Growing up.

I used to wonder why didn’t adults just hustle? If they wanted to be rich and have a stable life, they just have to work hard. 🙄

I realized as an adult, IT’S HARD TO WORK HARD.

It takes a lot of effort and strong willpower to do so.

It takes a sprinkle of luck and have the strength to fight off this world full of uncertainty.

It’s not that they’re lazy, they just really had to overcome a lot challenges and struggles to get them to where they are now.

They made decisions that may not align with the standards based on their well-being. And it’s okay. You know we are all just trying to survive. To do what we can. To matter. To earn. To be self-sufficient as we can.

Opportunities comes once in a blue moon.

You grab every opportunity that comes your way but don’t know if it will get you up on your feet or pull you down even further.

Getting stuck and not knowing if it’s the right move.

It’s not an easy feat.

To try hard and see your efforts lead to nothing.

To see everyone around you succeed and feel left out.

To feel down from the eyes of your parents feeling like you’ve let them down.

Adulting is not easy.

Being a strong and empowered woman is not a walk in the park.

And the daily self-doubt, “maybe it’s just not for me.”

About to fall apart. Getting swallowed up and falling deeper into this hole of anxiousness and uncertainty. I f*ckin’ feel lost, depressed and a failure all at the same time. I no longer even feel my worth. Lord, I need your guidance.

I’m already effin’ doin’ my best but I don’t see any silver lining anytime soon. I am holding into this crumpled up fist of hope which I don’t even know if there’s still a chance of it happening or not. If I am even really waiting for anything. I’m really lost and don’t know where to go. Time is running, the world is moving and it’s not going to wait for anyone.

Afraid to make a mistake and try again just to fail. Most of the plans I had have been ruined, it’s insane that I’m still in my right mind.
