I would be super comfortable vibing with someone else while they played a Zelda game though!

You know at first, when you mentioned that this mission was probably harder than the average one, I thought it was because they were after the king of Katolis.

But then I remembered Rayla... Rayla who he thinks of as a daughter, and how she was going with them.

And Lain. And Tiadrin who supposedly ran.

The weight Runaan could have had to carry on his shoulders.

All this before the mission even started.

That could have been the hardest part.

Not to mention during the mission.

The Dragon Prince's egg was not destroyed. Rayla and the princes each have their own journeys ahead now.

Sometimes they cry from how much it hurts or from the stress, but..

..I don't think the they're giving up anytime soon either.

Then it's a cycle

Runaan's mission starts and ends with his own tears.

He sheds his first tears mere seconds into performing the lotus ritual.

His mission ends with tears, too, mere seconds after launching his shadowhawk arrow into the sky.

The fact that he was holding his husband's handiwork both times is not lost on me. Aaaaangstyyyyyyyy

This mission was probably several orders of magnitude harder than the average. I wonder if Runaan usually cries his way through missions or if he generally keeps it together better than this. Does having Ethari's creations in sight, in his hands, make him softer? Is it bad that I hope it does, as dangerous as that may be for him?

It's been Quite A Year, huh, so seeing how many times Runaan has basically stress-cried at work and kept pushing forward is oddly inspiring, in an inside-out way. The ideal solution is not to have the stress in the first place. But the resilience of a dedicated spirit is reassuring, too.

Never give up, never surrender.

And crying is okay, if you need to.

A watercolor project? Those be the best kind of projects. Lots of fun! (Watercolor has been my favorite medium for the longest!)

I also got to see my bestie since in person school has started again! Although, it's rough because she's moving back to Canada at the end of the year, and her siblings left for college. But I'm happy to see her in most of my classes.

Funny story- At first, people think she and I are sisters, they even get our names confused sometimes. (I don't understand why, though, our names are completely different.)

Cats are fun, yes very fun and adorable.

Ooh, another funny story! - Everyone I knew from 2 years ago is now taller than me. (It's not funny on my part though, they keep saying I shrunk.)

Anyways, there have been some ups and downs, but I'm content at the moment.

I’m in a sorta foreign land, going on road trips to visit people, I’ve been crashing in everyone’s basements lately, first day of college starts in 9 or 10 days, I still need to buy shit like lamps for my room and pots to fucking live because I can’t ship those over, my cousin is angry with me because I’m apparently bringing honour to the family for once because I’ve “got everything all figured out” and will be “so successful” (but we don’t have time to unpack all that), I found out I’ve got a lot of Jewish blood in me, and some serious shit just went down in my family that is honestly quite scary (also a lot to unpack), but yeah. I’m great. ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

Oh! Funny story! I was on call with my bank last week to apply for a debit card and the lady asked me a question and I responded in Italian. multilingual.exe has stopped working, rebooting in 30 seconds.

I started the final portion of an art project I’ve spent the last month on. Hint: it’s a watercolour!

Oh! I GOT TO SEE MY BESTIE!!! We only get to see each other every few years, so it was really nice.
