Might consider making a comeback.
No promises as of yet, but I recently saw the Solomon movie and itâs reignited my Fate muse somewhat. Weâll see how long it persists for before I commit to anything.

Update
Iâm just going to be real with you all: between running my other blogs, working on various projects IRL, and just generally lacking muse for my Fate characters, Iâm probably going to set these blogs on an indefinite hiatus. It pains me to do it, but I think itâs for the best at this point, given how long Iâve kept some of you waiting⌠The very small handful of partners I have here, anyway.
I do hope to conclude our RPâs at some point in the future, and if you wish to see them done feel free to message me, but for now you can mainly find me on @infinite-xerath and @talesofruneterra.
Thank you all for your patience, and I hope to see you all again someday.

When Frankenstein was seized by one of the creatures, he hacked off the tendrils, releasing her from its grasp. The swarm multiplied again, which made him pissed. âI donât know. Every time we defeat a number of them, more appear.â
Unfortunately, as the Servants were busy dealing the creatures, their Master was wide open. That seemed to be the creaturesâ end goal, as they abruptly captured Ritsuka and dragged the young mage through an ominous portal. âUh!â Fran raced after them, but unfortunately, the portal closed before she reach it. She wound up swinging her mace at empty air before the creatures suddenly vanished again, losing interest in the Servants.

Quickly he severed the tendrils coming towards them. The creatures let out a unison of piercing screams as black blood gushed from where he cut their appendages off, and fell with a thud. Enraged, the swarm expanded their numbers by twofold.
âWhat are they?â Ritsuka looked around, trying to make sense of their current situation. Suddenly, one of the abominations lunged at the young Master, only to be batted aside by Fran. Just then, one of them wrapped their tendrils around the Berserker, lifting her struggling form into the air.
âUH! RRRRAAAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!â
Ritsuka stared up in horror as their Servant was carted off. âCu, help her!â

Cu Chulainn assumed this was the case. He stopped in his tracks and inspected his environment. âBetter get ready.â He told them as he gripped his Gae Bolg. Who knew if the being would strike at this moment using the now eldritch realm.
Moments later, the group would find themselves slowly being surrounded by several such floating creatures. Their appearance was utterly unearthly, like a mix between squid and insect, and their very presence seemed... Wrong. Fran growled again, the air around her crackling ominously. Just then, the creatures closed in, lashing out with their tendrils all at once.

Whatever the creature was, it seemed to refuse being caught. Which explained the gradually thick air. Despite that, both Servants and their Master continued to march on.
Suddenly, the entire landscape seemed to change. Ritsuka wasnât sure when it had happened, but there was no mistake: one minute things had been relatively normal, and the next, the whole world seemed to be made up of distorted colors and shapes. âW-What happened? Where are we?â
Fran froze as well, growling as she inspected her surroundings. Something was definitely wrong here... Was it that creatureâs doing?

Her recoil was barely noticed by the knight. Was it his lack of sanity or the result of his excitement from meeting her here that caused her reaction to fly over his head? Likely a mixture of the two. Astolfo remained off in his own world until the flower sheâd held out towards him suddenly brought his thoughts back to earth. What a sweet gift.
âBerserker, youâre far too kind. This is beautiful.â
He reached out and gently took the flower in his hand. He held it up, carefully examining the flower as if it were some form of precious gem. Yes, it really was beautiful. To think that even here, a castle that served as the home for such a cruel master as his, such beautiful life could grow. Was his mind more composed perhaps Astolfo would have shared some profound thoughts on this but instead he was content to simply admire the flower.
âIâm not going anywhere particular. Why donât we walk together Fran? I can point out all my favorite spots to hide from my master.â
His reaction surprised her a little. Did Rider also like flowers? And then he called her kind... Did he forget who he was talking to? Evidently not, because he suddenly used that nickname again. Upon hearing him utter âFran,â the monster growled a little; a subtle reminder that she wanted him to use her Class name only.
Despite her annoyance, though, Berserker didnât fail to notice that last part. Astolfo was... Hiding from his Master? Why would he do that? What would even be the point? They could communicate through thought, and she could summon him to her side any time she desired... Even if that would mean using a Command Seal. Of course, Berserker barely knew anything about the Black Faction Masters aside from her own, but most seemed like people she wanted to avoid. In that respect, she could understand why Rider might try to hide from his...

âYahoo!â
A voice called out loudly. It heralded the arrival of a certain paladin. Unlike Berserker, Rider was under far less supervision by his own master. Except for when she bound him up for her own interests he was free to explore the castle to his heartâs content. Something that led to him almost slamming into Fran as he skipped down the hall.
âBerserker!â
His voice called out as he skidded to a halt before her. Were he a normal human, without the agility and grace granted to heroic spirits, he probably would not have stopped in time to avoid her. Regardless of near crash, he began speaking as if nothing had happened.
âFunny to bump into you here. I would have thought youâd be with your master, it seems like the two of you get along better than mine.â
It seemed any hope for solitude that she had was dashed now that he was here.
Berserker froze upon hearing that voice. Rider... Before she knew it, the overly-cheery knight was right in front of her, causing the monster to recoil a bit. He... Unnerved her for some reason. No, unnerved wasnât the right word. There was just... Something about him that she couldnât quite place.
âUh...â Berserker grunted in response. Well, she couldnât deny his accusation, at least. Caules treated her well enough, but that was why she was alone; he trusted her enough to not feel the need to accompany her everywhere. Of course, she couldnât actually communicate any of this with her speech impaired...
Suddenly, Berserker reached up and offered him a flower. She didnât know how much good it would do, but hopefully it would calm Rider down a little.

