So… so Vax’ildan is a shepherd of souls after death…
Glintshore is going to be SO rough!
“I want my final words with you to be indignant and irritated.”
I mean, will he see Percy’s soul being snatched away and begin to be devoured by Orthax?
Will this be the culmination of their relationship if Vax has an opportunity to plead with Percy’s soul to return to his body, maybe calling him Freddy for the first time, begging his brother to reject the idea that he deserves to die.
“I kneel at his head and shoot out the wings, and I lend them to Percival, like the crow he is.”

I adore the implication that Lord and Lady de Rolo have perfected the Good Cop Bad Cop routine with strangers, where one of them will always portray themselves as the calm, understanding one and the other will be more stand-offish and harsh (both Percy and Vex can fulfil either role) in order to obtain information.
Of course with Bell’s Hells, it wasn’t such a simple routine because of the added trauma it brought but they were still able to use it to their advantage and keep each other in the loop at all times.
Love the sneakiness of Vex saying Percy will just have to deal with them going ahead with the resurrection only for it to be revealed that while they were astral projecting she’d clearly told Percy what was going on, got her legendary weapon she won from an archfey, and set up soldiers around and within the house in case Delilah came back. She so easily played into the Hell’s perception of the two of them, like she genuinely did want to help them and do what she could to rectify Laudna’s death and Percy genuinely was more cautious and less willing to do anything that could potentially risk bringing Delilah back, but she also knew that’s all BH’s had seen of the two of them and they don’t know how they operate, don’t know how much she also hates Delilah Briarwood, or the trust she and Percy have in each other, how good they are at balancing off each other, and she was absolutely going to use that to her advantage in case Delilah did come back.

“I’m not making any more guns…. But the size…. But it’s a weapon…. Could I make one that small? ….I think I could…. Wait, but how would…. Oh… actually that might be possible…. But no, no I’m not going to build another…. I mean the bullets would also have to be…. Ah but if you were to add… oh wait… No, why am I even contemplating this? I’m not- …..I mean it could be done…. huh.” (Casually starts sketching in his book under the table…)
- Lord Percvial de Rolo’s internal monologue if asked to build a tiny gun for a wildfire spirit monkey.

“Percy and Vex wouldn’t want to help Laudna because of Delilah.”
Ok, here’s the thing:
Delilah has been killed 3 times. The three that personally saw to those deaths happen to be the Lord and Two Ladies of Whitestone, Percy, Vex and Cassandra. Yes it would be risky bringing Launda back, but if they were told who she was, what she was used for, and who she represented on that tree, I do not doubt that they would go,
“We’ve dealt with that witch before, we can do it again. This girl deserves a chance to live”
and would absolutely help resurrect her.
Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know. But their characters, from what I have learnt in the years I have watched them, do not strike me as being afraid of Delilah Briarwood anymore.
If anything, to quote what Percival said of her husband, she would just ‘bore’ them now.

Sometimes I lie awake at night and imagine Orthax still lurking about in the Abyss, absolutely livid, clawing to return to Exandria to properly enjoy the fruits of his shared labour…
…and to retrieve the one soul that got away…

Spoilers for Campaign 1 and 3
* * * * * * * * * *
Jokes have been made and we have all had a good chuckle… But actually watching the latest episodes again reinforced in me just how sad the situation is.
And I am of course talking about the guns.
Because so many Critters (including cast members) have said that it is sweet that Percival gets a happy ending despite everything happening to him and while it is true in the short-term, it isn’t really true in the long-term, is it?
Percy was so insistent that his notes be destroyed, that any firearm found beyond Whitestone be collected, that “silence would be the greatest eulogy”…. So the amount of guns that are just casually mentioned in Bassuras is one very severe punch in the gut.
How happy of an ending can you ultimately have knowing that you created one of the deadliest weapons in Exandria and that every death that occurs because of one is ultimately your fault?
Orthax never stopped tormenting Percy and he never will. He and Ripley made sure that Percy would collect a lot of blood on his hands for the rest of his living life and whatever positive legacy Percy leaves behind in Whitestone will be tainted by the dark one he and Orthax will leave behind in every barrel of every gun.
Percy resurfaces in Taliesin’s face for just a brief moment every time firearms are mentioned, in both Campaign 2 and 3. Jokes are made, sure, but I get the impression that he’s also aware that there is a white-haired, demon-scarred Character inside him that isn’t laughing at all.
Just something to think about.
So anyway, let’s get Fearne and Mister a gun!

Minor C3 Spoilers
~~~~~~~~~~~~
With every episode that passes, it’s giving the Hellion’s inevitable future visit to Whitestone an even greater chance of being absolute carnage. Like, where are they even going to start?
“Hey Lord and Lady of Whitestone! So this dead chick (who was hung from the Sun Tree as a warning for you Lady Vex’ahlia) has Delilah Briarwood in her head, hope this isn’t a problem, and this Faun from the Feywild (yes, another Faun from the Feywild - your favourite!) would really like Lord de Rolo to make a small version of his gun to give to her fire spirit monkey so he can aim his poop better. Baby’s First Pepperbox type thing. Oh, we’re the ones who sent you Sir Bertrand Bell’s dead body, btw.”
And the strangest thing is I don’t even think Percy and Vex would be the sort to be too weirded out by it. They’d just shrug and ask if they wanted mimosas.
