It seems turning off asks just directed the hate to my private messages, so because that didn't work, asks are back on, but because of the overwhelming amount of hate messages and even some death threats, so I'm going to take a step back. I love you all so much <33 (if i don’t respond to your asks/messages that’s why, I promise i’m not ignoring you 💗)

The byler slides are like a child to me LOL, so i’ll always keep updating them in my absence 🥰

On another note, after learning more about the duffers stealing the idea for stranger things, I don’t really want to support them anymore, and I am kind of becoming a Netflix hater in general (because they just keep prioritising and pushing these giant, fantastical, Marvel/James Bond-like projects, over their more interesting ones imo, but I get that it’s all about money. Hopefully one day we’ll see a media company care more about quality than dollars 😵‍💫)

why do people automatically assume we are talking about a romantic relationship when we say mike's relationship with will was ruined in volume 2? yes, we ship byler, but that is not at all what we're talking about.

mike and will were eachothers first friends. they relied on eachother. dustin and lucas had eachother, it was always mike and will paired together. they were eachothers favorite person, they loved eachother so much, they valued and cared for eachother.

now it's season 4 and mike has el. will no longer has his partner in crime. will is no longer mike's "favorite person". will has nobody who would choose him above all.

mike saying his life started the day he found el in the woods has so much more depth than what we think it means. it means his life hadn't started when he met will, his first friend. it meant all those campaigns and sleepovers weren't enough for his life to start. it meant that will didn't have as much of an impact on his life as eleven did.

but alongside that, it meant that he's completely fine with the fact that he found out his best friend was missing and possibly dead all because he found el that day.

"he didn't mean it like that", so he either knows that he found out will went missing that day and thinks it's worth it because of el, which is fucked up, or he knows it's not actually the day his life started because he was suffering.

and if it's the first one then we have lost the mike wheeler we once knew.

the mike who would die for will, who would choose him above everyone. the mike who was will's best friend, his partner in crime.

mike and will's friendship has been destroyed, and it's so upsetting to go back and watch the previous seasons and see how close they really were, and how much mike cared for will, because we know that it's never gonna be the same.

so yeah, that's why we're upset.
