MHA Characters as Pokémon Trainers

Dabi (Toya) :

His father wanted him to be a fire type trainer, but Dabi felt like fire types were too much like his father 

So he tended to gravitate toward ice and water types instead

That being said, Dabi’s first pokemon was an eevee he found lost from its family

Enji was initially furious, wanting his son’s first pokemon to be a strong fire type

Dabi as a pokemon trainer doesn’t really like to battle for fun

He’ll only really battle if he has too, he likes it better when he can just take care of and play with his pokemon

The pressure from his father became so much at one point that Dabi ran away from home for his own journey 

Along the way he evolved his eevee into a glaceon and came across a feebas and immediately bonded with it

He wanted nothing to do with fire types or his father’s dreams of him becoming the best trainer 

So Dabi went the opposite way and started to train to become a pokemon doctor

Since he found himself so overjoyed to take care of his own pokemon he wanted to be able to help other pokemon in need

Instead of becoming the top trainer he became the number one sought out doctor to take care 

His main helpers for his work being his glaceon and now evolved milotic

Habits in a Relationship

Description: These are just habits that they would have in a relationship, like affectionate habits or things they do for you!

Characters: Tendou, Oikawa, Ushijima

Tendou:

Will randomly come up behind you while you’re talking to someone and just rest his chin on your head. Not even wrapping his arms around you just chin on your head

 Tendou loves making you laugh wherever and whenever. So expect random funny faces during tests in class or just wiggling eyebrows toward you when he’s on the court

Big on PDA, he will kiss you sometimes in the middle of you talking just because he wants to feel your lips on his

Loves comparing the size of his hand to yours and will tease you if yours is way smaller than his

In private good luck getting him away from you! Man is always wanting to have wrapped up in his arms

Holding you in his lap and feeding you whatever new thing he cooked is one of his favorite things to do

If your shorter than he is he loves teasing you when you ask for help to reach things on high shelfs 

Ushijima: 

Head pats all day long. Whenever he first sees you in the morning? Head pat! You join him for lunch? Head pat! He sees you before one of his games? Definitely getting a head pat. 

The head pat is just a small bit of affection Ushijima is most comfortable doing around others

Believe it or not, Ushijima loves when you steal his clothing to wear! He finds the sight of you wrapped up in a big sweater of his adorable

So much so that he’ll sometimes leave you sweaters of his in your dorm to wear the next day when he visits

Ushijima loves to cuddle! He loves feeling your head on his chest and absolutely cherishes playing with your hair

Loves just being in the same room as you, even if your not doing anything special! Doing your homework together is a great date in his book!

Since volleyball takes a lot of his focus Ushijima loves more than anything when you come to his games

It almost always makes the ace smile when he sees you in the crowd cheering him on

Oikawa:

The only one out these three who is completely for PDA

Has absolutely zero shame about kissing you in front of everybody (not that you mind though)

Can get protective of you when around other teams, so tends to cling to your side right up until he needs to be on the court

God help the player whoever decides to try and flirt with you to get your number because Oikawa will be right there instantly to wrap himself around you

In private he’s more gentle with his affection because he knows it’s just the two of you and he has nothing to be afraid of

He loves to trace his fingers over your skin, whether it be on your back or up your arms, he just loves the feel of it

Another habit he has is whenever he hugs you Oikawa will tend to bury his face into the crook of your neck, nuzzling your skin as he does so

One of Oikawa’s absolute favorite things to do for you though is spoiling you, he loves to buy you random gifts, even if small ones, he just loves gifting you every day

It’s his way of letting you know he’s always he thinking of you even when you’re not with him

Sugar and Honey

Description: Just a small little blurb of the start of relationship with Kenma. This is my first time writing for Haikyu!! So I’m pretty excited, hope you guys like it! 

WARNINGS: None, just general fluff

A relationship wasn’t easy with him, Kenma knew that better than anyone.  . 

You were the last thing he expected. 

After all, Kenma was more than content with his life. He had a good group of close friends, games to play to keep his free time occupied. It never really occurred to him that he would need anything else. 

Then there was you. 

You came from no where, and at first Kenma didn’t even glance your way. Like usual he was to wrapped up in the current game he was playing. His tunnel vision not moving from the switch in his hands. 

“Is that the new animal crossing game?” 

Kenma jumped at the sound of the new voice and glanced up to see you’re bright eyes watching him. He instantly looked back down mumbling a quite, “uh yeah.” 

He felt himself inch back further when you crouched down in front of him in order to see the game better. 

“I’ve been saving up forever to get the game,” your voice should’ve been grating to him. Your tone was whiny, but for some reason he couldn’t help but sneak another glance up at you. 

At the sight of your pout the first words that came to his mind were, ‘cute’. There was no way Kenma would ever admit that out loud though. 

When his eyes met yours it seemed to fuel you to continue talking, and he glanced back down to his game as you spoke. 

“I’m Y/N, you’re Kenma right?” 

Another quiet, ‘uh huh.’ Though he was wondering how you knew his name, Kemna definitely didn’t stick out. 

“I’ve been to all your guy’s games. You’re an amazing team!” You’re voice was full of joy, your tone holding nothing but sweetness. 

That got Kemna’s attention. 

“Every game?” He asked curiously glancing up from his game to your smile. 

“Yep! Haven’t missed one so far!” Your expression was happy, the sparkling of your eyes drew Kenma in even more. It almost threw him off a little how easily he was still able to sit there and talk to you. 

Well, the ‘talk’ was more of you chatting away about things and Kenma giving small responses. It’s not that he wasn’t listening it’s just that he was still new to you. So it was a bit intimidating to try and make conversation. 

