So you want to tell me that the press called Venom 2 a p//n with tentacles while Eddie and Venom are literally on the run? Sitting on a beach, looking at a beautiful sunset/sunrise? Venom says that when you love someone, you accept them with all their defects? And Eddie goes, "Wait, go back. Did you just tell that you love me?" And Annie and Dan call them a married couple? And Venom laughs at his enemy, "Marriage trouble? Already? So soon?" while it took him and Eddie at least a year before they had their first serious fight.

This is a romantic movie about two partners that care about one another, that are bickering and fighting their enemies, but also want to stay together. It's so domesticated. It's so lovely.

Venom 1 was about meeting each other and getting used to this. Venom 2 is a love story about a human and his alien boyfriend who together are husbands to be.

And the press with their silly, unrealistic titles that can't handle the softness and the love in this movie?

I haven't been able to stop thinking about Eddie and Venom's big fight.

I get they were both upset and angry with each other. But why did Venom destroy Eddie's motorcycle before taking off? It seemed over the top and unnecessary.

But then it hit me...

Venom had witnessed Eddie's heartbreak over Anne. And Eddie had driven recklessly on that motorcycle, not caring about the outcome.

This was a break up. And Venom didn't want Eddie to get on that motorcycle. Because Venom wouldn't be there to stop him this time.

from the very beginning cletus and frances were romantic and their separation was so heart-wrenching how did they manage to do that in like two minutes???

idk why but the opening music sounded very saturday morning cartooney

the chickens are best friends and venom refuses to eat them

cletus’ postcard to eddie and the animation and the framing almost like he’s in the room telling him the story the whole time my brain is going “yaaaaaaaaaaa”

the buildup and reveal of carnage has gotta be one of the best scenes of the year it’s just so good.
