Please please please I know we all love Friends and Chandler was our favourite character and Matthew always put a smile on our faces and that’s all amazing but can we please please please talk about this:

For me the thing that bothers me the most about Secret Invasion (aside from Maria Hill and Talos's death, my fav characters), is not all the plot holes or the shitty loose ends or the failure of the actual story... It's the fact that Skull!Rhodey witnessed these humans working their asses off to fix the Universe to bring hundreds of billion of beings back, and was still like "Nah, I'ma fuck these bitches over".

Aquaman 2

So about a year ago I read spoilers on Reddit on a source that leaked the supposed plot in its entirety of Aquaman 2. Everyone thought it was fake/trash because the plot and the story sucked... Like I'm not joking it was really fucking bad.

Well turns out the trailer dropped at the con confirmed several plots of that leak.

Which... sucks because I did enjoy the first move and had high hopes the DCU wouldn't continue to crash into a fiery grave.

Le sigh.

I'm not mad, just disappointed.

Is it bad I was kinda hoping that Will was gonna turn out to be asexual?

Like in S2 when Will is struggling with his friends because they're going on and getting into girls and stuff and he's just being awkward.... It very much reminded me of a conversation I once had with my asexual bestie and what she has to deal with when it comes to friendships and love and feeling left in the dust at times. Part of me built it up in my head they might go this route because how cool would it have been if we got that kind of representation? You hardly ever see asexual characters in the media.

Kinda wish they'd have gone that route instead of yet another love triangle. Not knocking what they did at all, but we already had like 3 or 4 at this point.

Things I hope don't come to pass in Stranger Things season 5

Jonathan or Steve dying just so one of them can ship with Nancy.

The love triangle is cute but it's getting tiring now. How much will they or won't they will they have to put us through? Let her choose a guy or better yet, choose neither.

Steve just dying in general.

This boy had the biggest character arc and growth of any character on the series. I would hate for him to just turn up and DIE for the sake of plot, even if it's clear he WOULD die for any of his children.

Jonathan remaining a stereotypical stoner.

Not hating on weed, I love to smoke pot too. But I guess I just wanted more for Jonathan, I wanted him to do something substantial so he could stick it in his father's face.

All of the main characters living.

Hear me out before you come at me with the pitchforks, but I am so tired of the main cast living without any real, real consequences /deaths close to the core. I feel like season 4 you could have really used a death of one of the mains to really heighten the urgency and the need of what they were doing. Loved the Max thing and I can't wait to see what's going on (Do I sense her becoming Vecna's vessel???), but kill -someone- closer. How unsafe would you feel if Vecna took Mike off the playing field or Will? Permanently. Not comatose. I'm not saying kill for shock value like the Walkind Dead or Lost... Kill someone that is legitimately going to be a surprise and going to CRIPPLE the offense.

Jason Carver is every Conservative Christian who fears things he doesnt understand and blames it on things he doesnt like against all reasoning and I know he's motivated a lot by grief so isn't thinking clearly anyway and I get that but

It's so funny that he watched Eddie try and sneak away on a boat, fail, try to start the engine, fail, try to row away faster than his pursuers, fail, and Jason still says "that man is dangerous and satan has given him supernatural telekinetic powers"

Eddie Munson is the best representation of a DND player in the 80's I've seen. He's a genuine loser. He lives in a trailer park, he's been held back God knows how many times, and he's a drug dealer.

But that's what makes him a fantastic character, DND is his escapism. If you ask most of the hardcore DND players, especially old ones, DND was their escape from their shitty life. It was the only thing keeping them sane.

Of course DND is for everyone, and all different types of players have their own reasons to play. But Eddie is a wonderful representation of the escapist player, who fell in love with the game because it was a place not just for fun, but for meaningful vacation.
