thank you everyone for an amazing three years. i'll forever be grateful of the love i recieved through this blog and the amazing friends i've made. i'm now returning to my old blog, if you wish to follow i'll be under the name: @unprofessional-inhumanbeing where i will more thank likely just be shit posting, not much writing.

Despite their earnest attempts to try and help Jeongguk find and return back to his pod, it was proven to be quite difficult. They asked him a multitude of questions; from migration patterns, to hunting grounds, anything they could think of to help them find where his family might’ve gone. But considering Jeongguk was unfamiliar with maps and human directions, he had very vague answers. “Follow the warm waters. Away from the deep darkness.” Whatever that meant.
Standing in the shower, you let the hot water roll down your body as you thought over and over again of Jeongguk’s words. They were so simple and clear, yet you couldn’t think straight about what in the world they meant! Closing your eyes, you splashed some water in your face, you needed to stop stressing about it. At least for right now.
So deep in your thoughts, you didn’t hear the shower curtain be pulled open. A gentle hand on your shoulder partially startled you until you saw it was Yoongi behind you, just as naked as you were.
“You okay there, pretty?” His voice was soft as he wrapped his arms around you.
“Yeah, just. . . feeling like I’m losing my mind,” you huffed as you leaned back into his embrace.
“Well then.” Yoongi dragged his lips over the shell of your ear. “Why don’t you let me help you lose it a bit more?”
You let out a snort as you turned in his arms. “You’re ridiculous”

“Alone, undisturbed,” Yoongi defined, “We’ll be out in a sec, just- just go. Please.” He pointed out the door. Jeongguk seemingly understood as you watched from behind Yoongi’s shoulder as he turned on his heel and walked back out the door of the bathroom, shutting it.
Yoongi’s shoulders sagged once he was out, relieved. “I honestly forgot he was here for a moment.”
You chuckled nervously in response as you turned to face the shower stream, trying to calm your wildly beating heart. Never before have you ever been interested in being watched. Sure, you and Yoongi were adventurous from time to time, but it was always just the two of you. If you were ever interrupted, you would stop. So for you to suddenly be okay with Jeongguk watching, you threw yourself for a loop.
By the time the two of you were out of the shower and dressed, you found Jeongguk sitting at the foot of your bed, watching yet another movie on the television. Before you were confused as to why he watched so many TV shows and movies, then repeating the lines to you and Yoongi. But after learning what exactly he was, it clicked. He was learning, trying to figure out how to communicate. It was fascinating how fast he was able to catch on, despite still struggling in some areas.
“Alright, so do you wanna head into work today or should I?” Yoongi asked as he poured his coffee into a mug.
“Work?” Jeongguk called from over on the bed, his head cocked to the side.

“Can I go work?”

That was also a good point, with the help of some of the lab equipment you could try and narrow down possible locations of where the pod might be. It was worth a shot. “Alright, that settles it. Jeongguk, let’s get you changed. You’re coming to work with us.”

oooooooh this one was a poly one inspired by disney's gargoyles bc im a monster fucker at heart. i do actually have a little blurb for it, so enjoy

“Clean the gargoyles, why do gargoyles need to be cleaned anyways,” you muttered to yourself as you gathered your cleaning materials. Desperate for a job, you found yourself applying for any job that you had qualifications for. The only one that got back to you was a church groundskeeper. Not exactly ideal, but at least the pay was good. But regardless, here you were. Sundown on a church balcony, getting ready to clean the gargoyles.
It was one of the last tasks you had for the day and truly you dreaded doing it every single time. Especially as of lately as daylight savings came around and suddenly it started getting darker earlier, so large grotesque creatures glare down at you as you scrape them clean of the moss and bird poop that had gathered on them. However, the church had a heavy preference that you were to focus on the main seven gargoyles that lined along side the hall way between the sanctuary and the church yard. The statues were more humanoid than the others, having more softer features rather than the usual creepy faces one would associate with gargoyles. Apparently the church acquired them a few years ago, scalvaging them from a castle overseas. You’d admit, these ones freaked you out a bit less, but their large demeanor didn’t make them any less terrifying in the dark.
Behind you, the sky was a brilliant burnt orange as the sun began to set. Any moment it would disappear beyond the horizon, leaving you in the dark. Staring up at the first one in the line up, you gathered up your solution and began the process to clean the stone creatures. Holding it’s chin in your hand, you began gently brushing the side of its face. This one always felt a bit temperamental, the positioning of its hand cradling its face like it was the Thinker. Every so often, you found yourself staring at it, admiring the skilled craftsman ship on how they made it look so realistic.
“You know,” you huffed out as you scrubbed down its face to its neck. “If you didn’t have these horns. And this grim look on your face.” You patted its cheek. “You should smile more often,” you chuckled to yourself.
A deafening crack echoed in your ears. Removing your hand, you noticed a long crack going down the face of the gargoyle.

