Thankfully it's a little kiss so he didn't straight up die.

I imagine Erik grew up with such self loath but would convert far into the opposite direction later in life, he would act so confident in his fine clothes and behind the protection of his mask, but of course the façade is very fragile.

Especially in a modern AU, in my mind Erik would wear a life-like prosthetic nose — not a mask because it makes him stand out — and walk amongst everyone. He would be more assertive than most people — but not narcissistic — to compensate his low self esteem. And that’s when Christine comes in to take his nose off and mess up everything make him accept his true self :)

Completed this lovely Love Never Dies inspired image and I'm so satisfied with it..... I'm finishing up my graphic novel (only 25 pages left to go!) And this was a lovely and needed diversion.....love to all of you! ❤️ beckaroo
