead of using paper and ink billboards, people could be using plants - getting a message across while creating oxygen! Just a thought... A+++

39) This is a billboard advertisement for a Miele vacuum cleaner. If you are sitting in your car driving to work or school, and see this advert, it definitely would grab your attention. Its playing off an implication that the vacuum has such good suction that it could suck a hot air balloon right out of the sky! With the giant picture of their vacuum on the billboard, it seems appropriate! Although, the brand name is upside down, which makes it hard to read and could deter the target audience to not identify with the brand, but overall its interesting, and a little bit funny, more billboards should have that extra "umph" . 38) This Ikea billboard advertisement uses a 3D effect to draw attention, and does a great job. It really looks like we are looking down upon this living room from an aerial view, which is definitely something different than the usual boring billboards we are used to seeing. It doesn't fail to grab peoples attention! A+

37) This is a really cool billboard advertisement for McDonalds breakfast menu. It uses an extra element to their billboard, sunlight! The shadow on the billboard creates a fork figure that, at different times of the day when the sun is at a certain point in the sky, pierces through the food, and eventually turns into the iconic McDonalds Golden Arches. This is such a cool idea and an attention grabber, great job in my opinion! I wish more advertisements were as unique as this. A++

36) This is a series of commercials for T-mobile featuring their new advertising face "Carly." The commercials make fun of AT&T and the iPhone, promoting their new android phones. These series of commercials all use Carly in a different pink outfit, illustrating the main color of T-mobile. The format of the commercial does remind me a lot of the Mac vs PC commercials, but overall I think they are effective. B

35) This commercial uses sex appeal to gain the audiences attention, and even though it is not in English, I still feel that it would be effective for the US audience because you pretty much understand what is going on the whole time, even with the language barrier. The surprise ending was also funny, and really made the advertisement stick in my mind, which is the best thing that it can do! A

34) Google AdSense an interesting way for advertisers to promote their product and get a lot of views. It enables advertisers to put the commercials or advertisements on your websites, one big contribute being YouTube, and for each ad view/click on the advertisement that you allow to be placed on your blog or video or whatever medium, you get a certain amount of money. Its pretty cool!

33) Here is another Old Spice commercial, featuring a different actor than the so recognizable "Old Spice Guy." I like the fact that they are widening their horizons and using different characters, yet sticking to the same theme. The graphics were pretty cool in this commercial and I thought it was pretty funny! B++

32) This is making fun of a Subway advertisement, and obviously is not real, but I think the concept is very funny - because advertisers actually do this same technique to get the audiences attention. Advertisers will do just about anything to grab your eye, and everyone knows that sex sells, so I would not be surprised at all if I saw this advertisement in real life. B

31) This ad is for PETA, with Pamela Anderson supporting the organization. I applaud her for going out on a limb to get PETA's message across, but I think she did it in a completely wrong way. She is promoting sex more than vegetarianism. It doesn't get any message across at all really, other than just stating that animals have muscles just like we do. I was not a big fan of this advertisement at all. D

30) I think this ad was cute, inspiring, and sporty – great for the Nike brand. It really shows the positive side of staying active, and urges kids to get out and play. It was very influential to women and it seems like it would inspire a lot of people to get out and participate in sports, and for people to let women play. It doesn’t necessarily discuss any of the Nike products, but it illustrates their attitude, and with their attitude their brand is put out there and has become very successful because of it. A

29) Personally this ad made me giggle during the first 20 seconds, but after that I just wanted to turn my TV off. It is too long and only makes sense to those who have actually seen that particular show before on Cartoon Network. Its audience base is quite limited, but to those who do watch the show it was probably enjoyable, but did not allow for their commercial to extend to newer audience members. C+
