THAT KIND OF LOVE STORY
Everyone was happy except for one - the girl who was wearing the darkest color in the room. Misery. Sorrow. Gloominess. All painted in the girl’s petite face. Her name was Love.
Love, I know, used to be so joyous and cheerful. She was so optimistic of almost everything she does. She would be glad with the little things she receives from everyone. Until she meets Deceit. Then everything changed.
Love and Deceit were always together. Deceit on the lead and Love was always the one who follows. Deceit was the dominant and Love was always the submissive one. Deceit was the master and Love, almost a slave. That’s the movie I always watch at school - supposedly romantic but turned out to be a drama.
There must be something wrong. I sense some flaws and loopholes in their relationship. From then, I decided to personally ask Love.
“I hope you don’t mind if I ask you, Love, but I noticed your changes since you met Deceit. You’ve become so different. Should it be the opposite? You know, ‘cause you finally found your soulmate, I guess,” I bravely asked.
“Well, not all you see with your naked eyes are true with what I feel inside my heart. I can be extremely happy but I can be achingly melancholic as well. But you see, Deceit needs me for him to understand the importance of everything. I know I can get through this struggle. I am just waiting for the right time,” she convincingly said.
And that explains it all. Love is after all mysterious but selfless in the most impossible situation there is.

It was 3 minutes...
When one day, two strangers meet.

He answered with a smile.

Now who would have thought 3 minutes would embark...

BACOLOD ADVENTURES
May 15-17, 2015. My colleague friends conquered Bacolod! This was our first out-of-town trip together, actually. Why Bacolod? I dunno. Maybe because it was near Cebu and yet, we didn’t have the chance to get to know the place. We only commuted in getting to the destinations we wanted to go. So, it was a whole lot of fun!
DAY 1

1st Destination: MAMBUKAL MOUNTAIN RESORT
I didn’t take the chance not to take a photo in this awesome stone wall welcoming us in the resort. This is actually nice to look at when it’s dark because this has lights flashed on it.
Trekking! But lemme take a selfie first! SMILE!!!!
One of their attractions here is the BUTTERFLY GARDEN.
These are some of the dead butterflies preserved and put in frames for display.
Does this show my frustration for photography? HAHAHA! I tried my very best to get good candid shots of this colorful butterflies. I just love lookin’ at ‘em. Nakaka happy! :D
Usie first! Another attraction here is the Japanese ofuro.
The Japanese word, ofuro, means "a tub."
In Japan, no daily ritual is more uniquely important to the individual's well being than the bath at the end of the day. The ofuro has been used by the Japanese for centuries to alleviate both physical and spiritual maladies. This ancient technique of immersion in hot water takes away tensions and stress, soothes muscular pains, and stimulates the blood's circulation.

Another one is the Warm Sulfur Dipping Pool.
Four feet deep with love seat surrounding the pool where the people could sit and dip.
After a long day at Mambukal, our tummies were in search of good food. So it’s best if we try Bacolod’s chicken inasal. People say that they have the best taste all over the Philippines. So, why not try it? (at Aida’s Manokan Country)
Dahil nga gutom na, ‘di na nakunan ng picture ang chicken inasal! Hahahaha! Anyway, their place were full of masks (symbol of Bacolod as the City of Smiles).
After a sumptuous dinner, headed to Calea for a delightful dessert.
Malalaki ‘yong cake nila, ah! And super affordable! Sulit talaga!
DAY 2
2nd destination: CAMPUESTOHAN HIGHLAND RESORT

Another great new highlight of Campuestohan Highland Resort is the Rope Course. The main objective of this feature is to challenge guests to complete the course without falling off the more than ten feet elevated series of planks, tires, ropes, etc. If you look at it from below, the course seemed easy enough to hurdle. Once you tried it, however, you will find that it takes all of your strength, willpower and perseverance to complete the task without falling. Almost all of the resort guests who have tried the rope course praised it saying that it is by far the best feature that the place has. In a way, the course tests how far the guests are willing to go. Don’t worry though if you slip and fall because the harness will safely catch you. Just like the zipline, you must have your sports shoes on if you want to try out the rope course.