You stared up in horror as the stone continued to fracture all over the gargoyle’s body. With a snap all the stone broke away from it, revealing a man! A large winged blue man!
Similar noises were heard all along the line of gargoyles, one by one, they all broke free of the granite surrounding them. Above you, the blue man held his hand out for you.
“Are you alright?”
Unable to speak, you rolled around in the bush until you fell out. You had to get out of there. You were seeing things. Maybe you were drugged. Yeah, definitely drugged. The flutter of wings rings in your ears as you scrambled to your feet, until an equally large purple man jumped down in front of you.
“Where are you going?”
You aren’t exactly sure what happened next as the world went black.

EDIT WHEN I GET TO ACTUAL LAPTOP BC IM LAZY: perhaps the gargoyles were moved to like a church or a building and reader is supposed to clean them, so when the curse breaks she’s suddenly cleaning sexy half naked and HUGE men
also all of them are 6 feet+ to show how fucking huge they are
Same curse as the show; but this time it’s just a couple hundred years
They all are those colors and have wings and horns
They were all mated to each other at the castle they protected but always felt a piece was missing; it’s not till after the curse they they were placed as gargoyles on top of a tall apartment building/clock tower where reader often goes to hide away
When she sees them transform she rightfully freaks out because duh
Namjoon cuts her off before she manages to escape and she’s like “please don’t kill me”
They’re all confused, why would they kill a human that they’ve sworn to protect (they think they’re still at the castle)
Taehyung manages to calm her down, get her to stop freaking out over the fact that gargoyles literally came to life
They ask her what happened to the castle and she’s like what
They allow her to leave only if she agree to return again later and she does
she goes home and do research on the new gargoyles that were put in place
she learns the legends behind them and when she returns to them she tells them about it
They’re like “all the eggs. . they’re gone. . we’re the only ones left”
she feel sorry for them and promise to keep them company if they so wish
she bring them commodities like phones, tv, computers, books, and such to keep them entertained
They don’t really be superheroes bc i'm lazy and this is romance
They slowly realize that she’s their missing piece and try to court her and she’s like pardon
she doesn’t accept at first but slowly she adjust to them and listen to them and agree
maybe they gargoyles are threatened to be torn down because people are freaked out by them
She does everything she can to keep them there, saying how they’re hundreds of years old and were just brought here, they can’t just tear them down because they think they’re freaky
She wins and saves their lives and they’re grateful

Reader is on and off again lovers with stoner!taehyung, and as song goes only calls reader when he’s high out of his mind
History behind them is that he wasn’t always like that, he used to be a very kind and caring boyfriend when he was offered weed by jk
He started smoking more and more and at first, reader didn’t mind, even joining him a couple times but then she realized that usually when he’s high he’ll only want sex
This point is there is on and off lovers stuff starts
One night when they’re on again, tae calls her late in the evening (11pm-12am). She entertains him for a bit, just talking and stuff, then he’s like trying to lead the conversation somewhere sexy and she stops it
Fight starts, he calls her a prude or boring. She screams at him “well why do you only call me when you’re high?!”
“High?” “why do you only call me when you’re high?” fight starts out, and he’s like “no I do not!” She’s yelling back “name one time you’ve called me when you weren’t higher than the empire state building?!”
“Alright baby, just calm down, let’s talk again in the morning when you’re feeling better.” is what tae says and she just yells “no! Get a grip on yourself or lose my fucking number!”
She cries herself to sleep
Following morning, leaving the apartment and neighbor hobi (who she thinks is cute and is friends with; but since she was with tae, wouldn’t pursue)is like “rough night?” “what?” “i uh, heard you last night.”
Reader gets embarrassed and apologizes for causing a scene so late and won’t do it again
Hobi says it’s no big deal, he feels sorry for her because her boyfriend must be a jerk if he had her up screaming and not in a good way
“Well not anymore” she explains that she dumped him and is done with him
Hobi is like “oh? Can i take you out then?” reader thinks about it for a bit, and seeing how she’s always thought he was cute, decides to go for it
They date for a few weeks and it’s all good
Then taehyung shows up at her door and catches both hobi and reader by surprise
“look , i wanna apologize. I’ve been a jerk and I'm sorry. I’ll work on being better, baby. I promise, please.” he reaches for her hand and she retracts it.
She looks to hobi, who shakes is head no because not only is reader with him now, he knows how toxic he is
“Sorry, too late.” and walks into her apartment with hoseok in tow, leaving taehyung alone in the hallway
Make a second part of this with TAEHYUNG’S POV, and show the different side of the story and angst central.
