THIS IS THE MOST ADORABLE THING.

The Last Empress, Musical Emperor AU. In which a conversation on twitter sparks a downward spiral into a version of the royal family being far from their canon counterparts.

Deets: Emperor Lee Hyuk is a shy (there’s some backstory there, borrowed from Liar Game) and kind (I’ve officially dubbed the canon counterpart trashman, any future references of Lee Hyuk are to this version lol) emperor. He does what he can for the citizens, often sneaking out of the palace in disguise with his most trusted bodyguard, Na Wang Shik, with some backup in the palace from his assistant, Min Yura. The emperor does all sorts of stuff, from actual donations to loans with no interest, even publicity stunts specially arranged to make sure there’s more traffic to keep a place going. I suppose he’s a little weird in how he chooses to help others. One day he stumbles upon a musical theatre and is floored by actress Oh Sunny, dubbing himself as her no.1 fan. Cue shenanigans for him to approach her and take a liking to musical performances himself.
