I bought my first stim toy, other than the ones I’ve made, from @stimtastic and it’s the Oreo-shaped chew pendant. It has a lot of good texture from the pattern and doesn’t hurt my jaw too much. It came with a free bracelet that says stimicious and I love it.
Tumblr media
I followed a tutorial from @stimtoybox to flavor/scent it and I used maple and butter flavouring in hot water. I put it in a mug with the flavouring/water mix and let it sit all day, and it smells amazing. It honestly smells like pancakes, which isn’t very strong, but it still smells really good. Next time I do this, I’ll probably use orange or citrus extract or something stronger. Due to science, the mixture soaked the strings even though I was careful to leave them out, so if you don’t want to get the strings wet, I’d recommend setting the strings straight upwards so it doesn’t soak up that much.

Spikey Animal Fidget Toys price: 0.80 Where to get it: https://www.stimtastic.co/stim-toys/spiky-animal-fidget
Review: Today’s review is spikey animal fidget toys. I personally really like these. This type of fidget I find very helpful for picking. You can dig your nail in and pick at the root of the spikes, it helps distract from picking at other things (like scabs, nails, and what not). The texture is also very calming and satisfying in my opinion. There is no chemical smell, it’s made with good materials. I love the bright colors and cute little animals (the cattipillar is by far my favorite of them all because its the biggest and best shape in my opinion). Spikey animal fidgets are perfectly quiet and easy to hide, it’s good for in classrooms and other such situations. With a price so low I highly recommend. If you have any questions about the item feel free to msg me.
(If you purchase these, you tell them which ones you want at checkout.)
Stimtastic.co , the company I bought them from, is a great company. They have a wide variety of fidget toys and chewlery at very affordable prises. One stop shop for your personal sensory needs.

My Stim Toy Collection
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(1st Photo) Overall view of sensory station. On the floor is my 3.5 weighted turtle. I love him so much <3 Around the trolley cart is my galaxy ear defenders. On the right is my Ikea Raskog Cart filled with assorted stim toys.
(2nd Photo)- Top shelf of Ikea Cart- Assorted squishies, silicon fidget toys & lots of different types of dough balls and net balls. There’s also a moon/star light stick that flashes bright colours. And a visual stick that has floating glitter/gemstones when you turn it upside down.
(3rd Photo)
Middle Shelf of Ikea Cart- a rainbow sequin-flip journal, a rainbow pouch that contains different chewies, a tub of slime and assorted putties. A few soft toys, and 3 containers of different colours of ‘Foam Alive’, from my Foam Alive Ice cream Kit.
Bottom shelf of Ikea Cart- A giant slimeball, a few silicon toys, some textured cubes/animals (that are actually babies toys, but they have nice texture!). There’s also lots of light up spiky balls etc and visual balls. And a few snake puzzles.
(4th Photo) Top shelf is lots of liquid timers and a light up glitter lava lamp.
Next shelf has a cup containing a glitter liquid pen, a liquid timer pen, and lots of Scentos scented textas/markers, there’s also 4 tangles there including a fuzzy tangle. A TY rainbow Narwhal plush, I love his shine!! And other assorted stim toys including a fidget cube and a spiky Lapras who swims when you move him along a flat surface. The lava lamp pictured is a pink glitter one.
(5th Photo) My latest addiction- plush squishies. All of them are squeezamals apart from the largest one- a bunny plush. The yellow cat is their 3D version. Some of the round squeezamals are from a blind box and some are from Series 3. There’s also a pin board thing there, with the needle pins you can touch and a heart mirror light in the centre,
Lowest shelf- Assorted toys including a giant orange squishy. A few weights, that I am supposed to be using for my CFS, but the weight of them also feels nice! There’s also a textured grass foam dinosaur. The texture is great when you really are in a texture-craving mood. The top tub pictured holds my moulds from the Foam Alive Icecream Kit and some sandcastle mini moulds for my Kinetic Sand (which is stored in the lower tub)
That’s my stim toy collection/sensory station so far!!
Excluding a few plushies and my Senseez Jellyfish vibrating cushion.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Stim toys are definitely my special interest 💕
I will eventually take more detailed photos of every item in the Ikea cart etc. But for now, this is the overall view.
💫Kink/ DDLG DNI💫

Please read if you’re a student
You are NOT PROCRASTINATING, if - you’re sick - you have headache - you feel pain - you’re exhausted - you feel anxious - you have had big changes in your life that make you feel tired/restless/anxious/sad - you have to skip a class/take rest because of reasons I mentioned above. It’s not procrastinating. You’re not lazy. Everyone needs to have rest and take care of themselves when they’re sick. IT IS NOT OKAY TO WORK IN PAIN. Don’t burn out. It’s not worth it. Do not feel guilty. After some rest and relaxing you will study even more effectively. If you feel pain, - take a medicine if it works for you - put all of your books away - take warm shower - eat at least 1 healthy thing and 1 treat/feel-good-food, drink water - go to bed, sleep or read a book/listen to music that is not related to your school (if you have headache/migraine I suggest you to switch off the lights and just sleep) - just take your time - it’ll be all okay.

I’m moving in three weeks, and needed a way to hold all my toys from your store (cause I always store and separate my toys by where they came from rather than color or function or what have you). This doesnt include any of my chew necklaces, weighted animals, or the bunny lap pad, but this is most of the trinkets. Some of these things you don’t have for sale anymore, so I try to take good care of all of them! A lot of my spare money goes towards stuff from the store lol. I just love everything so much. Thank you for making everything so affordable. Even when I had no job and had no money to my name, I was able to get toys to stim with.
Idk why Im sharing this, but I thought you would like to see.

Eye contact causes pain in autistic people.
Just a friendly reminder that eye contact can literally cause pain for us.  Like the pain centres in the brain light up if we’re in a brain scan.
So if you’re autistic, don’t feel bad for not making eye contact.  If you know autistic people, don’t make a big deal of the lack of eye contact.

Please give people time to respond
If you’re asking someone who is neurodivergent a question, please give them time to respond. This applies to all ND people, including the ones who mask or seem “mostly NT.” And it doesn’t mean a second or two, it means as long as they need.
Because if you don’t, conversations end up like this:
“Do you want to get food?”
“Um…Hm. Ma—“
“Ok you need to say if you do now because we’re not coming back for food.”
“I—uh—I don—“
“Do you want food or not?”
“Uh—no?”
“Alright then, let’s go.”
Then, later, the person may realize that they did indeed want food. They were, in fact, hungry, and now they feel ashamed of themself or feel like they can’t ask. Plus, the sort of stress this causes doesn’t exactly make them like you any more.
Please. Give us time. We need to process the question, process our answer, and put that into words. That process may be harder for us than it is for you. Please respect that, and give us time. Thank you.

Yooooo guess who finally finished a tangle!? I’m probably gonna get this listed for selling *today*!! Woooo!
Also, I wanna hear your opinions. The first tangle I made had silicone spikes that didn’t match the tangle pieces, while this one the spikes match the original color of the tangle. Which do you guys prefer?
