I feel like this could also be an analogy to the AIDs epidemic and how almost a whole generation got wiped out. Even though the movie takes place in 1962 it has a more futuristic setting which gives me a combining of decades vibes.

honestly tho that scene in the incredibles where mr. incredible sees the names of all the old super heroes that used to be his friends / that he knew from Back in the Day and how every one of them has been killed by syndrome is such a chilling scene for so many reasons 

like for one, everyone he knew is dead at this point and has been killed on the same island he’s at now and two, its heartbreaking bc that means that almost every hero wanted to try out being a hero again despite the laws against it and wanted to try and help someone out and relive their glory days, only to be straight up murdered like fuck that scene is just so fuckin intense

raising your hand and correcting the teacher/professor when they fuck up during a lecture

sharing your marked up copies of leviathan, the communist manifesto, and the republic with anyone interested

casually debating with your friends

worn out oxfords or combat boots

dark circles under your eyes

doodling on your quizzes (even if you don’t think you’re any good) so you don’t have to be the first to turn yours in

never being afraid to fight against the system when it’s flawed (also never being afraid to fight for somebody’s rights)

IDK just a thing I came up with

We danced upon a summer morning as the moon slipped below the horizon upon the meadow's breast. Your curls flowed in the breeze and kissed your cheek. I'd offer my hand to you again and again in this infinite wonderland of ours. Yet, we are not there. There is no meadow, but there is us. In our downtown apartment - comfortable. 

We filled it with cats and dreams and us. Plants, books and maps of the world sprawled out like an ever changing root system. I walk on fire crossing the treacherous path to you - I don't want our dragons to nip my feet. I grab you from behind my glorious prize and nuzzle my face into the crook of your neck. We're back in our meadow with the moon rising above the horizon and the days end marking the beginning of ours. As the world sleeps I long to be forever in your arms if the fates deem it so. A shooting star falls and as it's door opens he returns to our life from a long trip around the world.

Seriously I have read plot summaries and I feel like my brain just freezes when romance movies play. The only part of any version of romeo and juliet i remember is Mercucio and the 2 idiots dying.

All i remember from pride and prejudice is that Elizabeth's "plain sister" is a whole mood and i adore her.
