I believe that the Daycare Attendant is actually pretty light weighted as a safety code. I mean, if they were to fall on some kid (maybe because they ran out of power all of the sudden or for whatever reason), and they weighted tons upon tons, then this kid will die, but if they weighted somewhat (WAY) lighter than that then the kid will only get a few bruises at best and a broken bone at worst.

And also because I want to pick them up :P

In the fic, they're meant to be male-coded (priests and such) but it's vague enough that it's easy to project over and ignore it if that's more your speed

Franklin "Frankie" O'Connor

He's Monty’s Handler! Quick-tempered and intimidating, he's very nice once he opens up to you. He's got a surprising amount of anxiety under the belt, and uses smoking, boxing, and drumming to deal with it. Has already been clawed by Monty and has scars running under his tattoos. (He also has circuity tattoos running down each arm but I got really tired while drawing it ashsjd)

From Left to right:

Mele "Snakebite" Ka'uhane - a six foot brute (she/they) that's here for a good time, not a long time. Generally chill, but can have a quick temper and become moody/violent when pushed wrong. Likes teasing/bothering people, looking cool, and secretly enjoys Sanrio products and other cutesy things (they'd never admit it)

Nathaniel Reyes - Not actually my OC, don't look at him (I also borrowed him to Cameo)

Jack Harley - A lanky, 6'2", smart, well-meaning nerd that's also an idiot. Currently works as the DCA's Handler. Loves robotics and mechanics, motorcycles, stage magic, and anime. Is currently going to school part time for Astrophysics. Has ALSO gotten injured while working for the plex (choked by Moon and hit by a truck on the way home)

Danika "Dani" Bates - Tiny 4'10" spitfire of a woman. Generally quite laid-back, but very controlling. She gets things done, even if they're not in the most orthodox ways. Very goth and sassy and sarcastic, but not mean. She's currently Roxy's Handler.

And here’s the bear-dad and rat-child!

I feel like Freddy was the first (and only) adult victim Afton took.  Experimenting with electricity, he planned on using it to electrocute Gregory and see if that made the soul’s power any stronger.

It certainly did!  But Afton wasn’t counting on Gregory’s older brother getting in the way and taking the hit.  William botched the kidnapping and Gregory was able to run home and call for his brother, Freddy, his only remaining family.

Not knowing what he was faced with, Freddy took the hit to try and shield his younger brother.  The shock killed him, and without any charge in his weapon, Afton had to retreat.

In death, Freddy’s soul was strong and charged enough that most living people could sense something was off, and so Gregory was avoided.  Gregory ended up going on the run and fending for himself, generally run out of towns and stealing to survive.  One fateful night, forced out of town and into the woods, a bear was stupid enough to try its luck at snagging Gregory for a quick meal.  It met Freddy’s protective wrath and ended up becoming his new host body.

Freddy remains very mild-mannered and gentle, even after death, but is incredibly protective of his charge.  Though, nobody dares to approach them anyway.

TLDR: Afton tried to kill Gregory, shocked/killed Freddy (Gregory’s brother), then Freddy’s soul followed Gregory until he possessed a whole ass bear.