âQuit dawdling. We canât afford to lose it.â And that was before he darted to where the thing had fled. Enjoying the tranquility offered by rural Poland could wait.
âUh!â Fran wasted absolutely no time charging ahead to give chase.
âFran wait!â Ritsuka looked at Cu for a moment before sighing and chasing after Fran. There was no sign of the ominous creature theyâd spotted, but the air was definitely growing heavier. It seemed that they were on the trail, but something felt off...

The monster encounters @flowersofchaldea
It had been two days since Berserker of Black was summoned. She spent much of that time exploring her factionâs castle or otherwise picking flowers in the garden. Today, she was doing the latter, without the company of her Master this time. Sheâd been deemed âdocileâ enough outside of combat that constant supervision was warranted... A little insulting, but Berserker was grateful for the solitude...

A town full of people who could not trust outsiders due to previous awful circumstances that happened to them. Unsurprising. âWe caught a glimpse of a mysterious object before it disappeared.â He told his Master.
Well, Ritsuka certainly wasnât expecting to be run out of town so suddenly upon arrival. Still, this might be a good opportunity to sight-see and enjoy the Polish countryside... It never hurt to have a little extra positivity, did it?
âYou did?â The mage had unfortunately been too busy with the townsfolk to notice himself. âDid either of you see where it went?â
âUh.â Fran nodded and pointed in the direction that the odd creature had been seen flying off in. It did seem to her like the odd creature could have something to do with this whole mess.

I swear Iâm still alive. Life has just been very busy for me lately. I do legit want to get back into roleplaying Fran in the near future. I think Iâll try writing some drabbles with her in the coming days to try getting back into the swing of things. Thank you to everyone who has the patience to stick around.

Cu Chulainn too noticed the shape his fellow Berserker pointed at. Only when the man approached them did he turn to him. âWeâre here to search for the source of the anomaly.â He told without revealing their identity.
Unfortunately, this did little to put the people at ease. âYouâre here to do what? I donât know what youâre talking about, but you all need to leave, now! Enough bad things have happened around here. We donât need suspicious strangers like you roaming around!â The other townspeople seemed to be in agreement, though the look of fear in their eyes was all-too-evident to Fran.
âA-Alright...â Ritsuka held up their hands defensibly. âI guess weâre not welcomed here...â With that, the group was effectively driven out of town.

The moment the townsfolk stopped attacking them, he did the same. âWere they under control or something?â He was almost certain someone manipulated them to do their bidding. âWhat⌠happened?â Asked one of the townspeople as he tried to clear his mind.
As the confusion seemed to subside, Fran spotted something in the distance: an unusual shape that looked to hovering on a nearby hillside. âUh!â She pointed to the shape in question just as it vanished over the top of the hill, though before anyone could really address it, a young man approached the trio from Chaldea.
âExcuse me, but who are you three? Youâre wearing some rather... peculiar outfits.â He paused, eyes growing wide. âWait, does that young lady have a horn? Does that man have a tail?â
âUh...â Ritsuka started. âWe come in peace?â

âAmazing Fran-san! Thatâs really incredible strength!â Kaban beams in encouragement, truly impressed with the Berserkerâs strength. It was clearly much greater than her own as a human. Maybe they had a good chance to make it out without getting eaten.Â
âI wanna help out with the fight too Kaban-chan, Ritsuka. What can I do?â Serval asks after a moment not wanting to feel like she isnât being helpful. She isnât sure sheâs as strong as Fran is, but Serval thinks her claws are still pretty good weapons.
âServal-chan, what if you get behind us in case the wolf like animals try to attack from the other side too.â Kaban suggests.Â
A part of Ritsuka wished that Mash were here to help with defense, but as things stood, they might be able to make it out of here just fine. Serval wasnât a Servant, but she possessed strength enough to fend off these monsters. âRight! Fran, we need you to clear us a path! Serval and I will focus on defense!â Though his magecraft was weak, Ritsuka was still a mage, capable of conjuring small barriers to help defend Serval along with a few other tricks.
âUh!â Fran grunted understandingly and turned her attention toward the werewolves. Three lunged at her all at once, but Fran effortlessly managed to parry one before batting aside the other two. She then followed up by smashing the first enemy into the ground. âHRRAAAAH!!!!!â Fran charged ahead, her mace now crackling with electricity each time it struck one of her enemies.

If Fran and Cloak had to choose between living in New York city or living in Oregon City for the next five years, which one would they go for?
I imagine they'd both choose Oregon, since it seems considerably less crowded and has an overall much better view. Of course I haven't used Cloak in QUITE a while...

Upon hearing her command, he put away his spear. Grinning as he punched into his palm, this would be the first time he had done unarmed combat. Of course, he must snap them out of the trance with gentle blows, not outright kill them. That was what Ritsuka wanted him to, right?
Ritsuka had no idea if it would actually snap them out of the trance, but knocking them out would more than suffice for now. Sure enough, the townspeople were quickly subdued with the combined might of the Servants, though there still seemed to be something off about them.
Suddenly, however, the fighting stopped. The people who had yet to attack all began to clutch their heads in confusion, stumbling around and looking confused. Fran paused. âUh?â
âI donât know whatâs going on... But it seems like theyâve stopped now.â