The 24th chapter of my life finally unfolds! The last 23 years of my life were full of ups and downs. Good thing, I am still able to stand up after falling down. Di ko rin naman magagawa ‘yon kung wala naman strong support system. I have my family and friends who were always there to catch me. My birthday yesterday was nothing grand actually. It comes with age na din, ano? Hehehe. Di na uso ‘yong may handa. Naglaba nga lang ako ng mga damit, eh. Hahahaha! ❤ CAMOTES ISLAND ❤
April 9, 2015 - My high school classmates, Eva and Rio, and I went to Camotes Island. Well, it’s rare to have this two girls pulled out from their hectic schedule at work but I did! Hahaha! Well, maybe they realized that sometimes, we need to chill and relax after a very tiresome juggle at work.
1st day
We are on board a fast craft (I forgot the name! Hehehe)! The travel is about 3 hours or more depending on the current of the ocean. That time, the weather was fine so the trip was good. Oooopppsss! Except for one time that the boat stopped in the middle of the ocean. The men on board explained that the seaweeds wrapped around the propeller made the boat stop. It took about 5 minutes before the boat moved again. After that, it was a smooth trip until we docked into the port of Poro.
A lot of habal-habal drivers (motorcycle drivers) are waiting in the docking area. We weren’t able to call or reserve someone to pick us up. Good thing, someone went near us and offered his package tour. So we immediately grabbed it since we were in a hurry. We need to finish the tour in just one day because we will eventually be leaving tomorrow.
P.S.: The roads in Camotes Island were all clean. Not to mention, the smooth roads.
And we arrived at our hotel. We booked one room for 3 persons, 2 days and 1 night at Santiago Bay Garden and Resort. The place was clean and it was a breath of fresh air, I must say.

This is the reception area. Their interior is good. The furniture pieces and large vases bring a tribal vibe to the place.
They also have huge wood sculptures which bring an Indian or Aztec ambiance to the whole area.

Before we went on our tour, we had our lunch at Pito’s Sutukil, located just below the resort. When I read some travel blogs about Camotes, they all recommended this eatery. So might as well, try it. And we didn’t have any regrets because the food was very delicious and very much affordable.

The beach was enchanting. If it wasn’t that hot, I could have dived in there for several hours. Arggghhhh! I’m pretty sure I will be back here soon.

We only had a picture of the lake since again, we were in a hurry. But we didn’t miss the horseback riding worth 50 php! Hahaha! Horses are just adorable, am I right?

We swam in the beach for a while. This is the only beach we swam in, by the way. Takot kasi umitim ang mga ate niyo! Hahaha! But of course, I didn’t miss the chance to have the “I HEART YOU” sign in front of the sun. Hahaha!
TIMUBO CAVE (4th stop)
I love this place! It’s a spring inside a cave so the water is very fresh. After a scorching dive in the beach, it’s very refreshing to have a dip in a cool spring water. Awwww, so relaxing!
BUHO ROCK FORMATION (5th stop)
1st photo: We had a picture with the words read as “I LOVE BUHO ROCK”.
2nd photo: It’s not that obvious but we were actually on top of a cliff there. The spot where we’re standing at is for diving. I considered diving that time but it was already low tide so I didn’t take the chance. Gusto ko pa mabuhay, ano! Hehehe.
3rd photo: A shot of the beautiful sunset from the diving spot. But that cliff is also intended for diving, as well.
4th photo: Of course, the “I HEART YOU” sign in front of the sunset. HAHAHAHA!
2nd day
My dream! It’s a foot selfie in front of an infinity pool! Tedeeeeen! Hahaha!
It was a nice time for a morning swim! We had the pool all for ourselves. HAHAHA!
De-stressing ends here! Back to reality :( But anyway, we’ll surely be back. (at Jomalia Ship back to Cebu City)

43. How do you want to be courted?
= I still prefer old school kind of courtship. I believe CHIVALRY IS NOT DEAD. The guys have their choice if they want it the easy or hard way. I want him to woo my family especially my parents, as well. I appreciate if the guy gives me something like the usual flowers, chocolates, etc. But I would appreciate it more if he puts effort on it. I like it if he gives me letters, does some gentle gestures like pulling the chair for me if we’re on a date and surprises me with not anything grand but very romantic.
44. What’s your ideal romantic date?
= Wow! By the beach watching the sunset or at night lying down the grass and stargazing.. Tapos usap lang na walang dull moments. I’m happy with small and simple things na nag-eeffort ang guy.
45. Friendship as a foundation of a relationship?
= I think it’s good. But be sure the friendship is true and walang hidden agenda ang bawat isa. Like kaya lang siya nakikipag-kaibigan sa’yo kasi gusto lang niya manligaw. Dapat yung friends na kayo matagal na tapos bigla lang nagka-spark nang di inaasahan.

Strolling down the road - wet, alone.. Then, songs play randomly as if living in reverie.
Yung feeling na parang nasa music video ka? HAHAHA! What’s in my mind? Well, a lot! I’m thinking of my future, etc. When I got heartbroken, I thought of the good and bad moments we had with my ex. Pag ginagawa ko yun, I literally cry. But hindi naman yung hagulhol to the max! Hehehehe. Nakaw eksena lang! The rain makes me emotional. My mind gets preoccupied with a lot of thoughts. Music helps me soothe and calm. Lahat nalang ata ng ginagawa ko, dapat may music, e. Whatever I’m feeling, I just grab my music player then I feel like transport to another world. I could listen to music forever! Kahit siguro ako lang sa isang island, kaya ko basta may music lang. Well anyway, these are just some of the songs listed in my playlist. Because it’s rainy season, ito yung mga songs na gusto kong pakinggan tuwing umuulan. I have about 50 songs and I’m going to list it here. The songs are played randomly, by the way. Gusto ko naman lahat ng songs! :))
