Mr basil I have a case for you its about a murder thier were 2 adults and 2 kids so a family of four the parents looked like they were strangled to death while one kid had thier head decapitated heres the tricky part some of the people said they heard a gun shot but the wooden door had a chip on it like a knife was thrown at the child and the blood was near the livingroom to the door so it must have been a slow death or a fast death and they left a strain hair its brown/blond kind of hair can you solve this problem? From raven
This description makes more sense but still not entirely clear.
If I had to make a blind guess I would say one of the neighbors is the answer however I'm basing it on the limited information provided.

Hello again Mr basil here's a question
There were a family of four tow children tow adults. The father of the kids died from being choked by a cable cord but his body was never found the mother head decapitated yet no blood the children had a stab in them yet no wound to be found a gun shot heard yet no bullet to be found. Yet the police found the corrupt in three day a women a man and a child. The women said she was their neighbor for years and hang out the man said they were college buddies and the child said the daughter friend. Witch one is the killer?
From raven good luck detective you need it
Apologies, Raven, I'm afraid your riddle is not clear therefore I cannot comment on it.

Looking forward for your regards (if you ever still running the account)

Thank you for your inquiry. Our household was under the weather for an extended period of time therefore we weren't accepting any new cases and certainly coming to answer correspondence was not high in my priorities.
I shall endeavor to make my absences shorter.

With Christmas Day 9 days from now, this was a wonderful find of Basil inspecting a gift given to him. It reminded so much of the artwork I made eons ago of Basil doing the same thing with Olivia and Dr. Dawson looking on. This art was created by Corbin Delaney Illustration and has been added to the Professional Artists page. Please check out his other incredible works at his Facebook!

Is this a spelling lesson? I haven't the time for your trivial and nonsensical drivel.

Selamat sejahtera, Basil!
I have a rather preposterous question. What year are you living in?
I just needed an answer seeing that you have no idea about the future (from your perspective; I live in year 2022, so the "future" you are unable to grasp is the present day in my perspective).
I will wait for an answer, but I am alright if you DO find this question preposterous.

I am indeed perplexed that you would claim to live so far ahead in time. However perhaps you miswrote your date, though even then I cannot conceive of a plausible date that you were attempting to pen.
It is turn of the century, @aniquil .

Greetings, Basil. You heard off of ol' Ratigan as of lately or as he decided to go quiet?
I make it my business to keep tabs on him, his associates and their combined activities. So whether he makes himself known or not to me matters very little.

Dear detective,
You wound me, good sir! Such harsh words—makes me wonder what else that sharp tongue of yours is capable of. Perhaps you would be so kind as to educate me?

I have not the time to waste. You may read of my exploits or choose disappointment. I leave it to you. Good day.

Hello, Mr. Basil! I hope you're having a good time.
I know that you have advanced knowledge in the fields of mathematics and chemistry, and that you usually use them in your daily life as a private detective.
My question is: Are there other sciences that you consider of utmost importance in the fulfillment of your work, in addition to those mentioned?
I apologize if there's something that was not understood, my mother tongue isn't the english.
-T
Firstly, I find your English quite strong.
Now to answer your question: I would say a study of biology can come in handy. The psychological sciences which are becoming prevalent can help though I admit that just following a train of thought and patterns of behaviours in similar individuals does just fine. Otherwise many of the other skills required such as good observation and data collection, analytical thinking and ability to deduce things -to name a few- are not necessarily a scientific process at this time but of the utmost importance.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Hello, Basil
I know you don't want to talk about your family, but just as in "what if" you have someone in the family, as in niece (or nephew) who wants follow your footsteps and become great detective like you?
I should hope that in this hypothetical scenario they are prepared for a life of study, observance, science and devotion to their profession as well as an ability to handle the dangers that come with trying to undermine criminals.
