It's incredible how people have been protesting pants and skirts not having pockets but not a single peep is heard over the fact that skirts no longer have underskirts by default. Underskirts (or lining) was a thing when I was a child, no skirt would be made without lining, you didn't have to think and check if your whole ass is visible in a skirt because lining was a thing!!!! Now most skirts don't and it's simply because it's cheaper, fuck the fact that a customer doesn't want their panties shown in broad daylight, it saves a couple of cents on material.

#so when i was younger i'd wear what I'd call skorts #which were literally denim shorts with a shirt overtop of them #which honestly may have been a real thing #as soon as those stopped being found literally anywhere #i just got shorts #because fuck that openness #not to mention the ones as time passed were thinner and just worse #i just wanted a denim skirt with something under it #that was it #i literally remember how thick and durable those things were #if i didn't grow out of them i probably would've kept them until the gender shit started turning up #either way i'm tired of things falling apart being way too thin and coarse and having everything ride up roll down and not keep shape #hell i have to replace my jeans twice yearly which is why i started only buying one or two a year #because they either fray chafe or just rip at the thigh #bc even though they are properly sized. they can't withstand use #side note. the only good quality jeans i have shouldn't be a mens' pair that i picked up bc i wanted some damn pockets #they're thick and aren't fraying at the thigh in the slightest

Fucking hell. The beast being the larger one. The dog one. The cat has too at one point but it wasn't to the point where I just fell back on the floor laughing and cringing in pain. Or directly around my fucking nipple, leaving little red dots in a square around it. Tbf Rosie was being playful and I was teasing her with this growl-like snort which I always do with my dogs, and she started getting mouthy bc puppy, and usually I just pull my hand/arm away fast enough to not get a hard chomp when she launches (teaching her not to bite HARD) but when I moved my arm she just got a mouthful of titty and CHOMPED. I was the squeaky toy at that point. Squeaky laughing. OW. She stopped after I reacted but my boob hurts.

Just saw a TikTok complaining about ‘kitten’ as a pet name in fanfiction and while I do agree with their discomfort on that one the comments were FULL of people mentioning all the other common pet names ?? Like honey babe baby sweetheart etc ?? Is your partner just supposed to call you by your name the whole time ????????

The interview went GOOD. I was told to get questions ready. Look prepared. Look nice. Go all out. I Did. I got a list of 5 questions, I talked to the branch manager for like an hour on a video call. Very friendly people here.

Rosie has already learned how to stay very well. We've learned she's just straight up scared of moving cars (I mean, fair, considering how she was picked up.), and is reactive to little dogs barking at her. Earlier the neighbor's little thing (literally a mangy maltese mix) ran up to her barking (this is normal. she's ALWAYS loose) and she started barking back, hackles up, growling, everything. So instead of waiting for the neighbor to scoop her little thing like I did with Tabby (bc Tabby didn't give two shits) I scooped my little thing. I was standing there with my bf attempting to block a tiny dog with this big catahoula puppy under my arm like a toy poodle. (bf for size comparison there) It takes the neighbor a minute, but she comes up, saying sorry about her little dog again (which honestly she should just get a lead for) and scoops her up. Rosie is taking a bit. She's so nervous. She's now good with the bf's niece, who's like 4. We stopped downstairs while his mom was watching her after that walk and I kept Rosie close, worried about her nervousness, and this kid walked Right Up. Told her to come, sit, and lay down. Rosie, who tends to not lay down until the 4th time I say it, did all of it. Immediately. The niece goes up to bf's mom, asks for treats, and just gives Rosie a handful and I'm just sitting there in shock. Mom was too. She never does that. That was weird. Just a few days ago we were scared Rosie would bite the kid. But nope. That happened.

She's being such a good girl.

Update!

Tomorrow I'm having the REAL interview with the branch manager over a video call! Steps are stepping and tests were passing and all I need to do is look nice and be friendly at this point! :D

The branch is literally not even physically fully there. There is a building. I've seen it. It's just not done yet inside. It's opening in the summer, whether that is like late May or sometime in July. Either way, it's a career step in at a fucking credit union. Like. This could end up being a full-blown actual career if I'm able to stick with it. The place isn't open. I'd be one of the first employees for the branch. It's NEW. It's SHINY. It's Not Very Busy because it's a brand new sector of town. And going there because everything in the main/old part of town is FULL.

I want this job. It's a great start and I want a real job for once. So sick of retail and restaurant rat races which I am apparently unqualified for after a short gap in employment and a year of remote working/freelancing. Which the bank HR rep thought was a neat job btw! I have not been a legal employee of a place since 2020 and companies HATE THIS. I love this though. This is great.
