thank you all so much for all your hard work! i hope that the new year will been kind to you. can i ask why some of gekirin/syaku's djs are greyed out on their page? are you not translating them for some reason? i hope i'm not being rude!

The greyed out ones have not yet been scanlated, while the coloured ones have been scanlated, with links to the scans! We aim to work on all of Syaku’s works eventually, so the page will hopefully be in full colour one day :D

So sorry to bother you, but I'm not sure if the download for Sora wa Aoku is missing a file? I looked at both the windows and MacOSX to be sure, but I don't see file 001.jpg or 002.jpg? I just wanted to double-check that I didn't miss something.

Thank you for all your hard work, btw! I don't know what I would do without you all 😭

The pages were numbered at the time of scanning the doujin, and we tend to take out any blank pages between the cover and the start of the doujin, so don’t be alarmed if you see that the numbering doesn’t start from 1! We also tend to name the front and back cover 000 and 999 respectively.

Do let us know if you see any missing pages in the middle of the book, though!

BGS Turns 4!

Hello everyone!

I’m really sorry it was a slow year and we didn’t have many releases. There are still so many books we want to work on, so I promise I will try harder!! Thanks again for all your continued support <3

I could swear I was drafting our 3rd anniversary post just yesterday... Where did all the time go 😭😭

Back when we first started BGS, I was a college freshman with a lot of free time on my hands, and I could churn out books at breakneck pace (remember when we used to have weekly releases?). Fast forward to now, and I've become a full-fledged working adult with a 9-6 job... Unfortunately scanlation has had to take a backseat as I adjust to work life T_T Hopefully things will die down eventually and I'll be able to find more time to translate!

We've got lots of books scanned and ready to be worked on, but unfortunately we're a pretty small team and all of us have our other work+life commitments to attend to. We'll do our best to free up our schedules or find more help, but in the meantime, do bear with the slower release schedule :")

I got tumblr just for you guys, haha. Do you ever plan on translating more of Ake/Snail’s works? I appreciate how much you guys do for the Ghj community so much 🙏🏻💖

We have one last Ake doujin (that's in Japanese) left with us that we will definitely work on, but it's 90pgs long so... Yeah. TvT

We don't know how long it will take (if ever), but we hope to eventually work on some of Ake's Chinese-only books too!
