Youur first meeting with the boar headed masked boy was,, interesting to say the least.

It was one of your first missions as a newly deemed mizunoto.

You still couldn’t believed you managed to pass the final selection in one peace.

With your heart pounding against your chest, you faced the demon with full force, managing to land a few hits with your nichirin blade.

Just before you could land the final hit, an inhumane yell echoed through the dense forest before a figure ran past you, slicing the demon’s head off effortlessly.

You gawked at the masked man, immediately beginning to tremble as you gazed at his naked upper half.

You both stared at each other in silence before you let out a screech, “P-P-PIG?!!”

“HUH?! 💢”

It was smooth sailing after that

You two traveled together after that, you agreeing hesitantly, taking on missions and defeating demons along the way.

Days turned to weeks, and weeks into months.

Inosuke couldn’t help the bashful blushes whenever you spoke, the same gentle smiles plastered on your face.

He couldn’t help the skipped beats of his heart whenever you brushed against him, or the way your eyes lit up at the sight of different animals as you two traveled.

Many believed for the boy to be dense as a rock, acting more on his instincts rather than thinking things through, but when it came to you, that was far from the truth.

He noticed the way you tensed up whenever he removed his mask. He noticed the way you would avoid eye contact at all costs, as if your life depended on it.

He noticed the little things about you, ones that you probably never realized yourself.

It was at these moments, the ones where you would subconsciously shrink into yourself that Inosuke swore he would help you overcome your fear, even if it meant he had to wear his mask the entire time through the journey.

Because you meant that much to him.

You sat alone in the middle of your shared bed with Dabi. Your face in between your knees and your arms wrapped around your legs. You rocked back and forth trying to convince yourself to calm down. Dabi doesn’t ever see you like this. You never want him to see you like this and luckily, when you’re with him is when you feel the safest. But when he’s gone, the memories begin flooding in again.

That’s what’s happening tonight, and it’s worse than usual. You hate that someone’s actions could affect you this much and you hate that this happened to you. But you know that asking yourself, “why?” is pointless because you know you’ll never get an answer. Why did this happen to me? Well, it’s sad but it’s something that you couldn’t control and you hated that. 

Usually you’d understand that it wasn’t your fault, that no matter what you were doing, you weren’t asking for it to happen. Some people are just sick and decide to take advantage of certain situations.

But on nights like this, you can’t help but wonder what you did to deserve it. Was it what you were wearing? How you were presenting yourself? Did you drink too much? 

“(y/n)?” 

Your head shoots up from your knees and your teary eyes meet with Dabi’s. Embarrassment floods your body as you try your hardest not to break down in front of him. The strongest man you know, seeing you at your weakest state, tears staining your cheeks along with your shared duvet below you. 

“(y/n), what’s wrong?” his voice is laced with worry as you feel the bed dip to your left and his calloused hands grabbing onto your wrists pulling them from your face.

“(y/n), look at me, look at me,” his voice is soft, not something that you’d usually hear from Dabi. Just his touch is enough to help you calm down and temporarily stop your brain from thinking about the traumatic events from your past. 

“You’re safe,” he nods his head, never taking his eyes off yours, “you are safe with me, okay?” 

You nod once in response as he pulls you into his lap, rubbing circles on your shoulders just to let you know he doesn’t plan on leaving you alone again anytime soon. 

Although you don’t expect him to save you from your thoughts, you do know that this is his way of letting you know you’ll never have to go through it alone.

i love makeup and beauty and skincare so this was really a fic i wrote for me and me only dsjkhd. my favorite gloss is either nyx buttergloss in praline or the elf lacquer lips!! im broke so i dont use a ton of highend. anyways!

plot: todoroki knows your daily routine down to your lipgloss. and yes, he notices the one time you decide to try something knew.  

Todoroki finds you pretty no matter what. 

He means that too. Whether it be half-awake with crust in your eyes and morning breath, or all dolled-up for an event later on in the evening - you’re pretty. He’s never cared about anyone appearance, not even really his own. He is a fan of people who take care of themselves, but beyond that you can look however you want. 

Dating you has made Todoroki very familiar with your complex beauty routine. 

You have the same routine. Your face makeup is left to a minimal but you never leave the house without good mascara and lip-gloss.  It’s just what completes you. The glittery shine that smooths over your lips as you press them together then pop. The way your lashes look so fluttery and big when you finally get the mascara on and you finally don’t look dead after a long day. 

You always put chapstick on first too, making sure to keep them kissable after you smooth your gloss over them. You’ve hoarded several over the years, but you have the same way that you buy and re-buy. 

After a random hit of motivation, you were cleaning through your makeup storage only to encounter the lip-glosses that you’ve hoarded for years. This must be how dragons feel with gold - smugly staring at the collection of them with a feeling of warm pride. 

It really is a shame that you don’t wear the other ones. They’re not bad. You just have your personal favorite. Still though, you give a resigned sigh and stare into the drawer. 

You decide then, you would at least try to switch out the one you took with you everyday. It wasn’t like it’d be hard, the drawer is right at your vanity where you get ready everyday anyways. 

You don’t think too hard about it. It just felt like a waste to not use all these perfectly good glosses. They were all different in their own - different glitters, different scents, different textures and transparencies. You like the soft blushy nudes that were specially suited to your skin-tone most. 

While the difference to you is really relatively small, there is one person who notices this details like it’s his job. You’re pro-hero boyfriend, Todoroki Shouto.
