translating ですね as "innit"
Pro: more nuanced translation that otherwise would be difficult to render into English
Con: inevitable "THE MOON'S BLOODY BEAUTIFUL INNIT"

linguistic differences are so fun
for example, in English, you have the word “baby”, but if you want to talk about a baby in a formal context, you’d use “infant”, which in Latin originally meant “not speaking” bc yknow babies can’t talk
meanwhile in Hungarian, you’d use “baby” (or the native “baba” which is coincidentally similar due to both words coming straight from actual baby babbles) informally just like English, while in a formal context, you’d say “csecsemő”, which literally translates to...titsucker
