pres10vance- I’ll never forget the day hearing the news a year ago that you were gone. I’ll always remember you as this larger than life bad ass because that’s what you were. You believed in me, you took a chance on me, and you changed my life. During the tribute show I hugged little Brodie in the ring it was the only time he cried in front of me and I promised him I’ll always be here for him. I’m nowhere near perfect I’m human. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve lied, etc. But those are the truest words I ever spoke and I’ll never break that promise. I thank God everyday I met you in this life. Till we meet again. I wasn’t going to do “The Brodie” workout today, until @joshyg27 sent me a message and I decided that’s the kind of rib he’d love to know lives on in his honor. americannightmarecody- Today we celebrate Jon Huber/Brodie Lee. He was a beautiful man with a beautiful soul. His legend is not romanticized or idealized due to his passing - he was indeed everything people said he was. He connected positively with so so so many and my final interactions with him were so focused on the game and being the best. Being the best for his family and honoring the work he’d put in. I wish I had the chance to get to know him better beyond the ring, but I have the distinct privilege of being able to be around his wonderful family today and get to know Amanda, Nolan, and Lil’ Brodie. Rig and I bonded over the times when we were undesired and we melded over the times when he stepped forward as undeniable. I’ve made a few silent promises to you Jon and I’ll honor them always. Fans enjoy Big Rig today!