“Kenma, time for practice.” 

Kenma knew who it was even before looking up. He saw Kuroo looking between you and him, probably wondering why you were still there. Kenma definitely wasn’t a person to keep conversation with a stranger. 

“Right,” Kenma said sliding his switch into his bag and standing up, with you copying his actions. He turned to say bye to you and was caught off guard again by your more softer smile. 

“I’ll see you at your next game, good luck,” You seemed to have almost muted your personality since Kuroo came around. It made Kenma wonder if you were shy like him but in your own sort of way. 

The next time Kenma saw you was at their official game. He wasn’t sure why but his eyes instantly found you among the crowd of people. When his eyes met yours your lips seem to pull into a bigger smile, and you waved at him. 

“Oya, did Kenma get a girlfriend?” Kuroo’s voice cut through his thoughts causing Kenma to quickly snap his head away from you, his cheeks becoming warm. 

“Shut up,” he mumbled as Kuroo snickered. 

Knowing you were there though, watching him play, it made Kenma want to do better. He wanted you to be impressed with his skills. It was something he’s never felt before. Sure there have been girls before you who have tried to get close to him, in the end it was just a way to get close to Kuroo. 

You were the only person who’s approached him without Kuroo around. You wanted to talk to him. 

Kenma couldn’t help but fall for you then. Never having strong feelings for anyone before though made him terrified when he realized how different he felt around you. 

After seeing you at their game Kenma found himself purposefully sitting in places just so he could see you walk by and gain your attention. He would make more of an effort to listen to what you said in conversations. 

The sight of your smile made his stomach twist in a good way and the way your eyes lit up whenever you seemed to notice him made his heart race in his chest. He’s never been in love before, and the only person he really felt comfortable talking to about his feelings was Kuroo. 

“Kenma…” Kuroo sighed heavily giving his a friend a tired look. 

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Kenma bit the inside of his cheek, suddenly feeling his heart jump into his throat. Was he possibly wrong about the way he felt about you? He rubbed his sweaty hands against his pants as Kuroo’s next words really froze him to his spot. 

“You like them.” 

“No I don’t.” Kenma’s words came so quickly that it made Kuroo laugh which just caused him to throw his best friend a glare and look to the frozen screen of the game they’d been playing. 

“I’ve never seen you pay attention to anyone more than you do Y/N.” Kuroo let out a small chuckle, smiling at his friend fondly. “You even make sure you’re in the places Y/N walks by so you’re able to talk to her, don’t think I haven’t noticed. 

Kenma opens his mouth to protest but Kuroo just raises his eyebrow and Kenma sighs, looking down at his hands as he felt his face warm up from embarrassment at being caught. 

“So what do I do?” He looked up to Kuroo frowning softly. “I’ve never really had feelings like this for someone before.” 

“If my hunch is right, and it usually is,” Kenma rolled his eyes at Kuroo’s smirk. “I’m sure Y/N already likes you.” 

Kenma didn’t know how true those words were. Comparing himself to you there was no question you were a million times better than him, there was no doubt in his mind. 

So why did you still seem to smile so brightly at him when he walked up to you that day? While his heart was practically jumping out of his chest, his mouth going dry while trying to get his words to come out. Why did you still seem to look at him like he was the most amazing person in the world?

He didn’t know, but when he was finally able to get those three words out. 

“I like you.” 

Kenma held his breath as he watched your eyes widen and you seemed to freeze in place, your mouth opening and closing with words that never came out. He felt his stomach drop. 

Maybe he was wrong? Maybe you didn’t actually like him as much as he thought? He was so stupid, of course you wouldn’t- 

His train of thoughts were cut off when he felt your arms go around his waist. He felt butterflies erupt in his stomach. Kenma didn’t hesitate to hug you back, hiding his face in your shoulder as you spoke. 

“I didn’t think you would ever admit it, well... I guess I mean,” You were stumbling over your words much like he struggled to get his out. It made him smile against your skin. 

Kenma pulled his face away from your neck though because he wanted to see your face as you spoke, his heart already crippling from the sight of your flushed face. 

“I never thought you would like me too..” You smiled fondly while looking at him with sparkling eyes. “I know you’re not the most social person, but ever since I saw you first year there was just something about you that made me want to know you more.” 

“I didn’t really expect you to come into my life either, but after we first met I started to notice you everywhere.” Kenma looked away to hide his face. “I started to notice you at our games and it made me want to do better, be better.” 

When Kenma felt  your hand grab his he bit his lip to keep in his gasp, the feeling of your skin against his was like silk. Smooth and warm. 

Kenma looked back to you curiously and wondered what you were doing as you removed your hand from his. His thoughts clicked together on what you were planning and he couldn’t feel anything but warmth spread through his chest. 

When your hand rested against his cheek and you tilted your face up toward his Kenma met you halfway. He had never felt more at ease till your lips pressed against his. 

You tasted like sugar, just as sweet as the rest of you was. The kiss was brief but both of you pulled away with smiles on your faces. 

Kenma could feel eyes on them and knew more than likely his team was watching from a distance. He could care less about them spying right now. 

“I promise to be the best I can for you,” Kenma said with a determined glint in his eyes. 

“You already are.” 

Your words made Kenma feel over the moon, more so than he already did. So he couldn’t help himself and pulled you into another hug, hiding his face into your neck again. A habit he would come to have over the course of your relationship. 

Kenma’s love for you came slowly but it was very deep and unconditional. And he was so happy to have you in his life. He wouldn’t trade you for anything in the world
